I get what you mean, but no drama nowadays is stubbornly staying about just about one thing/genre only anymore. It is (almost) always a mixture of different genres simply to have a more broader and interesting narrative. Hence the mods refusing to add the romance tag to EAW because this is no 100% romcom only is such a silly reason and simply not how dramas work nowadays anymore.

And that ppl finally stop asking if there is romance, when there clearly is, even only after 4 episodes. But yeah I had my one or two weird encounter with mods too already where they rejected things i suggested and i was like.-.. okay if you don't want this drama's page to be improved, be my guest lol. It is especially fun when you wanna add tags for a drama bc as you said... where would you find a source to provide for that to begin with? With From Now On Showtime, for example, i simply provided examples from the show why the tags needs to be added like you did and it got approved (there had been a loooot missing.)

Hence why the process is very damn arbitrary and it really depends which mod your request get. Chaotic system is chaotic, but somehow that fits MDL 🤣I think we need to wait a couple more episodes and then maybe try once more *sigh*

From what i gathered, the joke about the name is a very korean one, so it is hard to understand for the international audience to begin with. So it is not just you here heh, i didn't get it either. Someone down in the comments (or on twitter) wrote and others may correct me if i remember it wrong, that the name belonged to a very handsome and famous actor back in the days, and thus has become synonym with a good-looking man by now? But yeah as said it is very cultural "insider" joke, so to speak.

Umm, the picture had always been there tho, imo?... Which is why we get the whole "You have never been in the large conference room before?" convo between them to establish this and why he brought her there. Plus the law firm name is basically meaning "one sea/ocean" so the large ass portrait of a whale fits the room. No way in hell Junho gifted her that.

He simply showed her something that he knew she would like a lot more than an actual gift, something very meaningful to her. And given her reaction he was right, which in turn portrays his care for WYW to the viewer, and how he listens to her, to everything she tells him. Because before that, we had the sunset scene with them where he asked if she had seen a real whale yet and we get the exchange about Jeju island etc. So yeah while the picture in the conference was not a real whale obviously, it was the next best thing to/for her.

Alternatively, when a partner like this is not available, a golden retriever will also work.... since LJH and a golden retriever are basically the same in this drama ;)

The intro to EAW is only the second one after "From Now On Showtime" that i never skip and always watch, because it is as aesthetically pleasing, and cute to boot <3

(And I have seen someone from the magic factory ghost family has a guest appearance in EAW today too haha)

It is part of the story yes, as dramas tend to genre mix more nowadays thankfully instead to focus stubbornly on one genre only.

It is very wholesome and carefully developed too so far 🥰
