I ended up upping my rating by 1 for a relative peaceful ending. If the show had been like this for the last 10 eps at least but nooooope sigh. Oh well, it is a 3/10 for me and that is being gracious.

hmm i mostly (only) comment after an episode has aired and read the comments otherwise. So my comments are pretty much buried now and you have to go hunt for them lol. Have no desire to fight with people that are upset that FL is no perfect girlboss slaaaaaying or something. I really like Hongjo the way she is , she is relatable and more real than a lot of the kdrama FL's. I have always liked Rowoon since Extraordinary You and followed his progression as an actor, as with each drama he kept improving. DWY is definitely his best work yet and i love that loser puppy/cold lawyer split persona of his so much. Everything about this drama, themes, plot (i am sucker for past lives if done right like in From Now On Showtime for example) acting, comedy, romance, and characters sucks me right in, so wednesday/Thursdays are my new "cant wait" days for now, heh. Looking forward to Hyoshim too and hope for a much better weekender experience now where i am not the complete noob in it anymore as i was at the start of TRHC and know what to look out for.

As for the leads here, we will never know i guess. She has been filming TRHC for a crazy long time as it common with weekenders (job guarantee on the other hand) so a lot can happen in that amount of time. They seemed fine in the bts vids tho, so i am thinking a looooot is due to the abysmal directing and writing. It was obvious tho that AJH tried more than her, or at least that is my impression. idk.

Been telling you all since weeks that this dumbass won't remember them. At least i don't need to eat my proverbial hat now lmao.

I have not watched it yet but it is the next on my list. It is also shorter than 50 eps, 36 eps if i remember it correctly. So a "short" weekender heh. The clips i have seen were cute tho.

Also highly recommend Five Enough. It is from 2016 but in many many regards even more modern than this backward ass drama here. Patchwork family and all, the most excellent parenting (of the leads) i have seen in a kdrama, cute kids, and cute lovelines too.

You know what this could have been an interesting storyline... 10 eps earlier or so and followed through completely. Not him making it to USA or something but fully kidnapping Haneul with police involved and then....jail time. He'd been past any point of return in a normal structured/written story (which TRHC is not lol) so might as well go all in. Not this half-baked chicken shit we got here including asshole's sudden come to jesus moment which is contrived and boring af. Plus it gives this bastard all the credit for doing the "right thing" and excuse me while i barf
