i like the drama so far, it is quite different. Nothing special but good enough to kill some time. But what ruins…
As i see it, episode 9 would have been the perfect ending for the drama when all her lies and cowardice finally come crashing down on her, and he tells her to fuck off. Like he should. Alas we are going to see them reuniting in the end, i bet. Cool cool, because their relationship was so healthy and full of honesty to begin with. What a great foundation for a new start of it. 😒🤡
i like the drama so far, it is quite different. Nothing special but good enough to kill some time. But what ruins it for me a little is how FL is a complete asshole who failed to properly communicate her disparate pov on her relationship with ML with him. She used him/broke her promises, lied to and ghosted him instead of facing him once and break up cleanly with him to give him proper closure. Not to mention her ridiculous reason for it overall. What an unlikable, selfish coward that treats people around her like crap and without any consideration. ML deserves better tbh and i dunno why i should be rooting for them to work things out. Wookie is great as always, but imo they really have zero chemistry together to begin with lol. The side characters are amusing tho and how they are all connected to each other without knowing it in most cases 🤣
Ok calm down, why can't I. I waited for this weeeeekkkk! I thought Thanksgiving would be a comfy day for kdrama,…
Can recommend "From Now On Showtime" and "Mystic Pop Up Bar" from the rec section of this drama. They have a similar feel to MIHY, tho FNOS is quite a lighter/more comedy-romance heavy watch than Mystic Pop Up Bar. Both are great to catch up on if you haven't seen them yet.
I believe It would have been better if this only had 14 or 12 ep, everyone has seen the preview for ep 14 and…
Yeah the pacing is really off with this drama and would have worked way better in a short(er) form drama. I actually dunno with what they wanna fill the next three episodes, as all is said and done (almost)
I don’t get it. If it’s Amazon Prime, what does the World Cup have to do with airing a Kdrama ?
it airs first and foremost on MBC which is the drama's home network. Prime just has the international streaming rights (which is also not valid for all regions), so yeah. Thus they are depending on MBC's broadcasting schedule for streaming.
I am a little baffled at the comments seriously 1st at their perception of the drama and second about their perception…
Oh thank you. Like, i was going to say they did move on, they did date other partner but they remained fix points in each others life all the way through. So the feelings, buried as they tried them to remain, never really went away and thus always resurfaced in different degrees here and there. They had settled for being friends however and a huge part of it was the fear to destroy their decades-long friendship, especially from YR's side. That is why it took her so long to arrive where JH already was emotionally, especially after near-losing her to another man/her marrying her ex. Life is messy and so is that drama tbh (which honestly could have been better executed narratively, but oh well.) It showed how important correct timing is for taking such a huge step/shift in relationship, and for these two to find it took two decades where it finally aligned for both of them. Long term friends to lovers happens iRL too, like it is probably not an everyday thing, but not as alien as yall think it is.
Ofc this drama aired, while the one i actually wanted to watch (May I Help You) was postponed due to CorruptCup…
OH THANK YOU FOR NO NEEDLESS DRAMA BULLSHIT, SHOW. Okay, maybe we can count the last scene a tinsy bit. Then again i am always there for the "accidentally revealing their love to everyone, because the person they love got hurt" trope. Good shit. And it is not as tho Jae Hoon was ever subtle about it to begin with, especially not in this episode, lol.
Chae Ri continues to be the worst person in this drama, of course. I'm so over her sociopathic bullshit with no character development whatsoever. Throw her in the trash, along with that fakeass con man gaslighting and using Ji Wan (and no, i don't mean John Jang here)
Unlike JH who is the happiest person on earth the next morning, YR is a bit awkward after their first night together. Which is understandable given the big shift in their dynamic from longtime friends to lovers that brought. I first thought she would have a change of heart later on due to that, but thankfully it did not happen. She simply needs more time to settle into that old and yet so new relationship than he does. Meanwhile Jae Hoon is completely unsubtle with his feelings for her and basically the personified hearteyes emoji every time she was remotely close to him, haha.
Preview has her even confessing her love for him, so we are tentatively going into the right direction at long last, lol.
Ofc this drama aired, while the one i actually wanted to watch (May I Help You) was postponed due to CorruptCup 2022 (or WorldCup as FIFA wants you to believe) I take what i can get re: airing dramas and their shaky schedule atm tho. Caught up as well and while it was a little too drawn out the leads really sold the last scene of eps 12 well and i am kinda happy they managed to get together before the final moment of eps. 16 xD It was/is all a bit of a clusterfuck, but i guess that is the brand of this drama lmao. Like many i like the chef and webtoon artist most, yet i also stick around for the leads, heh. Miss me with that asshole of Chae Ri (not the good/interesting type of asshole either, because she is just evil and without any moral or regard for people around her for the heck of it) and the weird makjang-ish plot regarding the reality show lately tho. Hope SFL finds her dignity again too she buried somewhere 6 feet deep along the way, lol.
Now off to episode 13 and its expected needless drama that somehow involves the leads again, i am sure. Because this show hates it when its characters are happy for more than five minutes after all.
it is what i call the worldcup this time around, because FIFA and Qatar. There are a million news stories as to why, look it up if you want to know more :)
i understand her desire to just let go of all expectations people might have and live freely so that its not that…
Saaaaame fam, tbh. All the logic(istics) of what you need to live in that building and it lacks (heating, electricity, bathroom facilities etc) aside, I would not stay five minutes there out of fear an evil spirit would eat my face 😱
Is this a prime exclusive? I can’t find it anywhere
Yeeeeeah it is. alas (explains also why it is so overlooked by people) I have to watch it on dramacool as well tbh, since it is also not available in my region, even with prime (I should stop skimping out on a vpn lol)

Looking forward to finally see Kim Jung Hyun again (not so much FL, but w/e)
