It is more about this stupid "scandal" where he was perceived as rude by the public and producers and thus struggled to land further projects. He did well in kokdu but the script was just ass lol

Tbf, it is still a family weekend drama just with much less bloat (hopefully) which I like tbh. It's just a pity they already reduce it with this weekender since I would loved to see KJH for 50 eps 😁

He is, such a great actor with a vast range but sadly his career went awry due to that stupid non scandal a few years back. So it's basically a reset thingies for him to get back a foot in the door and endear the public to him again. In an interview he talked about how he was out of work for quite a while and thus focused on martial arts to keep himself busy and fit. Thus this gig is actually a good start over point for him.

It hopefully has tighter writing and less drag thru the fewer eps but we will see. Not a fan of ML's char description (that slept with her out of pity bit) but I'm sure KJH is able to sell it well, even if his char is an ass in the beginning. Hope his char has to grovel a lot before FL gets together with him tho, heh.

Yep exactly, if you look at their relationship dynamics shown it was always her who was taken care of by ML, emotionally and otherwise. From what we had seen she did not give back in equal parts, if at all, didn't listen to him etc. He was a guy who did support her in every possible way until he'd reached his breaking point and could not do this anymore. And now two years later she wants him and all the emotional support and be taken care of back no matter what he says about it, back bc it was comfortable for her and only that counts. Also from what we see she has no friends either so her clinging to him is also about her being lonely... Which again is not ML's problem but she makes it to his, unbidden. 🙄🤮

Or, and here is a thought, hear me out: some people simply did not like this show due to its lack of any substance in its plot, the leads lack of development without learning from past mistakes and the extreme repetitive elements in its story. Pointing out these flaws this show has doesn't make them to 'haters' just because it's popular and you think it's the best thing ever. Really that easy 🥴🙃

I'd wager to not trust their opinions even beyond that, bc mdl gonna mdling, and it's better to get your own picture of a show tbh

It's from the weekend drama 'live your own live' with Hajun and Uee as main leads and couple. It's a family drama with 50 eps tho but I loved it despite all the stress the story gave me in between due to the being such cuties haha

Should have been a 12 eps drama at most. Writer is just running in circles to drag this dead horse over the finish line since eps 8 and it is boring as hell outside the occasional good humorous scene and good lead chemistry which distracts from the piss poor writing/execution of its plot tbh. It's a 7/10 at most for me.

It is sharing that fate with From Now On Showtime from 2022, which this show reminds me most of, ngl. (FNOS has a more wacky, comedic tone at times tho) Both are very underappreciated imo
