How is it so far? Much romance?
Did you not ask that before exactly about this drama, nabi? I faintly remember replying to you about it, lol.

I watch WWWSK on and off, aka very slowly atm, and i side-eye the drama so much for not dropping this shit even as characters inverse called them out for it. Quite jarring imo.

Title From Now On, Showtime! Spoiler
That's my prediction neither Poong Baek needed the genral they just need to find the darn mirror...although he…
The mirror got reincarnated into SH's body. Choi said so in episode 5, i believe and that hug of her was also what activated CW's powers. Maybe they are two separate things after all, aka PB's powers and choi's ability to see/communicate with ghosts. Since PB had been a powerful priest of sorts but it was all due to the sacred mirror instead of ghosties/spirits and there was never any indication he saw ghosts etc. IDK aside from the first two things the rest is just my speculation of course. We will see :D

Title From Now On, Showtime! Spoiler
the evil spirit with heesoo just makes me annoyed..the guy from before makes me scared lol
Right??? I laughed out loud when the timed comment "DUDE GET A HOBBY" popped up as he once more was stalking Seul Hae living her best life with her adorkable magician bf. Because this describes best what i think of evil creeper, he just annoys me with his creepy obsession. Like imagine burning down an orphanage just to kill her bf... yikes. The real Hee Soo would have backed off by now, at least.

Title From Now On, Showtime! Spoiler
Whatever happened to CCW's "reincarnated Poong Baek" powers? And Seul Hee's newfound powers? Advisor Choi wasn't…
i can imagine that it is due to Choi being gone completely instead of just not physically present in the location. Given that its usage put him into a coma for a month it is probably best if they start leading a normal life post evil creeper and enjoy their long overdue happy end without otherworldly shenanigans interfering. But we will see how it is going to be handled.MPUB had a fake out "they are gone" ending too hehe.

I didn't know I'd love the romance part of this drama so much it's so natural and lovely. Can't wait for the tears…
Yeeees.. I loved how they made the instant switch to first name the moment they started dating. (Ngl, it is a huuuuuge pet peeve of mine in romcom drama when the leads keep calling each other by last name (mr./ms.etc) or title after starting dating or even after having dated for a while.)

It was so natural, just like their whole new dynamic as couple throughout. Which is all due to the actors doing a fantastic job/getting along so well tbh xD

Title From Now On, Showtime! Spoiler
Such a good episode again! This drama really isn't letting us down. Loved the focus on Ah Reum and her backstory…
I think it will be bittersweet since while it marks an ending, CCW still has SH at his side and they can start their own family in time. Our cinnamon roll won't be lonely at least. I adored their talk in the end about continuing magic in spite, and the throwback to earlier times/similarities between SH and her former self. They have such a good, healthy relationship and supporting each other all along the way <3 It feels so natural between them (love the instant switch to first name, where other leads call each other by last name or title long after dating. Such a pet peeve of mine in romcoms) which of course is also very much due to both leading actors doing a fantastic job. Lot's of dramas fizzle out when the leads get together but the writers do find clever ways to implement their relationship dynamics into the comedy scenes (poor CCW and how it killed him to not be able to do nice things for SH, haha)

Either way, a last magic show with all of them would be a great send-off, yeah. As said i expect the baddie to be dealt with before dipping into feels of saying goodbye and because the writer managed bittersweet goodbyes so well with MPUB too. So i expect them to take sufficient time as a sendoff/hommage toward the characters and for us to drown in our tears xD

Title Crazy Love
Probably it's because it's only available on selected regions
try dramacool or similar "alternative" streaming sites in this case. It is how i watch all disney plus kdramas tbh, as i refuse to give them money to support their utter failure in distribution and marketing.

Title From Now On, Showtime! Spoiler
Poor writing or SML. They couldn't do better for him, so they made him look bad by entering a evil soul. SO viewers…
Sometimes it just happens to people or rather characters when they are in the middle of things, not because the character themselves have a big motive/reason. And See Hee was spied on by the evil creeper before possession who noted his closeness to Seul Hae. That made him the perfect vessel to a) go undetected for a while, b) be and get close to SH, and then kill off CCW. It is the typical the evil wears a familar face approach, as no one would suspect him.

Thankfully the suspicion is mounting by now, so i expect the final showdown with evil creeper and the threat of history repeating itself to happen and be resolved in the next episode. In order to have a quieter, core-character-focused farewell episode for us to cry over, then. Could also be half half of the last episode but if the writer is playing it close to how she had done it in MPUB, she will slot in sufficient time for the characters and to say goodbye.

