I came for Yeontae (Shin Haesun) and Mingsan but i definitely stay for Songtae and Mijung. The leads are adorable in their own way and i love each of them as characters. Generally i appreciate how grounded and wholesome the drama is (thus far), like the screeching and makjang levels are so high in the currently airing The Real Has Come that watching this family drama feels like vacations for my eardrums lmao

i love that no matter how much have Taekyung and Yeondoo have grown into a scheming team in the span of a few days slithering their way past the impending doom of marriage, they are no match for their mothers teaming up. While I don't like YD's mother much, she is quite the force and amusing together with TK's mom. In laws, indeed 😆

I know it is deeply ingrained into korean culture, but it still boggles my mind with how much they took the filial duty up to eleven in this drama, ngl. Either way can't wait to see YD standing her ground. About time the temper we were promised shows up, heh.

Also not Taekyung forgetting pockets exist and EATING the marriage/"housemate" contract when his sister (?) unexpectedly enters 😂🤣

it only took 11 episodes for someone to finally talk back at the old bat, lol. Yeondoo is the kind of person Taekyung needs because she will be always siding with him, instead against him to satisfy joseon granny's pathological need for control 😎
