You can still give it a try to learn about autistic persons. I know nothing about them previously but now i got…
Why are you so damn rude for absolutely no reason? OP only asked about the disparate opinions that exist about EAW (and what the truth is) and how they are professionally familiar with autism. But you act as though they have insulted your family? Like, chill please.

Oof, the cringe is strong with this one. Like i am constantly reminded that it is a 2014 drama but some things in the first episode have aged so so very badly. And i don't mean the washed out colors of olden, non/barely hd days, but the content and things i am supposed to find amusing. Like FL getting ghosting by her bf of one year, bc he is an immature pissbaby incapable of communication or an ounce of honesty or decency in his pathetic body to end things with her face to face. What a fuckboi. And this is played for laughs, particularly in the beginning. Ugh.

Trying to power thru the first episode to see if things are improving since i always preach not to drop dramas after episode one, but if i am honest it is a struggle.

Damn, I must have watched some other Min Woo in some different show.
I actually wish we would have gotten the Min Woo they are describing, at least he would have been (a) slightly better character/written 🙃

I really enjoyed the first 12 episodes (until that stupid ending scene with Jung was the sign we had entered clicheland,…
I don't follow booktok but lol, booktwitter is terribad as well. Bc no where else you can experience a near live meltdown of authors whining about that their mediocre books are actually called mediocre. Oh the audacity of people to critique media after you publish it for everyone accessible to buy/read/watch/whatnot. How dare they not cherish the ground they walk on instead, lmao.

"A well written structured storyline is the bare minimum but ok." Yeeeep and yet, and yet so many fail at this very basic requirement, alas. I mean i am just a puny fic writer in a current kdrana sabbatical year, but i have seen shit, man. And horrors done with words and to words, of hobby and published authors, both *thousand yard stare*

So what do I watch now?2521 and Business Proposal, and Forecasting Love and Weather let me down with their endings.I…
Depends on what genres/themes you like tho. These are my all time faves in a handy list, so maybe there is something in there for you as well: https://kisskh.at/list/47aqzZDL

Many of these shows are on netflix as this is what i started out with last year, heh.

to those wondering what to watch after ena follow up show, mark the show, good job -mystery romance-is a good shout-love…
thanks for the heads up, would have not known about it otherwise. i know ml from Cindarella and the four knights and liked him. It looks overall delightfully chaotic, bless. I miss such a drama that does not take itself too seriously, and just rolls with the chaos and bizarre situations created ever since From Now On Showtime ended, ngl. So i will give this a go, for sure :D

I'm sorry but the cat analogy? Instead of acknowledging her "making people lonely" problem from the beginning…
Lmao, right? It was all swept under the rug, a la "We just continue as we have, no need for change or compromise, because true love will prevail. Fighting!"

Title Good Job
this sounds interesting and delightfully chaotic, tho? I give it a try when it airs, since it is easily accessible as well thanks to viki.

I really enjoyed the first 12 episodes (until that stupid ending scene with Jung was the sign we had entered clicheland, alas) and have still to catch up and fight my way through those questionable narrative decisions to follow. Sometimes i wish i hadn't dealt with and learned about writing and how to build and develop good characters, narrative, pacing, prose and whatnot as much as i did for the past decade, so i could just enjoy a story or overlook writing flaws as much as the next person.

Can't turn off my stupid, critical brain tho that tends to pick a story apart, alas, hence why the dip in quality after eps 12 is so glaring to me. Oh well. In the end, I still love this drama for the enjoyable time i spent with it, but not as much as i could have due to a very weak latter half and its narrative/pacing issues.

Well, it was more like, "LOL, I love you like my pet cat."
GREAT 💀💀💀

(I confess tho, i still loved KTO's smile after she left the car a lot. The way he portrayed Junho's absolute happiness at her words with that and adding a subtle tearing up out of relief was so cute and well done, ngl. I love actors who have mastered the (micro-) expression game.)

