would you belive me if i told you i'm the opposite i dropped CRAZY LOVE in ep 3, and went to wach a business proposal…
the first three to four episodes did not grab me much either, but boooi does it pick up after that. This is the rare breed of drama which gets better with every episode, bc it adds so many small details and character development in each one. Now it is my fave airing drama atm, so i definitely rec to give it another go and couple of episodes :)
Why is this comment section so hellbent on comparing ABP to CL or/and creating a dumb, unneeded rivalry between the shows? That drama has ended, now let it reeeest and enjoy CL instead without scaring possible new viewers away with kindergarten lvl "my drama is better than yours" behavior, thanks.
I looked up the og text and yeah, "유언장을" means "make one's will" as it is the conjugated form from "유언장"…
Yeeeeah, goes to show how undervalued CL still is. In this way i am really glad ABP is no longer airing and taking away its overdue limelight. But it does not help either that it is only on disney+ (and that only in a handful of asian countries) since disney reeeeeeally sucks in promoting their kdramas.
As for the translation... No prob :D i am still a beginner learner in korean so naver dictionary is my best friend lol. Tis a bit like lego for me at the moment, just with korean words xD And the text is just the official synopsis of the upcoming episode, so nothing too spoilerific either imo ;) I plan to use my language power for good, once i leveled up lol (in a year or two)
This appears to be a translation of Ep. 11 spoiler/preview (NOT the video) from an official KBS site, I believe.Credit…
I looked up the og text and yeah, "유언장을" means "make one's will" as it is the conjugated form from "유언장" (yuenjjang, meaning will/testament) so that seems to be accurate. I guess she wrote the things she wanna do before dying in there too, maybe? But given Go-Jin's reaction, it's meaning had been pretty clear to him, and as such he no longer can allow himself to waste time on his fears. Finally a misunderstanding which moves things forward instead of backwards😏
"Before he learns of the misdiagnosis, Gojin, who found a diary in which Shin-Ah wrote down her will, misunderstands that she is dying, and realizes that he cannot give up his love for Shin-Ah."
I am fully caught up on the show. I am here now because i have nothing better to do than talk about how fun this…
I really hope more ppl like you switch over from ABP, which sadly completely overshadowed this drama, to CL now, as it deserves so much more love and recognition than it currently gets, tbh. So underrated, alas.
this drama really gives me similar vibes to mr. queen tbh. the slapstick comedy, the over-the-top female lead,…
Yeeeeees, I have been raving on about that further down the comments lol, as this has been my first impression about this drama too. Vicenzo is like Mr. Queen one of these very rare kdrama which does combine genres so well and switches between them fluently. Aka the tonal shift never feels sudden or awkward but in line and organically what the drama has established as baseline, so to speak. Like Mr. Queen, Vicenzo is the full package of all genres, well written, lovable characters, side and main, that go off the rails if needed (comedy or badass-wise) Like Cheoljong always planned ahead, having the bigger picture in mind (while playing the fool) so does Vincenzo, and yet it remains an infuriating equal cat and mouse game, toe to toe, till the end with the utterly despicable villains. And Hong giving me the strongest Sobong vibes haha. The teamwork and partnership between Hong and Cassano also reminds me of the later mr.queen episodes where CJ/Sobong became joseon's power couple :D
Vicenzo is a slower watch for me than my bingewatch of mr.queen ... twice (so far) simply due to length but god are they ever similar in the whole feel, structure etc. which is why i love this drama tons.
i started this earlier, and i couldn't stop watching it! it's so hilarious and interesting. mdl's rating ain't…
This drama gets better and better with each episode instead of following the typical kdrama downward trend and i love it for that. The (lead) character writing is done and executed so well, same for their slowburn relationship progression. It is on par with Mr. Queen for me so far, and i don't say THAT lightly. I just hope it keeps up this way for the remaining episodes.
Even though I knew from the beginning that they will give the ML sad/traumatic childhood, I was moved by the scenes…
Yeah here is why execution matters, like the sad, lonely boy backstory is so played out by now and overused, but they have done it so so well with giving us only bits and pieces and then really impactful pictures and scenes that, along with the great acting, you cannot NOT feel for him. I really love how the writing of the lead character(s) is done so far.
This and Business Proposal are my happy pills especially after 2521 and 39. I'm gonna try and stay away from dramas…
In case you need some more serotonin after the recent kdrama disappointments, try these "older" kdrama (romcoms) alongside Crazy Love. Fluffy, funny, heartwarming and everything in between, and all with happy ending and worth watching. (My personal recs, so some you may have already seen and can be ignored)
Mr. Queen Thirty But Seventeen/Still 17 Dali And The Cocky Prince Angel's Last Mission: Love Extraordinary You Shopping King Louie Welcome To Waikiki Because This is My First Life Doom At Your Service Strong Woman Do Bong Soon I'm Not a Robot Oh My Ghost/Oh my Ghostess Our Beloved Summer Flower Crew: Joseon Marriage Agency Weightlifting Fairy Kim Bok Joo 100 Days My Prince (basically SKL in Joseon, lol)
Since ABP has ended now (really enjoyed it even if last episode was a bit meandering) and in case you all miss your weekly dose of kdrama romcom on monday, check out Crazy Love which ran before "in the shadow" of ABP's popularity and definitely deserves more love, because it is really really good <3
Yes, It deserves a high rating. You will regrate if you don't watch it
Do you know Mr. Queen? Because the enemies to lovers romance is as equally slowly and carefully build up here in this drama. Aka suited to the characters and progressed organically instead of 180 insta love. Every episode we see a bit more of them catching feelings tho and it is really well done, so far.
this felt so much like a parody on bad (romance) kdrama dialogue xD like their meeting prior to wife appearing was so campy and over the top with deliberately stilted acting to boot lmao
