On Taehshim front, which is my specialty we had in eps 29:
Domestic/marital bliss with growing ust between them while grocery shopping. Like omg the scene where they kept feeding each other in the middle of grocery store with the worker who provided the samples increasingly side-eyeing them for EATING EVERYTHING and them snapping blushing out of it when there was an urge to kiss... which is often with them recently haha. Hajun's embarrassed shopping cart walk after he apologetically put two packages of the article they sampled for free in their cart omg 😂
HS cooking curry for them/him, which is a wonderful callback to TH telling her that he wished someone would cook him curry and sit down with him for 15 minutes ten eps or so back and them being like a married couple doing normal stuff like eating together. HS thanked him bc without him she would not have known a life like that which was so cute and ofc TH using the chance to be cheeky and tells her if she is really thankful she should tell him to not go home tonight but his shot was shot down by her hahaha. He just really didn't want to go home haha.
But then he did with a super-adorable scene in front of her apartment of him being so happy she promised to cook him curry every time he wants, he is going in for a peck of her lips. Them holding hands and taking felt 25 minutes to say goodnight bc they are such goobers in love, aww.
Hyoshim also wants to submit an application for college to continue studying sports marketing (?) but is hindered by the requirement of taking an english test. Well, proud husb...err boyfriend is proud upon her telling him this, and also is her english teacher now. Which TH gladly does bc it only means to spend more time with her, heh. I bet this is gonna be hilarious bc those two always are golden together, no matter what.
This all is contrasted with TH's search for the truth about his parents and just silently judgin.. err watching TM in the background upon his return. Sadly no one seems to be cooperating with him until the end with the nurse telling him all about what happened to his grandma and who is responsible for her kidnapping. So living in this house of hell gonna be FUN for TH, even more than before. But as one say,keep your friends close but your enemies closer. No wonder he was eager to pick out furniture for his future shared marital home with Hyoshim tho, lol. I would love to be prepared in that case too. Ofc knowing it all this leads to the typical kdrama solution whenever there are (mildly) crushing problems: drinking yourself blind, lol. Hence wifey... err girlfriend waiting for him to bring home the missing ingredients for their curry is worried about his AWOL but faithfully waiting till she falls asleep at the table with the textbooks he promised to help her with. Bi-polar haha. It is more like him having a serious f-around and find out side on him, and regarding his parents i get why he acts how he acts. He is VERY protective of the people he cares about (of which are not many left sadly) and thus the find out part is never fun for ppl f-ing around with them. I like that he has those layers but also that not is beyond/beneath him to be silly and let loose with Hyoshim, for example. He has proven that he can be serious with her whenever it is required and already has been. (TH is actually very good in adapting himself to her mood/needs and genuine with it) Him knowing the limitations of his own abilities or what he is willing to give workwise is not being a man child tho. Like him i like to do my job and well, but then go home to have some fun/free time instead 24/7 work and responsibilities. If he does not want to be responsible for all of Taesan or something like that, should it come to it at some point, bc he knows others are more capable in leading such a large company (bc he was never trained in these things after all) then this is a valid, mature choice to do and he should be allowed to make. Like, this is not the Joseon era and he is not the sole heir in line for becoming the next ruler after all, lmao. However that all does not cancel out him having a right to get to know and investigate what happened to his parents and be suspicious of his more than shady fam members being up to no good. And yes, this includes the sudden marriage which in conjunction with the tv live report about the accident looks more than sus and baaaaad for everyone involved.
Either way, Hajun plays both sides and the in betweens of his character so well. And then at the dinner table he goes "here (at the head) sits the mother (her), then pointing next to it, "the father" (him) and cheekily counts the four empty places left, "our children. " Adorable and amusing alike aww. I am not surprised that the guy who never grew up with a family and only saw his parents to their death two times a year is yearning to create his own family, to have a place to belong. I am just surprised at how faaaast he is going haha, but it goes to show how serious he is about Hyoshim too. Like, ready to spend his life with her, serious <3 HS was a bit flustered but did not object, so yeah :D
