Yeeeeeah, that is really summing up well why I'm disappointed with it by now. There is a word for starting strong but failing badly halfway through in german "Rohrkrepierer" (basically a back/misfire) and this suits this drama best i think xD

Sadly subs have stopped working so gotta wait till later or tomorrow to watch it then lol

Have not watched this episode yet, but seeing how the pacing is off since episode 8, my guess is as good as yours lol.

I still wanna see how this drama ends tho, but call it more morbid curiosity at this point haha. I will watch "Lovers of the red sky" and "Vicenzo" next from my list in my chase to catch up with all the many good kdrama i missed in the past😁

I understood her hesitancy to come forward with dating yet another co-worker given how it turned out the last time. But at some point she had to decide which was more important to her keeping it secret and "saving face" so to speak, or, within time, commit fully to him and stop giving so much about what other people think of her. Seeing how passive she remains all the way through, particularly as Shi Woo had the fight with his father last episode, the former is way more important to her. So dumping her for that is/was the right course of action ngl.

Honestly, Shi Woo deserves better, lol.

Oh have fun <3 ABP is just pure silly romcom fun which owns the many tropes it uses, i love that drama. It has become my comfort show of the currently airing ones after FLAW keeps disappointing me more and more each week, unfortunately. Crazy love keeps getting better each week after a very slow start too.

And I love that the last episode got us more background on the main leads now, which humanizes both a lot outside of their usual crazy antics tbh. Especially the moments where ML is starting to relate to her. It is good and slow but steady character development so far, and it is gonna be a very believable enemies to lovers progression if this keeps up tbh. Love to see it.

It started slowly but now is picking up speed and plot so i am enjoying my time with it. Definitely an apt title given our main leads lol

Yep, it has been always slow-paced since it is a character-focused drama, but especially the last two-four episodes there had been literally zero progress in regards of character and relationship development (and a large one back for Ha kyung due to being passive af.) They are basically in the same place they were after episode 8, except that we have now a breakup for additional, needless angst, sigh 😩

Alas, it is all telling of how much they like each other and not enough showing (to us) by far. I am angry how much opportunities to change that fact the last past four episodes have wasted, ngl. Now we are running out of airtime for any believable shift regarding that tbh. So yeah, your teacup romance is definitely running deeper haha

Yeah as i said the most natural turning point for FL to come around and fully commit to ML would have been after her breakdown confession thingie. But alas this has been dissappated like a fart in the wind.with episode 12 where she stayed true to being passive af as always. Now i don't think an reunion can be made organically still in regards of the characters, which is also due to us seeing so little of their relationship since episode 8, in hindsight. Tis a pity how much time got wasted on the SLs and their mawwwiage wangst/them talking to their exes instead to each each other in the past four episodes.

9.1? This once more proves to me that MDL ratings and I do not vibe lol. This drama is good but imo more in the 8,5 range, as there are lot of parts that feel too slow to me, particularly in the last past episodes. But that comes down to personal taste, i guess.

Haha saaaame tbh. They are/were used as foil to MLs and while i liked that the show drew parallels between them, it got old soon. Mainly because of the maddening amount of screentime they got in comparison to Shi Woo/Ha Kyung. I wished the drama had focused much less on those trashbags and showed us more of MLs, aka how they process and heal together, and the development of their relationship in general. And letting these characters have breathing space in just being/spending time together WITHOUT the world falling onto their heads every goddamn minute as it did. But alas, no such luck and instead of more of episode 8 cute end scenes, we were/are subjected to a lot of drawn out maaaawwiage wangst of these two clowns stealing all the drama's runtime being petty and immature assholes😩🙃

And weirdly it is always the first one of the airing dramas i pick to watch, always in the hope of it getting better (for the characters) and each time it does not happen, sigh. So when I die someday, they should play FLAW at my funeral so it can let me down one last time 😂 😂 😂
