It's pretty obvious that he's meant to be a shitty person lol
Don't ask me tbh π€·ββοΈ I just tell ya what i saw (and then blocked, lmao) Thought it was a troll at first, but nah they were damn serious with their full "Dr. Seo doesn't have it easy either being in this marriage" spiel.
Or he could be the biological father of a child they adopt? That seems less crazy then a surrogate.
I would love to see them having an adopt storyline, since they are as snobby about bloodlines as joseon granny. So that would a great opportunity for them to learn and grow, and would make them understand TK better. As well as being more nice to Jinjja too as soon the truth is out (also bc the kid won't be an heir then i bet)
But ngl, they are the couple i am least interested in because they are such pretentious, opportunistic assholes. My main interest is how their story ties in with Daesung, but that does not mean much tbh xD
I see i have reached infamy in this comment section, hahaha. Idk why i am so into this old school soap opera nonsense…
Fingers crossed it stays in that vicinity. Since it is high time for the leads to get more quality time together, so their relationship can grow/advance further. Instead of them having to react to every whimper and/or temper tantrum of two-faced toddler.
I feel there are two camps here when it comes to where JS will be post-divorce, black and white. Either on her own as a strong independent woman(TM) or in a relationship with Roy Kim. But here is a thought: Why does it have to be an "or" why can't it be "both" ?
Like, it is obvious that it is no good idea to throw herself into a new relationship immediately after the divorce paper are filed and through. JS will need time on her own to process everything and to heal, to learn to live on her own. And also to focus on her residency, on her very taxing/demanding job as a doctor. However this doesn't mean she needs cut all contact with RK. They are colleagues working together in the same hospital and also (could stay) friends that support each other. No need to change anything here for the duration of her residency. And i think this is where the drama's direction will go as well. With them staying friends and collegues and then maybe start dating after she has finished her residency. This was what they talked about with RK mentioning an opportunity may open up (for him) too, heh.
Also as someone here in the comment section already said so aptly. JS had been in a loveless marriage with an emotional manipulate/abusive trashman for decades. She deserves to experience the kind of love that comes with acceptance, respect, honesty and affection without conditions and limitations by a man who openly adores and supports her, for the first time in her life. RK embodies all of that, but this should happen on her own terms and point in time of course. Hence imo there is not a reason to apply an "or" between those two things, but maybe a "later."
This was a weird weekend for the show, with a bad episode (15) followed by a great one (16).For 15, the SeJin…
I see i have reached infamy in this comment section, hahaha. Idk why i am so into this old school soap opera nonsense drama that i write paragraphs of recaps for every episode, but both is surprisingly fun despite the SJAF (haha, i love this name) Can't promise to do it every single of its maaaaany weeks, but i will try to show up as often as possible for it.
Here is hoping that the writer does find some consistency spoons in his drawer, so we can break the cycle of bad episode saturday at long last, lol. I am excited to see how they gonna bullshit their way out of yet another "overheard crucial details" cliffhanger (+1 for finding another narrative way to jenga their tower of lies, writer) Or if they... don't and fess up. (But i don't think this person is capable of keeping that info to themselves, so yeah.)
i hope till ep 25 we already get a kiss scene or smth
I am already happy if we have moved to the "having fallen/feelings for the other and being aware of it" stage by then. Since the latter is still amiss and will be a struggle to achieve as much i expect them jumping in the river of denial, heh. But of course i gladly take a confession/kiss whatever too if possible. I just have learned to lower my expectations as so far any signs of attractions/feelings etc between them had been very subtle. π
I hope someone can explain what is going on with the Uncle because many viewers seem to be anticipating one thing…
idk, actually. There is also the plot seed (harhar) of him having met his old flame who will start working in the restaurant as part timer and who called her kid after getting the job. So maybe he is gonna be responsible for a lot of family grow on his side with not one, but two kids lmao. Definitely think the story with the inlaws leans toward surrogacy since the husband seems to be the one who is having the problems.
If i have learned anything in my long time on the internet it is that there is always that one (1) person that bends over backwards to defend the worst trash-character in a show/book/movie etc. Without fail, like clockwork this person will appear and choose the weirdest hill to die on π
I think the father of the twins ,the horrifying bastard is Kang Ho himself :β -β !Also, was Kang Ho really a…
Yes. Destroyed innocent's people's lives without hesitation for his own advancement and "revenge." Possibly a murderer too (since it is never refuted onscreen right after and too much trust from the viewers that his behavior does/did not warrant is needed to believe he faked it)
And it is all brushed aside in favor of the wholesome journey to heal and find himself again, never to be mentioned again (probably)
Lol how she is susprised that he only thinks about power... Yeah what a shock you son is now a cold robot after…
IKR?
mom: Emotions are weakness. Power and money is all what counts in life, son. Do everything needed to gain it. ML: is destroying innocent's people's lives without any hesitation to gain power and money at any cost. mom: *shocked pikachu face*
As i was saying, weirdest hill to die on. π©π©π©
I mean he told his ex that he wanted to try to express his feelings more often, and the man is indeed losing no time doing so πππ
