I feel "sheisme" under the eps 14 preview on youtube has cracked the code re: segi heh:

Honestly? The drama only gripped me around episode 5 when there were small moments where they related to each other after visiting her father, so i get ya. It is well worth to power thru the (intentional) cringe the show throws at you at first tho as it only gets better and better with each episode instead the other way around :D

It has been answered by now, but i still looked up the credits to make sure and yeah, Yoon Hye Ri plays Na (Su) Soo Yeon. In hangul the name is 나수옌. Hope that helps :D

i am sorry i cackled a bit reading your post, because these things are romcom drama 101 and yet do not happen in this drama, at all. Except for 1, of course (episode 12) and 4, which greatly backfires in the most recent episode, also due to ML never showing any interest of getting back together with SFL.

Which tbh, is the reason i love it so much. It is NOT your typical romcom and rather parodies the most common tropes while taking itself not too seriously as well. Go Jin bg is angsty and gives reason for why he is how he is, and ofc the FL's condition causes angsty moments tho they are resolved later on too. But thats about it. It remains light and wacky and self-aware in tone throughout with heartfelt/wrenching moments sprinkled in to let you connect with the characters better.

Due to its impact, Segi is brought in to the police but refuses to tell Go Jin the reason for cornering/attacking him (like that.)

Yeah that is no love that is obsession and the love of the idea of love at most. Nothing what is rooted in reality for sure. Like he was very VERY clear throughout the drama what he thinks of her and even clearer in today's episode but at this point she is lost in her obsession so not even his words of rejection (TWO TIMES!) reach her anymore. Yikes.

god yeah, she even beats mr. queen's jo hwain (eu bin) by miles in that, bc as annoying as she was she did manage to turn around in the end at least. Not Soo Yeoung tho, she remains desperate and pathetic till the end, jfc

Hehe, that they already are like a married couple, basically. Their bond is so strong nothing can tear them apart. But real wedding and rings will follow i am sure😎

One thing i forgot to mention since there was so much but loved also a lot was Shin Ah throwing down at the ex when meeting her a day later early in the episode. "I keep loving him. I don't need anything else." was her answer to ex's offer to money and tutor position offer.

Mimi couple reigns surpreme indeed, I am shocked how realistic and mature the writing is of these two characters and they handle conflicts. Like dramas do like their bs conflicts and misunderstandings normally. So this is a very refreshing thing to see (first i have seen ever since mr. queen (in the latter episodes) Segi has made all his moves so now it is Go Jin's turn and i cannot imagine Shin Ah sitting still, so we will get to see their stellar teamwork, i am sure haha. Yeah, they are already married except on paper, so the happy ending in this regard is already a done deal, Now it is about crushing their enemies as power couple to round off and sweeten the upcoming ending😎

Yup Segi's sis is deader than dead and while i didn't catch many of his words at her urn, he is bitter/angry af, so yeah there is your motive among other things, i think? Go Jin and Segi are also openly hostile to each other after meeting in go jin's office, or rather segi is.

Shin ah finds the hidden murder room a scene later, Go Jin enters and the last secrets are out in the open and talked about. She once again gives him her support, reassures him, and they hug. They are a done deal, nothing will tear them apart.

Episode ends with the shareholders meeting and Segi sneering at Go Jin across the room.

I loved so much how all their issues or struggles imposed by others are IMMEDIATELY talked about with each other and all the hurdles thrown at them only served to reaffirm and strengthen their love and support each other instead to tear them apart as intended/expected. They are a done deal and already so very married. And now also seem to team up against their enemies. Bless. This is how you write a good relationship, ABSOLUTELY NO UNNECESSARY DRAMA. THANK THE DRAMA GODS.
