binged all 12 eps in two days and now iยดm impatiently waiting for more
This is/has become a common sentiment here the past weeks and i am happy the drama gets slowly but surely more (well-deserved) love. And also welcome to the "I do not stare at the episode countdown clock willing it to go faster" club now ๐คฃ
It's one of these "I'd lay my life for you down in a heartbeat, always worry about you and trust you implicitly,…
Haha thanks, and i love them for it. Tho by now Chawoong has given up all pretend of NOT being utterly whipped, of course.๐คฃ He is as Mr. Queen/Sobong would say "All in" ( อกแต อส อกแต )
It took me a week to catch up with the latest episodes & I'm surprised that this drama isn't getting more attention.…
Which is fitting because this drama here is the new work of the Mystic Pop Up Bar writer ๐๐ And hard same. Haven't seen such a in all regards well-balanced and executed drama since Mr. Queen. (Crazy Love and Vincenzo are close seconds/thirds tho)
It's one of these "I'd lay my life for you down in a heartbeat, always worry about you and trust you implicitly, but me in love? Hah, noooo! (and the other would never want me anyway)" idiots in love pairings with an added long married couple bickering dynamic and bonus chaos wherever they go, tbh xD
Here a small but fine list of dramas i find genuinely funny AND well written:
Crazy Love (the most romcom-y from this list lol) https://kisskh.at/706923-crazy-love (best use dramacool etc to watch as it is on Disney+ and not widely available)
Kang Jae is not evil, what happened to him was not normal and doesn't happen in real life.No sane person would…
It is a discount version of the american "Jane the virgin" TV show tbh. I watch it but i am pretty meh about it thus far. It lost all its OG quirky charm as the drama plays the wackiness of it too straight. Basically just imagine if FNOS would take itself too serious. It is a serious disconnect between plot/situation and the tone/feel of it.
I agree with everything you said. This is the first time I'm dying to have a character go back to his jerk self…
I think it was more a betrayal to Chawoong that Choi omitted to tell him the truth and lied to him all this time than the actual betrayal in the past life. Hence why he was lashing out, it was hurtful bc he trusted him and once more CCW was just "used/played a fool" instead of respected. Like ppl did before with his grandfather and that by the supposed spirit of his family. Ouch.
Mystic Pop Up Bar did this element well too, imo. Tho it is more in a piece-meal style with details revealed bit…
Oh, pls do as it is a more somber/introspective version of FNOS, basically. First and second episode are a bit slow-ish with all the set up of backstory and characters but then it gets rolling. And I loved the concept of going into people's dreams to solve their sorrows. It has a wonderful and equally tragic past lovers story as well which has bearings on the present times. FNOS is better paced in many regards, but still don't give up if first eps or so doesn't grab you, it is very well worth a watch (๏พโใฎโ)๏พ*:๏ฝฅ๏พโง
I'm fully enjoying PHJ's acting as Cha Chawoong in the currently airing magic fantasy drama "From Now On Showtime,"…
Two episodes in and, like with Mystic Pop Up Bar, to name an instance, I don't understand why everyone is complaining about FL. She is rightfully suspicious of ML atm and there is nothing wrong with that. The only thing i hope to happen is her going to be more multifaceted as the drama progresses (as it happened with FL in MPUB), otherwise I have seen faaaaar worse FL than her by a long mile.
agree with Crazy Love..have not watched the other one yet..
Highly recommend it tho. Criminally underrated drama due to any lack of promotion by its network/viki (aka scompi). Well this is not the only thing it shares with Crazy Love tho. They also have a similar wacky, quirky kind of humor ๐
Okay tbh I don't feel like to watch this drama anymore it's so boring I just don't like the worries character…
I second/third that "From Now On Showtime" rec. Actually funny and quirky humor, characters and situations instead of well, it all being mildly so (if at all)
Why is this leaving Netflix? I know it's technically not a Netflix Original. Where is it going instead?
As netflix is the only legal option to watch i say it goes to dramacool, lol. Nah, probably an ending licence thing, hence why they pull it from the platform. Gotta hurry and catch up on it before that tho :)
I'm fully enjoying PHJ's acting as Cha Chawoong in the currently airing magic fantasy drama "From Now On Showtime," (From the same writer of Mystic Pop Up Bar) so i need to watch more of his filmography and truly proficient acting.
This drama here wasn't on my radar until i saw that PHJ plays the ML in it tbh. And since it leaves Netflix soon, what better time to catch up on it hehe.
