Yeah the pacing is seriously off, like for example why did they spent a couple of minutes showing an old school vid of woori singing? I mean nice,and kinda touching to let her dad see that, but not when you only have 14 eps to get the whole story told lmao. The pace is so weirdly slowed down atm that i fear they will ffw thru a lot of the rest. I guess even the pregnancy, kdrama timeskip style lol

If i remember it right Michael in the US version also went down a pretty dark path which led to breaking up with Jane before he got his act together and they made up and married. I suppose they will omit last part in the korean version, seeing we are nearly halfway thru the story and FL/ML did only have a handful of scenes together thus far... if at all. 🤨

CCW is definitely never jealous when Seul Hae speaks with/of her sunbae cop and childhood friend, nope no siiiiir🤣 At least this is what he wants everyone to believe while acting like a pouty scorned hubby ;)

And if i remember it right, SH was also slightly jealous of the idol in episode 5 :D

Welcome to the club and you are preaching to the choir here. I have yet to see anyone commenting here that they hate the drama/acting/story etc so yeah (outside of the one "eps one is boring" comment maybe), and this proves it is as good as people make it to be. Since knetz is full of positive comments for the drama too.

Sadly it is way underappreciated by ppl, be it on MDL or elsewhere, sigh. Tho at least i noticed a small but steady increase in the # of watchers each day here lately. So yay for small steps lol

Yeah it was a defense mechanism, aka "i don't need anyone and no one can hurt me if i keep ppl at arm's length." His wish to buy a solitary island and live there early on was pretty telling, tho forgotten further and further the more he spent time with future wifey(tm). Bc underneath all that bluster, protesting/pouting and uncaring facade he is a big warm-hearted dork and adorable cinnamon roll 🍥who wants to be a part of society, help ppl and be loved even if he has no idea *how* most of the time xD I love that SH noticed that change and commented on it in the last eps.

That food preparing scene was so damn cute and he is TOTALLY the doting husband type (the way he checked her for injuries, all panicked😭) but probs also the kind of guy who needs to be pampered thru every little cold since he is like dying/very dramatic when sick i think, haha. It is the adorkable duality of CCW which i love, ngl. Magic/shaman badass to protect the people he cares about (read: Seul Hae) and big pouty baby at the other side😁

(And while such ppl are probably pretty exhausting to deal with IRL, i have *such* a soft spot for that archtype in fiction.particularly for male characters being big softies. )

Oh the challenge was definitely to prove his love to OHB regardless. Unfortunately for him, JY was going all in with the pineapple amount on that pizza (which he commented on) hahaha. I dunno if he knows but he had been quick witted before regarding GTS's whims, so i guess he has a hunch since that tmi list comes from him, after all. Either way i found it such a cute thing to do of GTS. That dork is so in love haha.

Hmm, i really hope she will use her fanpower for good instead, to balance out all the anti-fan, stalkerish and revenge fuckery the other characters are planning. Plus I hope they show not only the negative side of fanculture and instead using Da Hye as a part of the "good" fan-side. (turning her evil would be really trite tbh) But we will see, sigh.

oooh same, the angst came really quickly after one episode of happy couple. Normally it is only starting around episode 12 or so haha. I want more cutie scenes too, but alas xD

Exactly, while dramatized bc well kdrama, this is reality for many celebs. Especially in korea where fanculture is really extreme. I mean just look up "Sasaengs" to know what i mean. Here is a good example:

As this drama is basically a 101 of the whole k-entertainment industry, of course they also show the dark sides of fanculture (anti-fans, stalker, creepy sponsor ladies) which are sadly part of being a celebrity, especially in korea.

I know the drama took a turn into angst(tm) but can we talk about how Taesung ate Han Byeol's favorite foods as a challenge to himself even tho he actually HATES mint chocolate, crispy food (?) and pineapple pizza? Like that is true love right here, bc even i would not eat pineapple pizza for my bae 🤮🤣

And i love how it got Da Hye's superstan spider senses tingling that something is up/wrong with him, haha

I love this dorky cinnamon roll so much🤩 For someone seemingly so very self-absorbed, he has little regard for himself (that scene of him saying he is always the problem in past and present was heartbreaking) but is all too ready to share everything with FW (future wifey) haha

It is just the romanized version of the hangul name of the show, as in how you pronounce it. Which in turn are just the adapted loanwords from english "crazy love", as normally in korean it would be 미친 사랑 or something similar

Because they are pros at backpeddling and denial, and each of the other thinking it is one-sided. Classic idiots in love, but with an added 2k yrs old history. At this point i do wonder if we even get a confession (without backpeddling) and a kiss before episode 16 😂