It's already confirmed
It really is not, lol. It is just a wish the CEO of the network (?) has uttered and everyone just ran with it as though this is an official confirmation of S2 and everyone involved aboard already. PEB's agency even was like "I heard through SNS (social media) there is a second season of EAW????" So yeah, nothing is confirmed contrary to popular belief. Could happen, but it is far from a done deal atm

I'm sorry but the cat analogy? Instead of acknowledging her "making people lonely" problem from the beginning…
this was so fucking weird and out of place... like nothing is solved basically they just decided to shrug and be like "sadtimez over now, cats are great, lol" and went back to where they started for the sake of wrapping up with a happy ending. Because you know there were only 20 minutes left and they wasted three whole episodes with this whole utterly useless breakup nonsense where the actors stared sad at each other/the camera. They could not have used this airtime to handle it in any other way, nooooope. Yeah, not a fan, to say the least.

"I want to be a fool for once" ok dude lol
He is not a fool, he is a whole circus. Everyone who calls this a redemption arc has never seen a redemption arc, plain and simple.

Given how many ppl still think that ppl on the spectrum are unfeeling robots incapable of love/loving someone,…
Yeah agree here. I was okay with Junho being only there as the normal guy LI at first, but the longer the drama went on the more apparent became the lack of any character bg, traits outside of nice, and dimension of Junho which is a disservice to KTO's great acting throughout. They really did gave him so little to work with and he still did the best with what he was given. Would have been much better if we had got to know Junho as a person outside of Youngwoo tbh and given their romance also more depth with additional buildup and such, but nooope. Same with any other side character remaining more a cardboard cutout than three-dimensional characters, but it is especially apparent with Junho who is supposed to be a main character, after all.

If there ever is a season 2 i certainly hope they flesh out the main and side characters more than giving them 2-5 traits and call it a day.

This show has one of the blandest romance I have ever seen in kdramas (and ive seen a lot). Wouldn't have missed…
Given how many ppl still think that ppl on the spectrum are unfeeling robots incapable of love/loving someone, it does serve the important purpose to showcase they do love and deserve love like everyone else... but it could have been written/handled a lot better, particularly in the latter half.

The part that came out strong really in the finale episode were the scenes between WYW and TSM and the siblings…
Unrelated but it always trips me to read the romanized versions of korean words, lmao. (I only use hangeul while learning korean so seeing the words spelled this way always looks weird to me, haha)

Also i agree, that Jeju trip was useless and a waste of time that should have better used for other things in the narrative, as in starting this whole TS sideplot with her brother etc at that point instead to go on VACATION for two episodes. The pacing was utterly messy ever since and never recovered, tbh. And let's pour one out for her poor dad and being severely underused/ignored by everyone, even his daughter for the past episodes, welp

Yes ,, got draggy a bit and some things weren't fully addressed but overall it was better than the rest of the…
Yeah, outside of it i only loved Crazy Love, From Now On Showtime, Tomorrow, Link Eat Love Kill and Sh**ting Stars this year. Everything else was just... there *meh* Poong The Joseon Psychiatrist and Big Mouth could follow if they keep up the quality/entertainment factor throughout.

my man really told wyw that loving her feels like loving a cat 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭
Can't relate as a cat owner, have to pry her away from me more often than not, lol.
Replying to Trinh Le Phuong Aug 18, 2022
yes. LJH told WYW that he feels happy when he is with her (all the examples), that it is like unrequited love…
it pisses me off that they dragged this breakup shit then over three episodes when the resolution is basically... "Lol, I was kidding, let's not break up, k?" clowning with no real resolution to/discussion of their issues. Makes the breakup even more forced and pushed in for kdrama aaaaaangst and nothing more tbh.

(Also Junho never had a cat when he thinks that about cats. Unrequited love, yeah sure gotta pry my kitteh away from me more often than not, lol. Besides the analogy he used here is... questionable at best tbh)
