No prob, it seems my korean does make progress after all despite me not learning as much as i should lol. Hmm, i did not catch the last part but i know that TH updated future bro in law about the things he found out and Hyosung did not want to have a part in it (said I forget i heard that in the end) but i have no doubt that he will come around and work together with TH then. And i bet in the end, after things seemed dire as we have to make it appear the baddies win etc, Hyosung surely gets a big promotion that will help his fam financially so much.

Oh in regard of HS:

Well, after TH was gone, she did confront the gremlin afterwards and thoroughly at that. Aka that she likes TH and will continue seeing him no matter what she says, that she isn't her mothers husband and has her own life/won't come back, that she knows gremlin simulated being sick just bc she was bored and wanted company. Things like that. (it was a long scene so transcribing everything is difficult haha) The distance definitely gave HS a new better perspective on her manipulate momster and this is also why she looked at her show-crying with disdain and urged TH to leave more than once when she was rude to him. HS is 10000% done with her mother's manipulation and shitty antics and thus has applied a zero bs tolerance policy with her. It is sooooo beautiful to see. It was TH who urged her to visit her mom formally bc he doesn't want to anger any further and now wants to "do it the right way, so Hyoshim can be more comfortable too" But HS was hesitant about that, understandably.

Also the greedy troll asking about TH's job and how much he earns was so unintentionally funny 😂

*HS bristles, TH calms her down*
TH: To put a number on that is a bit...err- 😅

Kudos to him that he did not lean into that part to impress mother gaslight but it was to be expected as he already knows how she is after stealing 100k from her own daughter, so yeah. Still i cackled so much during that scene. 😂

HS running into cousin dude had nothing more a purpose than giving him a "woe is meee what could have been" angsty scene. They just exchanged small talk, awkward one at that and thats it. Like two people talking about the weather and asking how the other is.

The two-three big obstacles in the main couples way are now HS' fam but Taeho will handle them well and win them over 2) Hyoshim's dating a client conflict and boss finding out/firing her, which is the big one actually and has break up potential 3) grandma opposing and/or Taesan bs blowing up.

i listened to the "confrontation" between Hyosung and Taeho again and he wasn't telling to stop dating his sister, but is a) worried he is not serious about HS/playing around as "a rich dude" b) doesn't believe TH knows how hard HS had it thus far and wants her to be safe (when TH was front and center consoling her and giving her the confidence needed to break free) c) worried that being involved with a chaebol will put her into the crossfire and let HS suffer more. Valid concerns as he does not know HS' side of the story and how much TH has helped her. I hope they talk soon but without any "break up" bs, pls.

TH was surprised but kinda delighted about the news (bc he likes HSung a lot) and also tried to make clear to big bro how serious he is with HS (ties in with gremlin telling Hyosung that "the guy she is seeing intends to marry HS, in the preview) but HSung remained doubtful. He was more adamant about not listening to what TH has to say about Taesan as he wants no part in helping future bro in law, at least not yet. I liked how when asked for a reason why TH wants him to help him he is like... you just told me you are HS' older brother, who to trust if not Hyoshim (and thus him) Aww. So unlike the screechy shrew later on, Hyosung was pretty reasonable. And i believe it all will bring those two closer in the end. I like their bromance heh, bc both could need a friend (as does HS but she still doesn't get scenes with Mirim, unfortunately)

TM is however complicit in all, Just went back to eps 9 for an edit and wow dude did not even bat an eyelash at the news of his grandmom being confined by his own parents for three frikkin years, and even THANKED the ppl there for "taking good care of his grandmother all this time" including hush money. Yikes.

For completion's sake, i judge THee just as harshly for treating grandma like her personal extortion piggy bank for years instead to do something humane with that information, which is why i never will like this character either. (The whole fam is as rotten garbage just as much as HS' is, just in a rich, callous way.) But TM actively buried it for the sake of his parents or/and the company, and worse, did not even give a fuck when told. The end does not (always) justify the means. And nothing does justify what they did to her. TH's reaction when talking to that dude at the temple is the only sane, human one i have seen in regards of the kidnapping and illegal confinement of MH thus far (aka "this is not what a human does" THANK YOU)

I am from germany the land with zero kdrama on prime so vpn'ing the process to actually use prime video once in a while for them is a wild goose chase on its own. You have to search the title of the show in prime video if i remember it correctly so it shows up as "included in prime" instead of "not available in your region." The above link from MDL does not work for that you have to take several detours and it is a bit of a pain tbh ugh

Oh i don't mean LYOL here specifically :) To watch this show i am using my real region as the plus pass is just a north america thing, i noticed. Here in germany i can watch pretty much watch all shows just with the standard pass. Just noticed that my vpn is detected whenever i choose an european region, but it works flawlessly with any us server, which is weird. It is the only streaming service that outright detects my vpn (surfshark) no matter the settings and refuses to play any vid then. D+, Netflix, amazon prime all work flawlessly with it but viki lol

Plus for some reason viki does not save my watched progress in a show anymore since a few days, even if i turn off vpn and all the extentions i use and empty cache etc It has worked for YEARS before that ugh. Just seems to be a firefox problem bc using brave it works again even with vpn on (USA region.) So weird.

I think we can forget about the cousins ever becoming buddies again and this is how dude's villain arc starts (or continues as he has been shady all along) and thus will support the efforts to incriminate Taeho to get him out of the way.
