i love the main couple- but for some reason, i just can't hate the second fl dont like her but don't hate is it…
I don't hate her but she annoys me a bit with her insistence to win him back, even/especially if /since he shows zero interest to rekindle what they had. Go Jin is at best wistful for what they had, and at the same time still hurt by the break up, and thus avoiding her presence whenever possible. (And tbf, for good reasons, as she was fucking brutal to him during their breakup, yikes)
Yeah that is the reason why the episodes are less, no unneeded drama! ๐งก
More dramas, especially romcoms, should pick up the 12 episodes format tbh. Would help a lot to cut out unneeded, boring filler and stupid (breakup) wangsting.
it always picks up with episodes airing, but sadly this drama is still completely in ABP's shadow and most ppl don't even know it and what they are missing, unfortunately. I hope that some ppl do pick it up with ABP ending today/tomorrow.
This show will get you by surprise at first, with its over the top whacky dark humor but i swear, just keep watching.…
tbf the way he gaped at her, for a moment it looked like he would faint xD And yes, this drama is so underrated and gets better and better with each episode instead the other way around. It has become the current airing drama i am looking most forward to, especially with ABP now ending. I just love the slow but steady character and relationship progression paired with self-aware, dark humor.
The irony of this drama getting a happy end while basically being misery piled upon misery for the last 8 episodes and 2521 which was only angsty in small amounts doesn't get it, is not lost on me ๐คก
Drama is slightly different anyway, so no need to. Give it a try, tho be aware that there are some heavier topics such as suicide attempts, bullying and such, but it is intersperced with comedy to not let it turn too dark. It is a good mix of serious themes and comedy, and never in a tasteless way. Rowoon and his character are fantastic so far, the heart and soul of this drama imo. Drama is stylish as heck too.
Funny thing is I read on twitter that 2521 ended terrible. Thank good I stuck to this one.
Yeah fair. I enjoyed the first half of flaw, but not the second. Same for 2521, if to a less severe degree (pacing issues imo) than FLAW. The happy ending for the leads of this drama feels like putting lipstick on a pig tho xD Especially seeing that they had been miserable for nearly 8 episodes straight with little to no levity in between or screentime together. 2521, despite all (of my) perceived meandering feels a lot more organic in comparison.

Yeeeah, some open ending bs with no important questions answered i saw miles ahead during my weekly 2521 speedrun at 1,5--2x speed tbh. So guess it is worth speedrunning thru the last four episodes then?
Welp, according to the reactions to the ending i am glad i stopped being invested as much and starting to watch 2521 on 1.5-2x speed around the halfway mark. Been a good ride, but definitely not as good as people made it out to be, as least for me. The pacing had always been a bit off with spending so much time, sometimes to a meandering degree, with their starting age and only the last two episodes in the titular timeline. This should have been different imo.
Sucks that the ending is how it is, of course, but at the same time I am glad it is over now as it overshadowed all other airing kdramas which was a tad annoying tbh, Now i am ready for some other (new) shows (getting more love) <3
i hate it when they give the useless parents who almost never took care of their child the sickness card, then…
It is so frikkin forced in this drama, and such a toxic idea in general of how you must forgive someone abusive just because they are a family member or something. Like i know the cultural aspect of filial duty and honoring senority in korea comes into play here and it is probably not possible due to that, but actually in those cases it is much better to cut out the abuser completely from your life. Throw them in the proverbial trash. You owe them nothing if they treat you like shit. Period.
Hehe, truuuue. But unlike quite a few idols/models turned actor he combines it with real acting talent and is way more than just a pretty face. Which makes watching him in a drama all the more enjoyable, as it is the full package so to speak hahaโบ
The drama gives me strong Hotel Del Luna vibes which i adored with its themes about death, regrets but also cherishing life and second chances. Definitely gonna keep watching.
Unfortunately yes. The SML wants ML back, not only wants back, but because the ML seems is putting up with trauma,…
This explanation given to you is plenty confusing tho. Hell i have watched all episodes thus far and still have no idea what and which drama that person is talking about. It ain't this one, for sure lmao. All you need to know is that it is basically just the ex gf wants Go Jin (ML) back but he is wholly uninterested and as such SFL is suspected to scheme against him. There is no love triangle in the classical sense and fully one-sided as they seem to have ended their relationship on bad terms and ML actively avoids her due to that whenever possible. The focus romantically is solely on FL/ML, in a sense that it is slowly shifting from enemies to lovers in the latter episodes (5-8) with both (accidently and very slowly) catching feelings for each other.
Do you know why at the beginning of the first episode it says that this drama may not be suitable for people who…
It is not a comedy show. The comedy within is there for levity in between serious scenes and never to ridiculate the subject matter. This difference and context matters. And it works surprisingly well, also thanks to Rowoon's great acting. His character was so far the one bringing in the lightness in between and he himself "the butt of the joke" (so to speak) through well-executed/timed physical comedy, such as finger-hearts, stumbling the stairs at the HQ, dropping his small bottle of milk in shock being left with the straw in his mouth... stuff like that. Here is a good example of what i mean:
However, Rowoon is (also) able to switch to serious at the drop of a hat (to yell at ppl belittling suicide victims as weak, shielding the girl from bullying in her memories, for example), and his character does so a lot in various ways, as the heart and caring soul of the team.
Yeeees. I am particularely fond of him as he was the first ML i came across in a kdrama late last year when i started watching them. I first saw him in TKA, then Extraordinary you (so basically backward order lol) and noticed how his acting had improved in every drama that he did. It is such a joy to see him getting better and better with every role, bless.
Unfortunately only in South East + East Asia Continents's selected regions : Indonesia, Singapore, Japan, Thailand,…
Oh you are welcome. I know the pain of regional delays (of months at times) all too well, so i keep streaming my dramas in that way, lol. I found this site is not as intrusive as others with ads/pop ups as others, especially if you use adblock etc on PC. Here you can easily click the next episode too to watch, no need for an account or anything hehe. Hope you enjoy <3
