Just a brief cameo as the director of the celeb news website (magazine?) where FL's best friend works. Said friend reported untrue facts about an actress and thus the director got swarmed with phone calls/complains. Friend is called by her boss (Jin Ki Joo) and has to apologize. It was just a minute of her appearence, if at all, but i still squinted and wondered if it is our beloved Seul Hae and yep, one google search later confirmed it hehe. (If you wanna see it for yourself it is close to the beginning of eps 11, around the 8-10 minutes mark if i remember correctly)

The writer's last drama "Mystic Pop Up Bar" upped the stakes too toward the ends, but all the characters (except baddie) made it to the other side and got their HE. So i expect the same here tbh

I rolled my eyes and sighed at that part. Such an overdone cliche of terrible kdrama parents.

Yeees, so so very wholesome. I love love LOVE how their relationship is portrayed and progressing. They support and assure each other whenever needed. Who would have thought that GTS is such a good bf who notices when something is amiss with her, and with HB the other way around. They talk about their worries and fears and are there for each other. Such a cute, good and healthy ML/FL relationship with open/honest communication in a kdrama. We love to see it 🎉

Yeees, so so very wholesome. I understood even most of it upon rewatching. Seems my obsessive streak of kdrama watching the past months is slowly but surely going to pay off 😂 Okay i also actively learn korean, but hey kdrama watching takes up a lot more of my time than language learning does tbh 🤣

tbh, i think this should go into a discussion/forum post since a) it comes up again and again and b) for better accessibility and so it does not get lost in the comment section. I may have to compile on for the ghost box complaint too, tbh.

it is my first drama i watch with him and he is filling in the Kim Jung Hyun sized hole i have felt since his hiatus nicely. Aka yay for really truly great acting abilities of a ML in a mixed-genre drama. I missed that since Mr. Queen (tho Crazy Love was great regarding that too) Love his microexpressions and physical humor (the pout and pouty walk never get old) and ability to switch emotions as the quick, sometimes chaotic pace required. He gives the character charm and an adorableness which other less talented actors may have ruined to annoyance instead.

I definitely plan to pick up Forest once Showtime is over (pun intended) to see more of him (CITT is not my cuppa, so yeah)

-- GTS struggles now with salty food thx to salty witch 🧙‍♀️and Da Hye's superfan senses continue to tingle as he is curt when questioning his food choices. Ex manager smirks at seeing his reaction of not eating and leaving, feeling triumphant and revenge going well.

-Super wholesome scene of CEO and Yoon coming into his dressing room, gifting him sweets bc he did not eat well at the cast lunch. HB is the third who comes to him bringing his fave food and it ends in cuddles and kisses. I just love his support system, so important, especially for someone so famous as he is.

- the kippeum and Do Soo Hyuk ship seems to be ready to sail more and more. Her visit in the lawyer's office was hilarious since his colleague started flirting with her and was like nope and shut the door on him. She either was sued or was suing i honestly did not pay attention to that part outside of the flirting lol.

HB returns the necklaces to salty witch and like the snake she is she whispered HB's ear that she ain't meant to last and it will be over soon (her relationship with taesung). She starts to have doubt afterwards and just in the moment Taesung comes thru and invites her to a camping getaway to the ocean/beach.

-very wholesome scene during their camping of him trying to cheer her up with jokes and eventually succeeding as well as him reassuring his love for her. As far i understood he told her of their first meeting and the impression she left on him/what it meant for him. And that he had always liked her and won't ever give her up, not for fame or anything. She is really touched and they hug.

- Ex Manager plot gets rolling as Taesung gets sent a picture of a starforce employee pass, meant to shake his trust in his agency as the face on the pass is blurred out. Thus everyone could be his antifan trying to harm him. Taesung visits the agency, suspicious of everyone there as the message intended to make him feel. He shows the message to his hyun manager Yoosung and they briefly talk.

- Hyun starts to remembering stuff about ex manager a bit later on as he talks with HB. They go full investigative mode, slowly piecing everything together. We love a smoooort team and conflicts not being dragged out.

- Do Soo Hyuk and Taesung's bromance is a go as TS follows Soo Hyuk into his apartment as he seems to struggle to stay home alone atm. There is banter and bickering going on between them. I think the lawyer managed to take the antifan cafe offline and/or legal actions being taken for which TS ends up thanking him?

-There is also a bit of stuff going on with TS's mom, and the Yoosung/Park Ho Yeong triangle/relationship, but i didnt pay attention to it, lol.

-- We see that ex manager has used Yoosungs pass for the phone message to shake Taesung's trust in his hyun and destroy his so very important support system. Ex manager is caught by Yoosung and a fight ensues. Meanwhile, on his way to leave his appartment, another message is sent to Taesung which shows pictures of Yoosung and TS's mom together at the airport. It shakes him to the core as intended and he doesn't take Yoosung's call when he tries to reach him. Outside, reporters swarm him and he has a panic attack and passes out. In his blurred vision, he sees HB running toward him, pushing the reporters aside.

Very good episode, imo. Excellent with the bits of character's relationships, plot progression and clearing up some conflicts while creating new ones without dragging them out needlessly. Most important takeaway: Taebyeol ship is going STRONK!!! Tho the distrust sown between TS and his hyun Yoosung hurts as much and i hope the drama keeps its track record in solving conflicts in a timely, organic manner like they did before <3

Okay, episode 11 spoilers/summary as far my korean comprehension allowed it:

Both, mixed together tbh.

The cutest scene was them going camping and Taesung trying to make her laugh when he notices she is feeling down/is too quiet, tbh. This dialogue, these dorks, I love them <3

HB: There are no stars, sighs (night sky is cloudy)
GTS: Oh, oh *points to the sky* There is, i see it. *turns to her and pokes her cheek* There is ONE STAR (Han Byeol means one star)
HB: Really?`*rolls eyes but in a teasing way; tho does not laugh*
GTS: Really. *looks up again* OH OH and i see another star! *proceeds to poke his own cheek* 😆
HB shakes her head and GTS thinks his attempt at humor has failed but she ends up laughing after all, and he is so proud of himself haha.

Never trust the preview, lol. Episode 11 is much lighter in tone again. There are some streaks of doom thrown in as overarching plot (ex manager's revenge), but GTS has thankfully a good support system that keeps him afloat throughout the episode (except for the ending but i expect the new conflict between Yoon and him to be cleared up quickly too in tomorrow's or next weeks episodes) And when HB is doubting it all thx to salty witch whispering into her ear that their relationship won't last, it is GTS coming forward and showing his support and love for her. It is all very very wholesome and i love how healthy their relationship is and how well they communicate their concerns and fears with each other. They are each other's rock and it really shows in this episode.
