Did i understand it correctly that Junho/YW got back together in the last ten minutes of the drama with the reasoning being "Lol, you know what, let's not breakup after all..." ? Like sure, cute scene, but pls tell me there was more to this than that. ಠ_ಠ

I mean i am right with you with the rating being a bit too high, but for me, this title of most overrated drama of the year still goes to Alchemy Of Souls. To each their own tho 🙃

I feel it went downhill with the whole jeju plot, the cases and narrative before it were interesting as it highlighted social issues in 🇰🇷 (kids in study hamster wheel, gendered workplace discrimination) but jeju and everything that followed was really underwhelming.

They always remove it before the last episode so it is MdL to blame here

Um, wow these are so many words to express "You are just too stupid to understand the depth of this story" ... when it really isn't. I am good in abstraction i am just not willing to turn into conspiracy guy and find pattern, theories and meaning in the most mundane things this drama presents. Good if you do, but I ain't got time nor motivation/investment to do this, nor do i care enough for it. Since it pretty much lost me halfway through through pretending its plot is deep as the sea when it actually is just a puddle of standard fantasy fare i have seen a million times before. The only difference is it bears a kdrama-ish coat with heavy cgi arms instead of garish anime garb or western medieval armor. Kinda has the standard plot of every w/jrpg ever too, in a way. And that was fun while the fun lasted, but no longer due to the reasons i named above. Tho that is just me, never said you are prohibited from enjoying it just because of my opinion, lol. Have a good one too.

I have it already sitting on a 9.0 instead of 10 i had for it the longest time, but i think 8,5 is more realistic a rating to give atm. Depends how the ending turns out to be tbh.

Oh totally agree here, since i have the same approach with waiting for the ending before investing more time into it. I may complete it either way tho since it i have already watched it so close to the end tho. 2x speed will be my best buddy then lol. (I will do the same with AoS where i have lost all damns to give tbh)
