For those who might be unaware of this, a 6 episode show, "The Shining Stars" (éȘèçææ) will air on the 22nd which is basically just a story of a three day long trip involving the four main characters. The description says that Ding Yuxi, Zhu Xudan and Yang Shize take on the identities of three people who "reverse traveled" to the modern world and met Yu Shuxin at the island. I read a lot of doubts from viewers about the identity connection between Fu Zhou and Ziqi, but this little detail on the sheet (that was on the screen for literally a second) cements the fact that it was Ziqi who has loved Miaomiao all along.

I rewatched the last episode and realized that the name on Fu Zhouâs hospital sheet actually says Xia Ziqi. Iâm not sure if anyone else noticed or mentioned it here but it further cements the fact that there has only been one person that has loved Miaomiao from the start: Ziqi.
(I also take back the words I said about Fu Zhou potentially having died in the hospital. It was just something that viewers were speculating but having watched the episode again, Fu Zhou is literally Ziqi. Thereâs no mistaking this.)
This will probably be my favorite drama of 2024. I haven't been watching as many dramas as I have been before, and this drama really lit up my life over the past few weeks as I've been going through some tough times. It's been really fun seeing everyone bond over this drama, from talking about the dynamics between the four leads, the OST, to how good DYX looks (lol).
I remember learning about the casting over a year ago and being distraught seeing how many Chinese netizens were shit talking the casting of the main leads. They're definitely eating their words now! I can't image anyone else as Miaomiao and Ziqi. No matter what you think about the ending, I hope everyone enjoyed following the journey between the different characters.

I totally second this! I can understand the disappointment from some viewers but as DYX said in an interview, there are so many other ways to express affection. Sure, a kiss would have been super cute, but we can see how much Miaomiao and Ziqi love one another even without a mouth to mouth kiss.
