Could not agree more, a lot of the tone and meaning of her running away would have a complete different if she kept contact to her support system and helped to sort out the situation "at home" remotely and together with them. You know... like an adult with a working brain would instead of acting like a child with the mindset "if i go away all my problems go away and the problems of other people too."

This makes me wanna write either a) Yeondoo sitting down TK at the beach and giving him all the deets ( i feel unsafe i can't do this now i now what i promised but fear for the life of my child when i am staying in this environment and no you cannot run away with me now i need to do this on my own but i will also need your support, lets work out a plan, together with my family. I don't plan for a long separation from you, but Jinjja should be my -our- priority now. I'll help remotely however i can until situation is sorted out. I need to look into ways to protect Jinjja post birth so JH can't take the kid away etc) and/ or b) him visiting her either after 5 months of radio silence and uncle cluing him (why did he never told tk i will never understand given how DS has seen him suffering with uncertainty and has such a high opinion of him) and they work it out from there. Like, there are so many ways with little change needed in how it would have been a more satisfying story re: the leads, and they really took the worst possible one, and effectively resetting all characters to their eps 1 state, even. (Minus the timejump magic for sourgrapes couple and the bewildering one year of not meeting your families challenge the young hypocrites partook in. ) It is a complete stalemate regarding all characters except maybe granny being the MVP more and more and TK being his still his awesome self but with a lot of emotional scars now.

And i have never seen this happening in a story in such an entirety.

Nothing about the writing of her character makes sense after 32. In fact a lot, if not all of the writing does not make sense after eps 32. The latest point where it all went wrong but i would actually go waaaaaay back to pinpoint writing mistakes made, but that is a post for another time.

Bottom line is... why do you give the mother of your ML such a backstory when it never matters anyway? I thought the whole point of it was her being more understanding toward YD when the truth was revealed, but nope a year later on they really have her still hyena-ing BUT WHAT ABOUT MEEEEE I DON'T COMPUTE HOW MY SON COULD CARE ABOUT A CHILD NOT BEING HIS. Taekyung swallowed but his throat was too parched, like a dozen razor blades. Better to focus on the immediate then, which was getting up and some water. Then, dressed and perhaps a run around the neighborhood too before dawn, to clear, empty his head full of uncertainty and too many what ifs. Everything else, including the big questions of why always present, were best left for later to be able to get through another day, without them.

After the first shock and YD once more uttering his name dumbly like the braindead, emotionless zombie the writer monkey have turned her into the realtor agent comes into a scene like a still to defused bomb announcing happily that YD is looking to rent here and this tells TK all the not available fucks YD gives about him.Because she is in Seoul, but obviously never gave it a thought to call or check in on him. Which again, I have been saying for a week, given the choice YD would have continued to not give a fuck if he is dead or alive. Kudos to him for not kicking her out right away after THAT epiphany, but he is treating her like a stranger, as he should. But Haneul left her own bomb a stinking one so he allows her to change diaper in the room but leave immediately after that.YD gives no indication of knowing him. TK and I for that matter, do need a sit down to stomach what just happened and how tf she could be here when for a year he could not find her.

Even more so with the way YD just went "thank you" to TK after changing the diaper and left without anything further 💀 I was as stunned as TK was here, and not in a good way. "(After everything) This is all she has to say to me???" And for AJH since he is as stuck in this writing hellscape as his character 24/7 mistreated and disregarded. He does the best with it tho, since his shift from disbelief to hurt to complete anger is well done. But anyway we are supposed to root for this couple to get back together, right? Because right now iam with TK wanting to smash a wall to bits for how foolish I was in loving her/them.

This asshole YD left to check up on the equally shitty bestie in the hospital and I don’t care what plot device brought her into it. Probably scammeritis. Nurse comes in and friendly tells YD that small kids like that are not permitted in the hospital but for tonight she makes an exception bc she is a mom herself. It is time to feed Haneul but ice queen left her bag at TK’s place where our man does what he should have done months ago given this asshole at the other side of his regrets.
