Honestly, just ignore most of the rude comments. Some of them are just suggesting other FLs but others are plain rude. Do people understand that not everyone has watched the same dramas and that an article doesn't have an infinite amount of space? LOL. Nonetheless, love love loved the article!

It definitely wasn't terrible but I was pretty disappointed with it. This may have been because I was expecting something new and different from the start (given the intriguing intro) but the show kind of dragged on and SML was given way too much screen time.
However, there were people who really enjoyed it, so if you like historical Cdramas and/or are a fan of Zhang Linghe and Zhao Jinmai, you could give it a try! Some of the side characters were also fun to watch.

Ever since I got serious about watching Cdramas, there's always been one unforgettable drama every summer. And the drama almost always ends up being one I never planned on watching, but ended up falling in love with. I doubt any other C-Drama will be worthy of the Summer 2024 award...
