Wow after 1 year and my Vincenzo still trending in here and people still talking about it everywhere this is a…
I heard about that and will do so, seeing i completed the first episode now... and i like it so far. It is definitely not the stern and dry mafia action drama i had expected it to be. It is so freakin extra instead, lol. Love to see it.

like, these two scenes are forever etched in my mind because of the raw emotion within and stellar acting of Shin Hye Sun and Kim Jung Hyun *chefskiss*
literally the only enemies to lovers kdrama where they actually hate each other for more than 2 episodes
King Cheoljong and Queen Soyong from Mr. Queen beg to differ tho😉 They were bickering and at each others proverbial throat for at least five episodes. And their enemies to lovers progression is equally slow in general. Highly recommend this kdrama in the case you have not seen it yet.
Unpopular opinion but I cannot watch 2521 in normal speed anymore by now. It has become such a drag with the exeption of a few good character scenes. Somewhere along the beach filler episodes i lost all care for its meandering story/direction, and find the drama overhyped. I like the friendship of baekdo but romance-wise it is rather meh, also due to her still being in highschool the age gap is iffy. i actually thought they would do a timeskip to both being grown ass adults somewhere along the line but this has not/never happened (afaik, haven't watched the latest eps yet) so the title of the drama is a bit ???? I personally prefer ABP as the other current very popular drama over 2521 by far tbh, but as always YMMV ;)
Ah no, rowoon is a good egg and more than just a pretty face. I like his acting a lot and he is only getting better with each role imo. The others i am meh about tho xD
This drama is a complete and utter mess and I honestly feel that the writing for this is disrespectful to the…
Yes to all, but especially that fourth point, bless. Like i am fine with it not being fluffy or whatnot, but it generally lacks levity or any kind of moments of respite for the characters within. It is just misery piled on misery onto them for the heck of it and because the plot demands angst galore for some illogical reason. It does feel forced and fake instead organic and suiting to the story and its characters. Like where is the warmth and connection and all the things that make a melo watchable instead of it being misery 24/7?
I have kinda decided to watch the remaining episodes all at once, once they are released next weekend bc it gives me less opportunity to be frustrated by it when the conclusion to the drama is available and i can speedrun thru the unnecessary breakup wangst we got today.
If you have healthy communication and comfortable sharing every problem you have. Why they become exs in first…
It is such a twisted message to me, like you have to forgive your exes no matter what and as fast as possible, at that, no matter the hurt they caused to you. Hakyung is only in this state of mind due to what her ex did to her, and yet she goes for advice and tea with Kijun only a couple of weeks later? Wtf, writers?
Saaame. I tend to give dramas i watch my personal rating past the halfway mark and FLAW keeps getting downrated…
Heh. Yeah, record of youth was only nice bc of PBG's always stellar acting, and the show biz aspect/setting... but way too draggy otherwise. I noticed DAYS can be a hit or miss too for many. I dropped DAYS at first bc it failed to grab me a couple of months ago. I gave it another go a week ago and finished it yesterday. I am surprised by how much i enjoyed my time with it tbh despite the quite simple/too drawn out story (i skipped the SLs stupid love triangle plot completely, tho).
I feel a lot came down to performance for me here with that drama as the ML actors had amazing chemistry and were capable to really utilize the full spectrum of emotions, so i bought them being in love while living on borrowed time. I really liked how affectionate and supportive they were to each other, lots of skinship, words of affirmations and cheeky banter. It also helped that it reminded me a lot of "Extraordinary You" with its bittersweet fantasy elements and themes of "going against a predetermined fate/fated to love you" and i like these tropes/themes a lot, ngl, which is probs why i had a good time with it despite some draggy parts☺
It's sad, at the beginning I absolutely adored this drama but since 2 or 3 last episodes my personal rating keeps…
Saaame. I tend to give dramas i watch my personal rating past the halfway mark and FLAW keeps getting downrated by me each week lately. I started with 9.5 before episode 11 and now is down to 7.5 which i see dropping further still, as they are drawing out this whole stupid break up waaaaangst over several episodes till the very end and i hate haaaaaate shows which do that 😡
I was excited about this but tbh reading the synopsis now it looks boring and as if nothing much happens so
It is just a small slice of life story of longtime friends and their progression to lovers tho. Seeing it has only four episodes it would be wrong to expect an epic arc or plot. I liked the first episode, it is comforting kdrama food in between other more emotionally demanding shows, tbh.
I know it is tagged as fantasy but ooooh boi did deliver the first episode a whacky ass, trippy plot lol. I did not expect it to go off the rails like that, but hey i will run with it as i am always a slut for another Ahn Hyo Seop drama😂
Because even though it is a normal romcom, people are enjoying it very much. It is light drama with usual romance…
I rec to stick with Crazy Love, though. Like you i struggled thru the first episodes due to its slow pace, but it does pick up a lot around the fourth-fifth episodes where it gets deeper into each character and the general plot.
BP is just pure, light fun and owns up to its identity as a romcom and the tropes it uses. Like it does not pretend…
Well that is not always the case and pretty subjective. Popular ain't equal with the quality of a drama/thing tbh, though for ABP it checks out. There are a lot of popular drama here on MDL or general media i don't vibe with or/and are objectively not of great quality (see twilight/50 shades of gray etc and so on)
Like personally out of the most popular top 10 kdrama shows on MDL i like maybe 3 of them. Hence why i stopped giving much of a damn about a rating/reviews/comments and just watch a drama if i like its premise to get my own opinion of it. ABP is fun to watch tho :)
Once again, MDL ratings/opinion do not see eye to eye because i ended up loving it. Sure its storyline is simple and stretched too thin for 16 episodes, but the main leads really sold me on their romance and love for each other. Great chemistry and super supportive, affectionate couple. Hugs, adoring looks, and handholding/small kisses/touches were freely used by the actors, which it made it really believable that their characters are in love and an item.
The drama reminded me a lot of Extraordinary You with its fantasy elements and themes of "fighting against a predefined fate/us against the world" and "I was born to love you." I love how ML essentially was more than meets the eyes and just as lonely as the FL. Who would have thought that Doom, the ender of all things, would make such an adorable and wholesome puppy boyfriend haha. They helped each other to grow and change through all the hardship faced, so in the end they both were in a much better place through their support for each other. I loved the bittersweet undertone of it because FL lived on borrowed time thru her illness. The acting sold me on the spectrum of emotions felt by the characters all throughout the show. The only big caveat i have is that it would have worked better as a 12 episode show and the whole love triangle plot of the SLs was stupid, boring and disjointed from the main story, so i skipped all their scenes. Otherwise it is a great drama if you search for something in the "grand/epic fated to love you romance" category and do not mind its bittersweet tone overall. OST is one of the best i have heard in a drama too.
