I enjoyed doom at your service for the leads and their chemistry. Story was rather meager too but I'm a sucker for the US against the world/fate love stories haha. Run on is on my PTW list, heard good things in regards of the leads healthy, mature relationship. Yay for that 😊

It was a nice little drama with some good time travel rules but a lot of (minor) plot inconsistencies. Oh well, still enjoyable to a point (tho the end episodes dragged quite a bit imo) even if the supposed plot twist with that character being responsible was telegraphed a mile and more ahead. Nice watch if you want something quick and with not much brainpower required.

Hard same and you will find FNOS is similar if lighter in tone and more romance-focused, but has the same unique, chaotic quirkiness in humor and characters. So yeah it should be up your alley then :)

Yeah, enough time is spent on the case that it feels complete. Young Woo and the others also go investigate for a case on their own/outside the law firm if needed.

Was just surprised to hear from characters that a few months had passed already when the four episodes feel like days at best timeline-wise, is all. Watch the first episode and you will have a good overview of its format tho ;)

I second the From Now On Showtime rec. FNOS is from the same writer of "Mystic Pop Up Bar", so if you liked this drama/this kind of drama you will feel right at home with it. t has a lot of ghost shenanigans, otherworldly quirkiness, chaotic/lovable leads/characters in a well-blended mystery/supernatural/fantasy/comedy/romance genre mix. But sadly it also flew under (almost) everyone's radar due to lack of marketing/promo of the network and thus got buried under the other kdramas airing at the same day/timeslot. I expected nothing of the show and ended up loving it so much that it is now one of my faves (if not THE fave) from this year and in my top 3 in general as well. More info/things about it:

That is what the on hold list is made for tho ;) Not blaming you, as i find myself in the same position atm. I cannot seem to find the time/motivation to watch the new episodes since i keep getting distracted by other (older) dramas from my PTW list. Oh well, lol.

Saaaaame, but it is so nice to finally have a "I can't wait for new episodes" drama again after FNOS ended and the June dramas I picked to watch all failed to do that for me. I like AoS but it never managed to grab me emotionally, so it is just an okay drama with fun leads for me. I put YC2 on hold last week and even consider dropping it (depends on the ending tho) Also i am growing a bit bored by Jinxed At First where i have yet to watch the latest eps. So Link is really the only other airing drama outside of EAW where i still give a honest damn about the story/characters and make the effort to watch it asap haha.

One case per episode thus far in an episodic nature with the up/downs in the life of WYW being the overarching plot instead of a big major case. But a lot of the casework happens also in the bg. Means what feels like hours in the dramaworld for us until WYW is representing her client in court are actually several days to weeks that pass there during an episode. (Since her boss and mentor mentioned in the episode 4 how she is their team member for *months* already, so yeah)

Omg, you are right xD This is probably also why the plot of AoS feels rather meh/something i have seen too often instead of groundbreaking to me. It is basically the kdrama version of Avatar The Airbender, lmao 🤣

Yes. it is my fave airing drama by far right now. Very different drama/genre from AoS tho, of course. If you want something (kind of) similar to AoS rather, try Hotel Del Luna, Mystic Pop Up Bar and From Now On Showtime for the fantasy/supernatural/comedy fix instead. They are all tens for me but sadly lack whales tho, which you only get them in EAW. 🤣

Along with Shin Hye Sun my favorite k-actress bar none. She is terrific in each of her roles 🥰😍🥰

Personally I never connected with nor understood the hype about 2125 and found especially the second half to be a drag to get through. But yeah EAW, which I loved from episode one, and 2125 are veeeeery different dramas. Hard, if not impossible, to compare tbh.

No problem, HDL is also a fave of mine so i think you will vibe with FNOS then, heh. Lol, the last time i rated a drama this early 10/10 was From Now On Showtime. It stayed 10/10 for me all the way through, so lets see if EAW can repeat this feat too, but i am optimistic 🐋
