I meeeeean i always suspected even expected it to happen, but not as quickly as the drama did. I was really thinking that Soo was just disappointed with her being so distant last eps, and that there was going to be an accident that leaves him possessed an episode or so later. But nope homeboi is possessed from the get go 😬 And here we are, once more going the Mystic Pop Up Bar "the evil spirit wears a familiar face" route haha. Tho tbh, it is the logical finale with the threat of history repeating itself too.
I'm a tad annoyed of them drawing out the romantic commitment of both leads to each other as long as they do but oh well, Chawoong has been upgraded to Cinnamon Roll 2.0 so he is already on that mission, lol. (that coffee boi scene, i wheezed) JUST.... Please, please please give me a modern time kiss before episode 16, i am feeling all blue-balled by that extreme slow burn ngl 🤣🤣🤣
Man! This is Amazing, Phenomenal, Surprising. Started yesterday midnight....waiting for ep12
Welcome, so happy more people give this wonderful drama a chance <3 If you have the viki pass, episode 12 is already available to watch. Otherwise it will take a bit still for it to appear on "other" streaming sites 😁
"Noooo," I yell, as i furiously hammer the refresh button of its viki page on my keyboard while crying. 🙃
i think FNOS is already the fastest release with subs on viki atm. Takes about 1-2 hours till it is released after airing whereas other dramas take a day or more until they drop. So i am just spoiled by the quick drops before and thus whining on a high lvl 🤣
I guess a kdrama does not work without a breakup huh? As long it ain't taebyul i take it tho. Hope Yuuuuuna finds…
hehe, have fun. CL is like shooting star a drama which needs a bit of time to get rolling so give it room to breathe till episode 4, ideally the end of it with its twist(tm)
I totally agree. Moreover, the production team made a wonderful decision of completing the drama by 12 episodes…
Oh yeah. MPUB had the sufficient amount of episodes with 12. It just suits the drama perfectly with the story it wanted to tell. Knowing it is the same writer as for FNOS makes me appreciate it even more tho <3
Yuuup. One thing is sure tho.... he will even be more hearteyes about her hahaha, and i cannot wait to see him…
Also i just loooooove Shin Hye Sun and Kim Jung Hyun. Such phenomenal actors. To see them BOTH in one drama and play off each other in a shared scene on an equally high acting skill level is such a treat ♥‿♥

i am not sure how far i should veer into off-topic and mr. queen, especially regarding spoilers as this is a show best watched "blind" tbh. So i keep it brief and am open for more questions should you have it.
I have heard that complaint before and the only thing i can say is... things are not as simple as it seems or you understand them to be. It requires you to trust the writers and process tho and to take the plunge at first. Which you should as the progression between them from enemies to lovers and with how the characters learn and grow with each other over the course of the drama is really done and IT JUST WORKS. It is hard to describe but to deprive yourself from a really really great drama with such stellar acting, lovable characters and great chemistry between the leads would be a loss due to that imo. There is a reason why the ratings on MDL are consistingly at 9.0 with over 50k ppl having watched it tbh.
It is also a cheeky look at gender and their roles, particularly in the joseon era. As the queen is not a man nor woman per se, but rather a mixture of both souls which influence each other more and more the drama progresses. As said hard to describe but just trust the process and the writing, it is truly worth it. Especially since around it all is an equally clever genre mix and actually funny humor as we see now in FNOS. (there is also a past connection between the leads ;) )
And for me it is still the best enemies to (royal) power couple progression i have seen in a drama. (ノ◕ヮ◕)ノ*:・゚✧
If you don't mind some mild spoilers, watch this FMV which shows more of the enemy side in the beginning with bits of juxtaposition from later on thrown in: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=McKLP2mvbkQ
i know chemistry is ultimatively subjective but i am still ಠ~ಠ at everyone who thinks this way about ML/FM... particularely in the last few episodes. They have such a healthy and wholesome relationship dynamic and cute as pie interactions once they are together tho?
did i stay up till 5 am to catch up on this when i have an exam coing? absolutely correct
Honestly i did that on a weekday of work where i wanted to rewatch a scene from it and ended up rewatching whole episodes until 4 am, whoops. So i don't blame ya, the drama is just that good. Good luck for your exams nonetheless haha 。◕‿‿◕。
Is the love triangle resolved yet?Don't want to watch if it's going to take it final episode to solve the LT
tbh, it was never that serious? Sure she had a crush on her fellow cop for a decade, but as of now Seul Hae has figured out that her crush was just that and it is more serious with ML Chawoong. Like there is a whole episode focusing on the LT ... where it is also resolved tbh. The drama is very good in NOT dragging issues out for overly long, so take the dive you won't regret it
Am I correct in believing that it was SEUL-HAE that protected CCW from the Evil Spirit? Let me just say that I…
Remember, the sacred mirror got reincarnated WITHIN Seul Hae's body so her hugging her bae as he was in imminent danger was what activated his powers... and hers too.
if you recall the scene where he was drunk, him touching her shoulders was what "activated" the big dipper within her spirit (seven stars) line toward "heaven." Choi comments on it too there. So it is both of them and only together they are powerful. Hence why he came to the conclusion he needs to reunite them.
1 give away is when he asked when Seul Hae start to like the sunbae in the police station. if its real him, he…
He is annoyed that Seul Hae's world no longer resolves around him as it has been for a decade where he took it for granted. She has her priorities and feelings sorted out by now and they clearly lie with Chawoong (doesn't want the transfer bc it would mean she can't visit him as often in the hospital) Which is the root cause of his annoyance. I also feel him looking at the pictures of SH is about lamenting what once was and now has changed more than anything else. He also thought she would jump at the chance to work with him in the detective's unit, and got pissed when she declined to spend more time taking care of CCW instead.
I am also not a fan of him taking all the credit and laurels for the Full Moon serial killer case and throwing Seul Hae only breadcrumbs, then get upset when she declined. ლ(ಠ益ಠლ)
I really don't like him and these kind of guys who take a woman's affection for granted but keep her at arm's length as they only see it as a personal ego boost. And then they have the audacity to get upset when said woman eventually falls for another guy. It is skeevy and all kind of nopes. Major pet peeve when a SML is written like that.

(I don't get why there is a release distortion between those two ways to watch tho)
