Title May I Help You Spoiler
so ep 13 -what a ride....r they saying that have ahn killed the child
Seeing HA's brother woke up when DJ touched him after the drama made CERTAIN to hammer down its rules of how sinners cannot receive her blessing and be woken up is a pretty *biiiig* hint that he did not kill Joonho. Otherwise it would have refused to work, like it did with the mother last week. And it is very likely Hae An has fooled us all via being our resident unreliable narrator in the flashbacks.

lol, they are always super-fast in releasing the latest mihy eps and thus my go to, even without subs (i understand…
Yeeeeean i am not sure what to think about that particular plot twists, but as far as i got it, HA's brother told DJ that he did not do it or something. And considering that DJ's abilities worked on him, means he indeed did not kill TH's kid brother, bc otherwise he would not woken up in that otherworldly funeral parlor. I need context as i understood too little of the details, but it is always the quiet/nice ones huh? Too bad i liked him, so i am not sure what to think of this sudden shock plot twist tbh. If he really is a psycho than bravo, he fooled even me, and every of the characters.

But on the other hand, we only ever got HA's pov in the flashbacks, so he could have been an unreliable narrator from the get go, fooling us viewers into believing his story when it went completely different. And he deleted the CCTV footage from the accident, not to forget. I hope they have a good reason and explanation for taking this way/such an u-turn this late into the story, instead of it being a plot asspull for a "gotcha" moment 😬🤣

It features the death of a toddler/son of the team leader's ex. Not particularly detailed as far as i can tell, but the grief and anger and everything is very raw. Not the easiest watch.

Gosh i miss the first 30 minutes of happy dating in eps 11 all the more now, tbh. Can we go back to that soon, pls? 😭

I don’t get why episode 13 is already on kisskh but prime doesn’t have it yet
lol, they are always super-fast in releasing the latest mihy eps and thus my go to, even without subs (i understand about 50% by now thanks to months of korean learning.) I think the subs take a bit maybe, hence prime is taking its sweet time.

TW for episode 13 tho:

You can watch eps 13 here, no subs yet tho:

https://kisskh.me/Drama/May-I-Help-You/Episode-13?id=6275&ep=113667&page=0&pageSize=100

As expected it is pure crisis mode for all the characters involved, particular for TH it is as crisis as crisis as it gets. And here you see the difference to early eps TH to him now, with Dongjoo at his side. While he falls back into his unhealthy coping mechanism (which are HARD to shake, lemme tell ya) of avoidance (runs out, turns toward alcohol) after the truth is revealed, he is still reaching out to DJ not much later and talks with her about it, seeks her for solace. He is processing instead of avoiding, even as hard and painful as it is. Around 30 minutes in, and it is very angsty so far, every character is suffering in their own way atm 😭

Ahh I love this comment. It's like the characters were having a contest for who can be more unlikeable. I swear…
Fr, tho I never ever had seen so many assholes in one single drama and not since (inexplicably) finishing it. Must be an achievement somewhere I swear. At the end I was rooting for horde of white trucks of doom to take them all out. Sadly it never happened 😭😂

OST is amazing, soft watch but thought the last 2 episodes fell apart and the FL felt like she was phoning it…
Well he has got the better role now with his character in "May I Help You". btw. First time I am seeing him in a drama in it and i am quite impressed by his acting/range. So i ought check out his other works now too (love and leashes was great, if a bit 2nd hand embarrassing haha) Also with "May I Help You" he finally got away from the idol typecast in dramas too, if his bio is any hint regarding that heh.

Fun fact: I looked at the dates to complete the timeline list and the wedding in episode 10 is on 4th September 2022, which means DJ/TH started dating on that evening. With half of episode 11 set a month later to reach/use a certain anniversary for the plot means the montage we see are just moments from the first month of their dating era, heh. And they know each other for (almost) five months now 🥰🥰🥰🥰

(time passage is weird in shows tho. Either everything happens in a span of a few weeks (like the first quarter of the drama) or they jump ahead weeks which doesn't feel like they have passed at all lol)

It should have been a healing drama with the leads slowly and steadily understanding each other with a few other…
Summer Strike definitely needs 2 eps or so to get going but Im Siwan plays such a cutie ML in there i couldn't help but being smitten by the drama from the start haha (he really digs the oddball characters who run a lot, i noticed haha) FL is a bit of a doormat at the start, or much, but she comes into her own during the drama's plot and is just a good person overall. They are really cute together and the whole show is just relaxing and chill with good vibes and traumatic bg (ML) mystery bits. My fave watch after May I Help You atm (but forbidden marriage is already very close behind as i find it funny as heck with enough angst bits to give it depth)

