The king is a cutie so i don't care for the SML. I feel bad for the SML only when the ML is a jerk to the FL and…
Same and imo we had much more green flag, nice ML's the recent years than outright jerks (unless you wanna count the tsundere char archetypes here) The trend has rather flipped on its head lately with SMLs being the ones who disregard FL's boundaries, agency and wishes tbh. So I'm already grateful that SW is as unassuming as he is with his sad looks at her from the distance lol
Yeah and it is about to happen. Sin won gets his own love line but not with Sorang. The girl he falls for is afaik a queen candidate and the actress already casted for the role.
? You said it yourself, that you suspected it, so you are proving, that the twist makes sense. So I don't get…
I mean fair, but this just means you personally was good in picking up clues along the way the writer left in and thus suspicious of the character from the start almost, while I for example should have expected it to happen but this character lulled me in with their unreliable narration of events that I ended up didn't suspect them. So while it may not have worked for you bc you picked up on how off something was, many others didn't. So overall it did work you were just better in paying attention to things others might have missed/lulled into false security or narrative (like me) π
Episode 15 pre-release is something light and cute. Taehee is invited to dinner, along with Vincent, into the Baek family home. Not DJ's dad going "You have passed as my son-in-law" toward him and casually goes oh i know you (both) are dating when asked what he is talking about. He totally snitched on Vincent this way, tooπ€£
season 1 is available on viki and viu, season 2 is only on viu. I'm guessing season 2 will eventually also be…
Yeah that is where i am planning to watch S1 in the next days (viki.) Guess i either have to wait after that for viki to pick it up, or seek out the infamous alternative sites, heh. Thanks for the info :D
I plan to watch this one can you tell me how's the romance part up till now?
No problem. The drama gets quite heavy/darker around episode 12-14 but now where we are at the resolution of the main plot in the eps, tomorrow i think things will light up quite a bit and put more attention again to the characters (side and main) in general than the (now ending) plot to give them a fitting sendoff.
Main couple stays together throughout and i expect a focus back on their romance/scenes together as a much deserved relief and reward after all this tension in the past two weeks, where it took a backburner outside of them supporting each other. We will see.
Oh boy wait till you watch ep 10. But the mentally disabled guy isn't really a bad guy as I've seen from episode…
i haven't read it but people who did said so, yeah. I find it weird as hell why they would change that aspect for the drama as it undermines the central themes of self-discovery and growth in the story.

aww, no prob. But yeah it is distractive alright. I notice that with the youtube shorts that i watch more often which are the small brother to tiktok basically. Like i scroll and when i look up the next time, it is like 3 hours later haha, so i get you there. Also probably better i don't use tiktok in honest then hahaha

Aww that is a bummer but tbh you are not missing out on much with not having tiktok. I only use it rarely for kdrama clips and have no account there to begin with. π
Lol, I can understand your frustration that people don't give a shit about that borefest 'may I help you' for…
Jesus fucking christ, why are you so pressed that you write this childish dissertation/essay of "My drama is popular and thus better than yours" just because i dare to have a dissenting opinion on it/them. Gosh, imagine you rude small-minded child, people like different things. Wow. Shocker.
But oh, yes you got me. Your words have hurt me deeply, i am not sure how i will ever recover. Gordon, bring me the fainting couch π
Back into the ballpit with you, kiddo. Or rather there is a place under the bridge reserved for you. I don't care as long you fuck off.
I think you may need to write another discussion/explanation for all the people who saying that the twist at ep13…
hmm, i am tempted to revisit the drama tomorrow for it and skip thru unrelated scenes to watch all of that character ones, as i also have to start writing my review before it is fully over (and adjust it then if needed depending on ending) It is for me one of the most strongly written kdramas I have seen (and i have seen over 130 by now), which could have been better if the script didn't need to be adjusted due to Itaewon, because it would have meant far less Chungha nonsense (since she was written in more prominently after that tragedy.) However, i enjoyed to peel back its layers of writing/the handling of themes, particular grief and its depths/effects, its character writing/development (minus Chungha) and attention to detail immensely. It's approach to writing resembles more a classical build story as the one you find in books (while not underselling the visual storytelling/clue aspect) than a typical kdrama script thrown at you at each corner. It never failed to tickle my writer's brain in a good way through its coherent structure all these weeks.
As said before, imo the plot development works since the character had been an unreliable narrator from the start with their pov and because their motivations are more than mustache-twirling evil but very human in a flawed, twisted way. I also can see the story work with the road not taken by the drama if you know what i mean (aka w/o incorporating the turn of events) and it is in the end up to personal preference/interpretation which you prefer. I just hope they will tie off the story with a nice bow and give it a satisfying ending. My final rating depends also on how much we still get to know about Dongjoo as she had taken a massive backburner character-wise in favor of Taehee and his family story the past two weeks.
Struggle to pick back up RR bc it is boring me with the business talks. And AoS is one drama that everyone seems to love but i find it to be utter nonsense with little to no substance, like a turd you spray glitter on to make it look pretty, lmao. Thus i haven''t nor ever will pick up its sequel (thankfully only a few weeks to go until it is over and everyone will go back to forget its existence in favor for the next shiny thing)
Love May I Help You and The Forbidden Marriage atm tho and could not care less about the rest heh.
