This is definitely the episode where Hajun's golden retriever energy shines, so much is sure 😂 Because TH is always counting the minutes when he can call or see Hyoshim next like the good, excitable boi in love he is 😆(and HS being like "what noooow" when he calls her for the 20th time is cracking me up 😂 She is certainly not used to so much attention on herself haha)

Also things continue to move forward which is great. I feel the show has finally started after the longest introduction phase ever lmao. The moving out plot is moving forward too (pun intended) and the renewing of her model contract makes it possible bc bf of course made sure she is gonna be paid well for it, (the first modeling gig got her 20 million won btw) Thus why i am saying he is using his privilege in the best way to enable her to help herself.

Hmm yeah you are right. Unless they show a pre-party special or some rerun of the last award show or something, LYOL could still air before it, since it always airs on 8 pm korean time. We will see, not mad if not... for the sake of even episode numbers again, but good to have should it air.

I liked its humor and such, it is a cute brain off drama with not much substance but nice to watch. But if i am honest the main leads' chronic non-communication, emotional constipation and FL's noble idiocy really annoyed the hell out of me in eps 8. The eps ended well but it feels it starts dragging now due to said lack of substance in it. The second leads being delulu a-holes and the family one from the worst makjang daily does not help matter too. Imo it is just a solid 7-7,5 drama that lives a loooooooot from its admittedly nice visuals.

I honestly would not mind if we get 2-4 quieter episodes that focuses on character interaction and progression instead to deepen the toxic swamp so i am cheeky and hope the shopping is for appliances and things Hyoshim needs for her new home haha. Would love to see them apartment hunting too (with that i mean TH accompanying HS while she is looking for places, not moving in together, way too early for that 🤣) stuff like that. I am almost sure someone will rain on their parade all too soon bc there are too many shitty ppl in this drama after all 🤣 Also as for your fave pairing, pls pray we gonna see them outside that dingy ass room before the year ends haha. Bc as fun as their scenes are (even if i still dislike HJ), it kinda feels like as if they are imprisoned there 😂 Hope you have great holidays in whichever way you choose to spend it tho 😘😘😘

Edit: The KBS drama awards are held on dec, 31, so i guess we will get just this one "shopping episode" then next week, and it will be also where LYOL's eps number evens out again.

I have long given up to listen to anything that is been said on MDL, tbh. Best thing you can do. Ratings here are just a popularity contest either, they say nothing about the quality (or lack thereof) of a drama.

Yeah things are finally moving forward, about time lmao. The "my hyoshim-i (the "i" ending is an especially intimate form of addressing a loved one, btw) was so 😭 And my fave of this scene, bc you could feel his relief about her choosing him after all, of him not being left alone again. The whole setting of it with its genderflipped "waiting for the hero to arrive" feel and the way he looked at her as his salvation was just perfection tbh. And after a very lacklustre TRHC (mildly put) we finally got a good good kiss too, hehe. This is really where the good chemistry and the co-stars liking each other as friends paid off imo. Ngl, I watched it an embarrassingly amount of times thus far haha.

If you waiting for revenge you are watching the wrong drama. This is a healing drama in which FL finds herself again after having lost her self in work. I think you have the wrong expectations about this drama and FL. She did not face the assistant to get back at her, she faced her to ensure that she is not to blame for her trying to unalive herself. She cried not because of what she has lost but because she was absolved of the fear and guilt that she was to blame for her trying to off herself. Everything else that comes after has to do now with her finding herself and become happy, because within all the success she had, she never was that and forgot who she was. As she said she was working like a dog for a decade and in the end it amounts to nothing bc everyone turned their backs on her. It was all meaningless. Hence why the story is about her finding out what she wants to do with her life now, who she is and will go. It never was about getting revenge, because this is a healing drama.

SML is such a bore but his police colleagues are super hilarious with their gossiping like school girls. "He (SH) looked like an elf from LOTR. I would have walked out holding his hand too if i were a woman" 😂 And not them watching the "love triangle" like a live kdrama hahahaha

FL continues to be awesome with her That man or none" attitude. Guuurl knows exactly what and who she wants, which is why the eps 5 ending with whom she will choose to go home was the most obvious one 🤣

Did you watch eps 25? Lot of progress here with HS drawing much needed lines. Also i disagree that Taeho is pushing her, just in a different way than creepy cousin. On the surface it may look like it but the model thing is his way of helping her regain her lost savings (i explained it in a post below more in detail) Sure to keep seeing her at work then would have been a nice side effect but it has not been his main motivation. And he DID stay back at the time, did not call or seek her out, which HS then did not seem to want either. That their paths continued to cross again and again after her telling him off was simply due to him being her client and then being invited to the workshop by her boss. Before deciding to go, he sought her out and ASKED if it is even okay if he joined. That is the opposite of being pushy.

And then we had the trip where they spent time together and their feelings for each other solidified as they got to know each other better, which brought us to where we are now. In no way has Taeho ever pushed her like TM did that she felt uncomfortable or unsafe like with TM. She'd always felt comfortable around him, in fact. The only scene where i did find Taeho a bit too pushy was the one in the underground parking lot. He really should invited her to lunch or dinner in a nice restaurant to ask her for clarity instead to corner her there. But then again, the scene also shows that he is a flawed character too with his bits of impatience instead of prince perfect, which is much more interesting this way. And you have Hyoshim smiling at the end of it which showed she was happy about starting to date him and that is the only thing that counts.

it takes sometimes a long while to get it approved. It depends where in the queue it lands and when a mod is reviewing it. So you need patience here. You get a personal message when an edit is rejected otherwise it will be applied. So pls wait a bit longer as submitting the same change over and over is just additional work for the mods :)

It has been changed now, but you can also always do that yourself and submit an edit. It gives contribution points which gives coin (mickey mouse money you can spend on buying virtual flowers for your fave actor then) and unlocks some features, like voting for tags etc. I do quite a bit of tag crawling for example, so i have around 500 points by now.

Hmm written preview says Taeho faces opposition to renewing his gf's modeling contract but episode preview itself shows TM agreeing to it. So what is it gonna be now? Lol. I'm happy the slush fund foundation gets stomped into the ground tho, so Taeho is safe from its/his asshole fam's bs. At least for now.

I would not call it prejudice as much as bad clichéd writing with second leads being obsessive and delusional. I would LOVE to see more normal second leads whose life does not revolve around either main lead and their unrequited love. It is just boring and annoying. So i can't blame ppl for feeling negative toward second leads as 90% of the writer don't know to do anything with them other than "obsessive dude/gal) alas

The writer casting her usual collective amnesia spell after one good episode is my current One Fear™ with this show ngl. But hey we had HS proudly announcing to her bf that she is moving out in the preview, so hope springs eternal heh.
