He is like a hyperactive and confused puppy all mixed in one whenever he sees her and gives the term "aggressively in love" a whole new meaning. The most funny confession i have seen in a kdrama for a long time, too. They are such a hoot and love them. Too bad they don't have so many scenes together like the other lead couples have. Feels a bit unbalanced tbh. Definitely my highlight of this drama, next to the LEAD leads story and romance.

too bad that TK getting YD pregnant in an one night stand is just a made up story, or else i could make "fertility expert" puns about Taekyung 😂

Haha, i nicknamed sejin a goblin because it is the fantasy creature known for being obsessed with money/riches. So it fits too well to her hahaha. YD's ex is more a cheating, misogynistic trash-dwelling troll tho 😂

Yeeeeah i keep forgetting about the cheating thing bc it was in the beginning episodes and then played only a minor role anymore. Can't wait for it to blow up in that goblin's face later on.

i think the kid will be safe bc it will be a huge catalyst for (family) conflict later on that the writers surely do not want to miss to milk every drop of makjang out of, lmao. I hope we are at least gonna be spared of the amnesia trope, because yikes it feels so out of place in the story here. Also hope that we will get some resemblance of peace and quiet for an episode or two (at least) to let the leads settle down and actually breathe (us too, please lol) So they have time to press pause and, well, get to know each other without chaos looming at every corner lol. Though i think them cohabitating will inadvertently give ample opportunity for that ... and maybe even first feelings to blossom, once they don't have to worry about their future every second. I like how they keep it slow not only due to 40 eps being left but also it is more realistic this way than to have instant love between them for no reason at all. Makes the faking to , "oh no, i am love" progression all the sweeter too heh.

Anyway, seeing how In Ok is one of the few people with actual common sense in that toxic family and in the whole drama in general, i don't think she will end up hating Yeondoo when the truth comes out. After all the baby and YD have saved her son from a horrible marriage trap and life and he has found/will find his family and home with YD, be happy with her for real. What more can a mother wish for for her child? i think while maybe disappointed at first she will also understand YD's reasons for acting like she did. She knows too well how hard it is to raise a kid alone in such a prejudiced, conservative society such as SK, especially as single MOTHER.

Plus, i think she will love the child all the same in the end, like her son will. Heh. The rest of the family (and outside forces in form of the ex and goblin) is gonna be much more a threat to the leads' family happiness than Lee In Ok ever will be, tbh.

Seeing how the writers let the marriage registration fall through (bc it also would solve too many problems in the plot too easily) i actually think they plan let the leads marry for love down the line.

Also yes to people saying YD will win over joseon granny. Seeing how she stands up to the old bat instead of cuddling her toddler-like whims like everyone else in this house, i think she is send on a long journey to become granny's new favorite. However reluctant that will be, at first, yeondoo will gain her respect through giving her contra. We all know it is direly needed for balance with all the asskissing they have otherwise going on, lmao

I really hope, as i said before, that the message of the drama is that family is more than blood. It can also be chosen as ML, especially with his own background, did with accepting YD's baby as his own. Sure it is also his "You get free out of marrying a witch jail" card but there are more than hints already that he's grown attached to the kid already and that will only increase in time (particularly when loving yeondoo comes into play later on.)

I hope they will show that patchwork families you choose for yourself/as your own are as valid instead to apply a "magical fix " and letting YD go through the horrible experience of a miscarriage, only to make the next child his "true one by blood." Would be really icky and messed up message too, like... a miscarriage is not like having a cold that you overcome in a week and then exchange the dead baby with a new one fix. It is deeply traumatic and needs time to grief and heal.

Also seeing after how much Taekyung had suffered by the hands of his step family due to "not being their blood," i hope the writers let him break that cycle with the (yet) unborn baby instead. Let him do better for them, so the kid has all the love and acceptance needed, and does not go through the same experience like their parent did.

But maybe that is asking too much of writers who prefer to hold screeching olympics every damn episode lmao. We will see.

I love the leads but Sangmin's evolution from calling Yuntae "Psycho girl he would never date" to telling her "You are much cuter when you are sober" in a span of a week or so is what i am here for, haha.

Haha, same. There is no way he can ignore her for for three months as their "housemate" contract states in the preview. Not only bc yeondoo being yeondoo, it is more like... watch him getting progressively more upset when she isn't greeting him coming home etc (as in her doing as the contract tells) because he grows so accustomed to her being with and around him. A slippery slope into "whoops i am in love" tbh 🤭 (and i am here for it)

1) He had a crush on her in highschool and she toyed with him and his feelings before crushing them beneath her feet because she is so much better and of higher status than the mere adoptive son of a rich family. And mocking him for it in the most cruel way.
2) Her lie of having taken care of him, while in truth she was off not giving a damn about him being sick. And then taking false credit, using it as boast in front of his family.
3) Her lie about infertility, saying she plans to trap him for life with her through having his kids.
4) Her openly gloating toward him that no one is gonna believe him no matter what he says toward his family, that he won't have a way out of it now. That she is gonna marry him at all costs.
5) her trampling over any of his feelings, objections and attempts to reason with her for her own personal gain.
6) Her using him as a stepping stone into a "better life" aka having access to money and status of the family and openly admitting that to him.
7) Her manipulating everyone around her, playing the perfect wife to be, (and always siding with his fam/joseon granny and against him) when he knows how rotten she and her motive in truth are.
8) Her gloating before the wedding telling him to live a happy life together, which honestly is a thinly veiled threat of her using her new status to her advantage, while making his life miserable
9) Her playing the poor downtrodden victim afterwards in order to still get what she wants. Or as she called it "the tragic heroine" lmao

Should I continue? Lmao. Like even the first thing would be already enough for any sane person to avoid her for life, but her ignoring his utter discomfort and any of his opinions in the matter for her own advancement, on top of all the lies and manipulation? Really a no-brainer.

There are even daily kdrama that have 100 episodes or more 😁 but yeah they are basically Korean soap opera heh

He was panicking over having to live with her and I think it is due to him living alone for so long already that he really needs some time adjusting to it. Not to mention it is not like a male bestie he knows from school for decades moving in with him, but a pregnant woman he got to know only a few weeks ago and there is definitely some awkwardness bound to happen with him, even if he doesn't really see yeondoo as a romantic partner yet. And while he gets along with her just fine, it is indeed a big difference between meeting up with her at and for a certain time, and having her around him 24/7 🤭

Also if this is awkward for him already, just wait till he had his moment of realization (aka "oh no I LIKE her" ) and see him flounder. Gonna be fun 😁🤭

Yeondoo is good in that, sneaky. They don't know that they have been fooled/she threw shade, but she totally does that. It is hilarious how it flies by their heads when she does it. Or her fake fainting/crying etc, and temper😂 That family has finally met their match and she is/will be totally on Taekyung's side, too. He has finally someone (outside of his mother and younger sis) who got his back (and he hers in return), plus her family like him too. They both can and will be, no doubt, the much needed support system for each other.

Oh, yeah TK has accepted the baby already, which is huge given he had like zero time to let all the insanity that happened around and to him sink in. Everything unfolded in a matter of a mere few weeks, not to forget. I wish he (and YD) could get a breather and we in effect too with a calmer, more laid back episode. But since the writers just love to turn everything up to eleven, i doubt it will happen anytime soon, lol. With YD having a niece already, I could imagine that the writers go "It is a boy" with her kid to "complete the family picture." Then again a mini yeondoo would be hilarious too :D But too early to tell what that "gummy bear" will be. Maybe soon in another checkup with her very own personal doc tho, heh.