My heart isn't ready to part with them yet, I bawled even just from the preview alone, I feel like parting with…
Don't want even think about next week being the last episodes, omg. Like this is the first drama i followed while airing where i expect to bawl like a baby when the last episode has aired. (Felt the same when watching the last eps of mr queen, but it aired before i actively started watching kdrama, so it is not the same) Like i also loved the recently aired "Crazy Love" a lot, but i could part with it and its ending well without many hung ups. FNOS is on a whole other level still tho, so it will be hard to move on/find another drama that keeps me interested and engaged in it to the point it did. Or to find another drama like this in general, as the ones with excellent genre mix and well executed plot and characters all in one are sadly all too rare.

I highly recommend MPUB to watch in succession to the ppl who haven't yet, as it will definitely alleviate some of the parting woes.

LMFAO SEUL HAE IS SO DIRTY-MINDED πŸ˜‚ that whip~ sound after she's like "he's taking his clothes off... What…
I mean my mind went straight into the gutter along with hers but then i remembered it is *Chawoong* who said it, so nothing would happen xD

They suit each other tho since she balances out his cluelessness, because this man does not need a hint, he needs to be whacked over the head with it. And she is the right person to do that🀣
On From Now On, Showtime! Jun 5, 2022
i lost it when Chawoong said "There is so much to do at home. I'll go take my clothes off. Wait here." and Seul Hae's mind went into the gutter to the point she is posing *sexily* on the couch for his return ... but he just came back in different, more casual clothes 🀣 And the whole massage part which he took very seriously without noticing the, ahem, side effects his touch has on her. Gosh this innocent clueless dork, haha. Did SH really expect the cinnamon to turn into a sinnamon roll all this sudden??? 🀭😏

I love how the writers find ways to draw comedy even from their new intimate bf/gf dynamic xD

Title Sh**ting Stars Spoiler
the ending of ep.14 tells me the ceo already know about OHB and GTS and his just fishing for them to confess πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚Hopefully…
Yeah he was clearly expecting her to fess up, but having ultimate proof in catching them is even better. They are not getting out of this one haha. I love how the scene of GTS sneaking up to her was a callback to the earlier episodes where he instead of hugging would have scared her or something πŸ˜‚

to answer the first and second question 😁:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vBk0P27QGmc
No problem. To say it clearly: In the end it comes down to what you expect from it/individual liking, but i highly recommend to pick it back up. I have rarely seen a drama where the comment section was *this* full of praise, if at all. Like there are no criticism or complains about plot, characters or pacing here at all, and everyone who stumbles over the drama's existence reports on bingewatching it and their surprise how good/overlooked it is.

I'm not sure if you know or seen Mystic Pop Up Bar but FNOS having the same writer is very noticable. Though FNOS is lighter and more comedy-focused in tone and more tightly paced and pretty much an improvement over things that did not work as well in MPUB, both dramas are quite similar in theme and execution. Means quirky, lovable characters, found family, supernatural events, sometimes creepy, a past life lovers plot very central to the present plot, evil spirit antagonist and of course lots of heart, care (for the story/characters and their development) and warmth in its writing.

FNOS is one of the few dramas where it gets better and better with each episode aired/watched. It constantly subverted my expections as it did not linger on or dragged out conflict prior created but solving them always quickly and head on in a satisfying manner. It is a drama which respects your time investment into it and wants you to enjoy the journey. The plot is tightly paced, the characters are developed in a slow, sensible way and so is the romance between both leads. So of course, none of the characters is the same in episode 13 they were in eps 1, as it should be. The change is most noticable with Cha Cha Woong (like night and day different, whoa), but also with the others. And best is the change and development is done in a way where it feels organic to the characters, never forced.

The drama also excels with blending different genres effortlessly and it never feels jarring. Fantasy, mystery, comedy, action, a dash of angst, horror and tragedy, and then back to romance and comedy only to turn you into a blubbering mess with some sad events not much later. The acting and chemistry of characters/actors of course is a large part of why it works and each actor does a stellar job in their role, no matter how small, they are just all darn good. Most noticably is here PHJ of course who goes from blustering, closed off jerk to dork in love and back in one scene and makes it *charming* (his microexpressions and comedic timing is just πŸ‘Œ) but also Jin Ki Joo kills it as headstrong and badass/no-nonsense police officer with a strong sense of justice that gets under his skin in more ways than one. The ghost crew is the best crew and among the leads the heart and soul of the show. And while much appeared random at first in the story with the case of the week and the civil police unit etc, the different plot strings come together later on to build the overarching plot bit by bit and it makes sense, because the writer(s) are good and know what they are doing. There is never a dull moment nor one that does not make sense.

Lol, whoops i ended up writing a review and maybe i should post it as such, but that is my essay why everyone even liking fantasy in the slightest should watch and/or pick back up this drama lol.
