Also I think PCH is unto the mayor, I doubt he actually trusts him. Especially after Jihoon told him he wasn't…
Yeeeah that basically happens in the very last few minutes of episode 10 tho? Including Changho calling him a son of a b... in a 4th wall breaking way/into the camera. Did you miss that? ๐ค๐
PCH is THE Big Mouse / Big Mouth. -At the end of episode 1 he called himself as the most despicable person. Why?-Episode…
I still really want the unreliable narrator theory to be true, bc it is such a fun and underused narrative device. Aka Changho playing us (the characters AND viewers) all for fools like he called us into the camera at the end of episode 6 ๐
Guess in today's episode Miho and PCH started plan to catch do ha but in preview looks like they both were in…
This is why i love this drama, there is no clear winner in this push and pull cat and mouse (pun intended) game and it stays nerve-wrecking all the way thru. Really reminds me of Vincenzo a lot in this regard.
I love the Changho/Miho power couple so much ๐ญ (seriously i want more already married couples/main leads kicking ass and taking names with brawn and brains in kdrama instead of the whole will they/won't they romance shtick only)
Okay a lot happened the past episodes as i was catching up to speed, but i am still giggling over Big Moustradamus,…
Ngl, with the flair and style Changho went about exposing them in the trial has a lot of the beeees, beeees trial craziness in Vincenzo haahaha. I love their elaborate "surprise bitch, you thought you had seen the last of me" clever team plans a la Vincenzo so much ngl.
Super slow start of the drama and hard for me to keep my focus on it, since a lot was infodump of the worldbuilding/TT…
ML's journey from "oh god that crazy chick again, abort, avoid, let's never meet again" over to "I wanna wife her up and have a baby with her" is never not hilarious tbh ๐คฃ
I'm at ep 05 and I don't know if the dead face expression of the ML are going to change or notUsual people their…
Lol, real talk tho: He is good looking and thus super popular but i don't think KSH is that great of an actor tbh. Have seen better, by far, Not a huge fan of Seo Yea Ji either (just personal preference not regarding her acting skills), but she outperforms him in every shared scene, tbh.
Same here ,I left it at 11 it's been a year now ,I have not yet picked it
Yeah, tho i am always thinking that at this point i better finish the drama, since i have already put so much time into it. And it is not as though i don't want to, it is just not my type of drama i am in the mood to watch atm. So praised be the on hold list, lol. (Try to keep it slim tho in freeing one or two dramas from it once in a while, and then finish them)
With its focus on the stories about ordinary people who have died/suffered, it reminds me a lot of Tomorrow without the mythical/supernatural parts. I know this drama came before the other, but it is the order how i watched it, so don't @ me, lol. I like how watchable MTH is, it has a cozy feel and does not much brainpower to enjoy. Doesn't mean it is not complex but first and foremost it's story is very human and about people like you and i. I think this makes the drama so approachable and beloved. There is no arrogant CEO as ML, nor a world to save, just people doing an important job that gives insight to lives that ended too early and all their hopes, dreams and what is left behind.
The uncle really annoyed me at first, but i like how he has a whole arc of character progression instead of magical character shift like kdrama loves to do that with "bad/rude etc" characters otherwise. He learns and grows along with the others in his team and ultimately becomes a better version of himself. Or at least i expect it to be the payoff when reaching episode 10, heh. The actor playing Geuru does a good job as well tho coming relatively fresh from EAW it is hard to not compare it to that, since both dramas also use the same visualization of thoughts of the person on the spectrum. But still, they are ofc very different people and no two ppl on the spectrum are the same, yet watching EAW before it gives me a better understanding as to why Geuru acts like he does. Also I love the fierce loyalty and protectiveness of his friend Namu, a tree in the storm indeed, as steadfast as she is with her friendship and support for Geuru, heh. Like EAW i don't think it is the bestest drama ever made, but (so far) very much enjoyable. And episode 5 broke me, ngl.
Btw, not sure if i should hate or love MTH for kicking me down the trauma/crime scene cleaner rabbithole tho, because ๐คฎ my poor stomach and eyes haha
also did the girl friend piss anybody else off? No, just me? Ok.
I actually love her protectiveness of and fierce loyalty to geuru, reminds me of Sunshine Suyeon in EAW ๐Plus she has every right and reason to distrust the uncle at first.
Super slow start of the drama and hard for me to keep my focus on it, since a lot was infodump of the worldbuilding/TT rules/characters, but ngl the ending of episode 2 had me ๐๐๐ and i am really looking forward to watch the rest now.
(amusing to see Lee Je Hoon in two so very different roles since i am also watching Move To Heaven on the side atm)