Oh i heard of avenger club, and good things at that. Will definitely pick it up one of these days. Good to know you like it.

i completely forgot to reply, sorry friend, so i am doing this now. since i stumbled over this comment days later lol I have put he is psychometric on hold for the second time now. For some reason this is a drama i cannot get into and only watch in snail's pace, like Healer and Happiness, i keep un-holding and on hold in my ptw list lol. The curse of the dramas with the letter H, i guess haha

I can recommend Revenge Of Others, Summer Strike (very chill with underlying themes of healing and cute introvert lead beans) and Forbidden Marriage that just started if you like comedy/romance in a tongue in cheek joseon era setting. (finally a new joseon chaos couple after mr. queen, haha) Unlock my boss has a cracky plot but i like the ML so far so i stick around even if nothing makes sense there (like in good job it is a drama best watched with your brain turned off lmao) I am also watching My Holo Love atm, which is basically a genderflipped I am not a robot drama and it is a decent sci-fi/fantasy romcom with themes of overcoming traumatic past watch.

This plotline is long since over, but since it keeps coming up lately... I need to say this. I can ABSOLUTELY not wrap my head around the attitude of how it is okay to keep continuing invading your ex partner's personal space, their home, their place of work, disregarding every single thing they say, their wishes, their discomfort and agency in general in this matter. But them telling you no, requesting you to stop what you are doing/leave them alone, and drawing lines, repeatedly in clear words and manner is what makes them a jerk and bad person?

Like, independent of the partner's gender (tho it does have another note/dynamic when a man is doing that toward a woman ofc, given society's history of violence against women. Hence i bet if it were genderflipped ppl would react very differently to it) no matter how hurt/sad you are (about how things in the past went or whatnot) or how much you want something to happen... if the other person involved, no matter even the reason, given or not, says no and gives you clear and irrevocable refusal to your request and wish of things to occur -- repeatedly, at that-- , you better damn well put on the big boy/girl pants and come to/learn to accept and RESPECT their agency and boundaries in it all. (Especially when it comes to something so intimate and personal as wanting to resume a broken up relationship years after it ended.)

Yes, even independent of how unsatisfactory their reaction and reply may be for you personally. Because this is the point where you cross a line, or even several ones, set by the other person and you disrespect their autonomy, thoughts and feelings in and on this matter. Your hurt feelings, which are valid to have btw, are however not their responsibility to deal with, but your own. Especially after years have already passed.

No means no. In all cases, man or woman, no exceptions.

Same, lol.

When the titular AI has better social skills than ML 🤣 I like him though, it has been a while since i last saw a tsundere ML in a drama and his sulky"I don't caaaare" protesting and declarations while obviously caring a looooot amuses me.
On Summer Strike Dec 13, 2022
Gosh what is it with SFL's lately? First in "May I Help You", where SFL constantly attempted to pull ML back into the past bc this is where she was happy (but he made the most tragic experience in his life) while ignoring every of his wishes, boundaries, words of rejection/objection. She is unable to move on and thus he is/was not allowed to either. (thankfully resolved since a few eps, but still)

And now this asshole of JinYoung is doing the same in this drama. Different circumstances and characters sure, but same toxic method and motive of SFL's. They treat ML like a possession, not a person and want them mired in misery. Because there they are easier to control and/or want them to be miserable along with them, no moving on, no own agency or plans allowed that does not include them first and foremost. Honestly the worst kind of character, bc such energy vampires (https://psychcentral.com/blog/how-to-avoid-being-drained-by-energy-vampires) exist irl as well. Yikes.

Maybe because I don't speak Korean but I havent noticed db's stutter at all has anyone else?
My guess is they switched it out for anxiety, bc anxiety is more visually compelling/more impactful to show (sounds bad but makes sense for a drama/tv show as it gives the actor a lot to work with physically, in scenes like that) ,and to avoid being insensitive/offend people with fake stuttering, maybe.

Ji Young is one of the most hateful characters ever.
Yeah there is not a single shred of joy, empathy or friendliness in this woman and she wants to drag down everyone down along with her. It is the worst kind of people you could meet and be around with, tbh

some people here on internet have said that he might have a condition called Alexithymia. look it up, it makes…
Yeeeeah it really fits, especially this part, given who his father was and all:

"Additionally, this condition has been noted in people who have experienced trauma, especially during early childhood. Trauma and neglect at this stage may cause changes in the brain that can make it difficult to feel and identify emotions later in life."
