Yeah, he is getting "weirdly" emotionally invested where he really did not need to, especially regarding her ex. Like, they are both the definition of hate at first sight and "enemies for life" TK just saw him and hated him 😂 and ofc all the more when he finds out that guy is Yeondoo's ex. And it is not just because he finds cheating detestable and morally wrong (shows in his strong reaction regarding it when he was accused of it due to the car. So i am looking forward to the whole witch/bastard liaison reveal aka SJ/JH having an affair🤣) but because he did this to *Yeondoo.*
Their ice-rink date was very telling too that he likes being around her and is being awkward/flustered with her beyond his bad skating skills, especially given it was so early on. It is all very subtle with some fugitive glances and smiles (like his face *brightened* when he thought he dreamt of her while sick) and open body language. Also he is always first when it comes defending her, no matter if they still have an unsolved argument between them, or not. He takes her side, worries about her and checks in with her way beyond keeping appearance. Tho he is also good in masking it all at other times, treating her like a stranger...which is really more like "flew too close to the sun and fears to burn" reaction in truth, heh.
And he already went from "ugh i have to share my living space with another person, yuck this is the worst." (eps 10) to "why is yeondoo not home? I am worried, must search for/seek out my (not) wifey" (in eps 14) in the matter of a few weeks haha. Ngl, i love (t)his current husband arc 😆
I just wish/hope for there being more unsubtle/obvious signs of him having feelings very soon though. Aka gimme whipped for wifey Taekyung pls, haha.

Glad you like it thus far. As for the romance, tis a true slowburn but you are close to the arc of them sorting out their differences and confess/kiss. After they get together, it is more of the supportive kind in the background than grand display of affection. But you never doubt they love each other, as they communicate well and check in on and are always there for each other. They help each other deal with everything and also... heal.
There is also half an hour in either eps 11 or 12 (can't remember rn) where we see their dating era and being cute as heck/in love, before all gets serious again and stays that way till the end credits, haha. So see it as your chance to take a breather 😁
