Tbh the reading lessons are thought to be the redemption arc for a very out of touch old bat and she gonna eat a huge humble pie during it. I still expect that YD will probably get to know her secret somehow, but instead of using it against her she is gonna private tutoring joseon granny just like her mother did. They will bond this way and I expect YD to be gran's fave by the end lol.

She is the typical archetype of "disapproving parent/family member" toward the lead(s) that many of these family dramas have. But these are also the characters who love the FL/ML most in the end 😁

I think the reason he drinks is probably because YD told to hurry things along to end it between them, so they can both return to their old life. But now with feelings involved, this old life is horrible to him now without her in it. I think the next episode(s) are the YD realization of feels arc and thus SJ is needed for jealousy, lol.

I guess we are going to see the leads split at first (in latter episodes in the 20) which leads to them realizing how much they mean to each other/want to live together. Or both come to terms with their emotions earlier and stay together, but since this is a drama... there is probably not enough conflict in that route. Idk, we will see. But narcotic clown is just a buzzing fly around them, not more. Never take her too seriously.

Also i am still giggling at how tk rushed through the phases now when being stuck in "this life is not for meeeee let me out" for so long before haha. Like, he moves right past the "huh this life ain't so bad" to "this life is horrible without my wife in it" in 70 minutes tops xD

It is a good, wholesome family drama. Really very much slice of life and just a little sprinkle of makjang if at all. No scheming villains either, just disapproving parents (mother) who are/is growing soft for FL later on (and ML stands up for her even against his mother.) Well done character arcs, each character learns and grows to their better version in the end, plus the kids are adorable. The leads are probably the best parents i have seen in a kdrama too. Like this is some good good parenting they are doing with the kids.

Yes, he is paired with Shin Haesun, aka the reason why i started watching this drama, and they are adorable af in there. Such good chemistry and character growth between them.

As i was saying by now he very much wants to time travel to suckerpunch his past self for saying all this shit. But oh well hindsight is 20/20 I guess😂

Also Idk why but seeing the leads fall for each other in a family drama feels more momentous than in your average 16 episodes. Maybe this is because we are going to spend so much time with them (still) and seeing their relationship grow further. past that falling for each other moment. (It is also why i like the leads in five enough and secondary pairing Yeontae and sangmin so much ngl)

Also not to be all I Told You So with TK falling first and so hard his ears are still ringing 😂Okay given the last preview i was fooled and thought it would be YD, but nope, my man Taekyung does not disappoint and kept course to arrive in his "whipped for wifey" era haha. And that even earlier than thought.

Not sure who needs to hear it, but Cruella tomorrow is only there to spur Yeondoo into action, so to speak. TK is long since in "head empty, only yeondoo" mode, delulu beluga is just an extra (as in a bg actor) around him, like a buzzing fly if you will. Same importance to him rn, really😂 But this influx of feelings is probably also the reason of him drinking bc it is too overwhelming to deal with rn for too many reasons and a major one of it is that he thinks it is one-sided with her insistence on ending things soon. Because they both really strike me as "idiots in love" aka both of them thinking that the other person would never consider them romantically,. So having feelings for the other is wrong, must conceal not feel as it is not meant to last etc.
