I was watching a BTS scene and saw Jiang Yuanbai drinking iced coffee...don't know why but I found this really funny. And even funnier when you realize this is the exorcism scene.

This may come as shocking, but Zhang Yunlong was the first choice but he chose another drama instead. No hate, but thank god！ And (gasp), Yu Zheng originally said that Wu Jinyan and Wang Xingyue weren't a good match but admitted that he was wrong! (And apparently netizen comments also influenced his decision)

1. During the Story of Kunning Palace livestream with Bai Lu, Zhang Linghe, Wang Xingyue and Liu Xiening, Wang Xingyue was asking a question about the character Jiang Xuening, but instead of saying "Jiang Er Gu Niang" - which translates to Second Miss Jiang, WXY said "Jiang Er Niang Zi", which is what Jiang Li is called. (Gu Niang and Niang Zi are similar ways of saying miss, but Niang Zi can sometimes be taken as saying 'Wife') When Bai Lu noticed this, she interrupted him and questioned who this "Jiang Er Niang Zi", to which WXY replied that it was a slip up. He then accidentally said "Jiang Er Niang Zi" again LOL and Bai Lu asked if "you have another Jiang Er"? The whole time, Liu Xiening was smiling and didn't say a single thing (Girl really kept her mouth shut!)
2. On Wu Jinyan's birthday, the cast/crew of The Double wrote their wishes in a card. Wang Xingyue wrote "Your husband is here" on the card and Liang Yongqi wrote "From your ex-husband" 😭😭
3. Someone is drawing caricatures of all the characters and it's hilarious. They really did Shen Yurong and Xiao Heng dirty:

Xiao Heng saying "She's no longer a pawn" is probably one of my favorite lines of the drama. By telling the emperor that he'll be loyal to him as long as he stays a good emperor, Xiao Heng is basically saying, 'if you touch my girl I'm gone' LOL
I love how Xiao Heng immediately tries to explain why he's so concerned about Jiu Yue to XFF LOL, bro's panicking that she's going to get mad 😭 And the way XFF slowly raises her head to look at Xiao Heng at the doorway is hilarious.
I'm just going to put this here. Please mark your spoiler as "spoiler". Click on that box!!! It is so unfair for those who have not caught up yet. The report option is there for a reason too.
I kind of pity SYR, he loved his wife so much. But, he had to stand in the middle and forced by everyone.
I can see what you mean. As of right now, I'm kind of torn about my thoughts on him.
I originally despised him for all the pain he put Xue Fangfei in. He was loving before encountering the Princess Royal, yes, but imagine all the pain XFF was when she realized that her husband was going to kill her, that her in-laws had set her up.
But I've also been scrolling on Douyin, and please take this with a grain of salt, but I've seen some people say that SYR was always protecting XFF, in a way. The bamboo stick he gave her after he threw her into the hole in the mountain could have acted as a breathing pipe to keep XFF alive. I guess we'll have to continue watching to see if he really wants to protect her.
But if I were XFF, I wouldn't forgive him either. What he did, even if he was forced to, is unforgivable. However, as a viewer, we can see that he still cares about XFF, but more about himself and his position.
When they were still filming, Wang Xingyue would sometimes pass by the small bus Wu Jinyan stayed in when she resting/getting ready to film and knock on it like a fan, then quickly walk away LOL. They're so funny together.
I really like the makeup the women use with the pearls...I saw on Douyin that it's inspired by the Song Dynasty. The pearls have also became super popular among young Chinese women taking historical photos.
