Aww, from what i gathered it has a happy ending though. I started watching it and really enjoy it so far with…
Yeah I ended up really enjoying this drama, except for the noble idiot phase in the three double digit episodes where she went to the princess selection and despite clearly loving the matchmaker. That was stupid unnecessary angst for the heck of it and frustrating. Other than that it was a really cute satisfying watch with entertaining characters and a well done romance.
안녕 친구야! Good to see you in this comment section and welcome to my current drama obsession, lol. Like, enemies to lovers hadn't been done THIS well since Mr.Queen and i am all here for it.
Is this good? I'm officially in a slump thanks to BP and 2521 (and it's horrible ending) 😭 And I can't seem…
It is a drama that looks cliche, but turns them all on its head. Plus it has a well-executed slow burn enemies to lovers progression and character development that gets added on with each episode in a subtle way. The humor goes from dark to wacky to very tongue in cheek. The acting of both leads is great too, they really sell the range of their scenes from crazy to hearffelt. The starting episodes are a bit slow, but this drama is one of the rare breeds where with every episode, it gets better. So keep watching as it picks up speed around episode 5 at its latest, when it goes deeper into the character and plot.
I am currently reading it and feel it could be better.... I would likr something more like Touch Your Heart or…
If you want a well executed enemies to lovers story with a slow but believable character development and some wacky, dark humor, try the current airing drama Crazy Love, which is sadly still way too underrated.
Ok here we are at 12. Believe me, I was one of the first viewers here watching and absolutely loving this drama.…
I see this differently? Like the goal of the enemies to lovers trope IS becoming a couple in a committed relationship, after all. And this progression has been executed beautifully. Them further fighting as they did before would 1) a crass character development degression 2) make no sense in general 3) turn their relationship into an abusive, toxic one. Doesn't mean they can't still bicker/banter with each other or, more likely, as it happened in Mr. Queen as well, team up to crush their (now mutual) enemies as THE power couple. But why would you want THEM to fight with each other? Makes no sense tbh.
So I assume that Gojins feelings aren't going to be muddled this late into the drama right, especially when he…
Why would he, ever? He is actively avoiding her for 12 episodes already and if they meet he always throws so much subtext at her about how much he hates what she had done to him, among being very distant in general. Even if he gets to know the truth, Soo Young still left and abandoned him like everyone else before Shinah came into his life. Worse even, she left him at his lowest point. The something in his eyes is due to KJW's super expressive face which reflects the hurt each time they meet. Nope this ship has not only sailed, it has burned and sunk to the bottom of the ocean. Good riddance too, lol.
Not to mention he is super-duper whipped by Shinah and wouldn't do anything to jeapordize (sp?) his new relationship that finally brings him the companionship and happiness he has so long feared and yearned for in equal amounts.
Here I include a comment from @blueberrycakepop regarding Ep11 👇🏼“I see a lot of people are unhappy with…
Tbf, that is an error on MDL's end. Sometimes when clicking post a message you get the "something went wrong" notification and then of course you think you need to resend it, but it actually posted fine already the first time despite the note. These MDL hiccups are damn annoying and what actually causes the duplicate messages.
Ngl, the main couple is super cute once they get together (even as friends they are great). They know each other so well and thus have this certain, very comfortable, easy going chemistry and cheeky banter with each other that screams married couple, bless. This drama is basically the more grown up version of Weightlifting Fairy KBJ with books, and i love that a lot.
I was about to ask that question but you ended up asking!!! 1. Tomorrow2. Park hae jin's new drama(Forgot the…
I already have a lot in my currently watching list since I try out every airing drama which interests me a little to see what sticks. Currently of them the big one is Tomorrow, bc i love Rowoon a lot (as an actor, he is really good and steadily improving) and Again My Life gives me Vicenzo vibes, if with way less quirky humor. I am taking a look at Our blues too this week too. Soundtrack #1 is a nice cozy and brief friends to lovers story.
From the in a bit upcoming ones... Link: Eat, Love, Die with Yeo Jin Goo in a more humorous role (such a terrific actor, bless). Sh**ting stars (another enemies to lovers romcom in showbiz), From Now On Showtime (plot sounds interesting) and for (possible) misery fuel the historical kdrama Bloody Hearts. Not to mention all the older kdrama i have to catch up on in my watchlist of course haha.
Thanks for the link. I am surprised how much i already can understand after learning korean daily for two months
I know both forms, but i learned the latter one in my vocabs so i use that one. Not sure if one is more correct than the other, so take it with a grain of salt from this newbie learner haha. And thank you, back to you <3

Smitten kitten, haha, this is so fitting🤣 Yeah the ads are super polished and so beautiful, in a way? Idk, just so different from german ones lol. Oh nice, i have only nearly half a year of kdrama under my belt yet lol. But yeah, unless you watch medical dramas or idk lawyer ones i guess the vocab and phrases are pretty accessible as the most common ones are used. Which you can learn as you go, or rather watch, haha.
I find learning korean fun, as i am now at the point where i have an overall grasp of "how it works" and find it pretty logical. At least until the more complicated sentences/grammar rules (PARTICLES *shakes fist*) will come into play and force a humble pie down my throat, that is, haha.

I only started sort of recently with watching kdrama (since december) but yeah immersing yourself in the language helps a lot to learn words and understand what is going on. Like, i watched a lot of anime in my twenties and i still know a lot of "commonly used" (in anime) japanese words due to that haha. It is really learning by doing, or rather osmosis lol
