Yeah, could not have said it better. It is a bit frustrating to watch of course, but also very much relatable when you put yourself in her shoes. I hope though we will see her moving on soon because we are reaching the halfway point soon and the plot has yet to get plotting lol, but i guess that is Slice Of Life for ya.

May I Help You (don't let its perky romcom facade fool you, it is full on melo romance, lol. Dealing with a lot of grief, trauma, loss (of loved ones), guilt, and how to move on/past all of it afterwards)
Just Between Lovers (trauma ridden leads trying to move on from a life-changing tragic incident in the past, finding peace in each other)
Thirty But Seventeen (Still 17 on NF. Lighter in tone than the others, but the leads, especially ML, deal with a lot of trauma/ptsd and both with a life of standstill. Very wholesome watch that likes to rip your heart out here and there to stomp on it, lol.)
A Piece Of Your Mind Imo, comes closest in terms of slow burn story/pace, its ethereal mood/tone and themes of moving on from a life pressed on pause.
If You Wish Upon Me - Hospice Setting, fulfilling the last wishes of the residents. ML is an abuse survivor who finds a place to belong there for the first time in his life in joining their "genie" team. Somber tone with a cute romance in the bg. JCW's best acting performance to date, imo. Gye Re is best soft boi/kicked puppy mix like DJ is, and should be protected at all costs)

Yeah, i mean FL has created an image of herself that she is flawless/can't do wrong, so ppl in the drama are gloating now in her failure. Messed up, but also close to reality with how people react, alas. And Bo ra is much more a mess and flawed than her image or her own pretense in the first eps showed. As we usually are as humans, so i appreciate her handling her own situation poorly, even if she made some questionable decisions. It is, after all an opportunity to learn and grow to do better next time.

And as said calling her pathetic is way too harsh, because failure happens and grieving the (perceived) loss is also only natural. What would be weird if she smiles through it all and brushes it off as tho nothing bad happened to her. We will see her rise up from it, but it is a process and part of the story progress. Hence i don't get why ppl expect this already to be the case in the first four episodes when we have 10 more to go, lol. I do hope the leads are gonna have way more scenes together in the upcoming eps than what little we have seen of them together thus far tho.

Holo Love has some frustrating bits and eye-rolling clichés but overall it is/was a good watch that did not overstay its welcome heh. I watched it after Gaus Electronics aired bc both dramas have the same FL and i wanted to watch some of her other works.

Oh also if you like this show, give Dr. Cha a chance too, maybe. Kinda sad how overlooked that comedy/lighthearted netflix drama is here/internationally despite its high ratings in SK (11% for the latest eps)

It is kinda funny how this drama has double digit ratings in SK, but is totally overlooked here on MDL. Especially given it is a netflix kdrama that tend to do better by default normally due to accessibility. Glad to see more comments than just 2 per week now here at least lol

Nope, complete independent from it and standalone story. Tbh the supernatural elements are just a minuscule part of the drama (and the reason for FL's power is explained just right in the end.) It is all about grief/death/loss (of loved ones), supporting each other, healing from trauma and survivor guilt. So pretty much rooted in reality unlike the dreamlike, fantastical Pushing Daisies.

(i would love to see a remake of it tho. This show was too ahead of its time back then)

I love how the supposed SML is always framed as the ML in his scenes, like he gets all the cool scenes. First the ambulance ride where he saves a guy, then the wall climbing workout, the dramatic surgery and in eps 3 we have the long shot of him walking down the hospital halls with all the women swooning in his wake. As i said before he is more a ML than that rotten husband will ever be, heh. Hope it stays and continues this way, tho.

Also i love Dr. Cutie's cheeky and sardonic way to piss on (and piss off) Seo In Ho. The many ways he keeps trolling him and is always siding with Jung Sook is one of my favorite parts of the show. He is, in a way, a representation of the viewers, since Roy hates that asshole as much as we do and is never shy to show it 🤣

EDIT: And now that motorbike scene in eps 4, holy moly. The ML saga continues, bless.

Yeah, lets hope you are right and they don't do an 180 halfway thru. But as said i think the baby is safe bc its parentage is an excellent source of conflict the writers surely want to use in the later episodes. Since we have like 40 eps of story yet to go and all, lol

hehe, imo this drama gets better with every episode, since it has a good narrative structure going on. And yes, the ending of episode 7 was so well done; acted and edited, both.

Give it a try for yourself instead of relying on internet strangers' very questionable interpretation and take on things. As it has been said here that post is overly harsh and lacks any empathy for the characters, particularly FL.

Why are you emphasizing her being a dating coach so much? What has this to do anything with her dealing with her own breakup poorly, when it is ALWAYS a whole different story when you are personally involved in it? What a garbage take. Reads exactly like some of the online comments in the drama FL got after posting her apology, as it also lacks any modicum of empathy.
