Yeeeah, like just when i started to like this dude he turns around and begins his asshole arc 2.0, which feels so out of the blue. To a lesser degree than his other siblings sure, but that is not an achievement either way. And all of what he has been doing the past two eps is so uncalled for and displaced. He should worry about his own shitty fam instead (sweep the dirt in front of your own doorstep dude) and support HS instead to burden her as an adult woman with his displaced patriarchal big bro bs, especially after not giving a shit about her and what she is going thru for a decade or more.

HS used to be a professional runner and the trophies we see in her room are from that time. So she was successful in it too, and was said she could make it into the national team/olympics but had to give up everything for her shitty ungrateful fam. Hence why she opted to become a PT instead in order to provide for these selfish ingrates. There were some hints early on that Hyoshim could take up a career as a trainer for the youth running team she used to be a part of (when she met her old coach he basically offered it to her) so i wonder if they gonna pick this up later on or if she remains a PT all the way through. Bc while her colleagues are okay to nice, there is a lot of pressure on her put by her boss to keep up appearance and bring in revenue with their rich ass clients. I feel she could be a lot more free and happier coaching these teens and doing what has been her passion.

Yeah Hyosung can stick his protective brother nonsense where the sun does not shine, especially after all these years of indifference. It is all just so random, far too late and uncalled for given he suddenly developed a hatred for Taeho of all people. Who was someone he liked working with before and got well along with, so ????. While i get big bro is concerned TH is just usingHS bc he is just a shallow rich guy (lololololol) wielding his monetary power (lol) it is all too little too late and totally misdirected toward Taeho. Since, you know, TH is actually the one singular person in Hyoshim's life who listens to her worries and supports her, particularly emotionally. So yeah, he better focus back on his bratty daughter dating and everything else in his family being askew which should keep him busy for a long time tbh.

Yeees i love how self aware he is and down to earth instead of steeped in privilege like TM but also able to recognizing the advantages he had in life compared to HS (life abroad helped him here to gain perspective imo) Taeho is very empathic but not a doormat, and standing up for himself and the ppl he cars about. He is not afraid to tackle things head on and candidly at that. Unlike the prior weekender ML Taekyung he's allowed to have guts and a backbone and ACT. He is such a good listener in all regards and very emotionally intelligent and (self) aware with that bit of cheeky irreverence that keeps you on your toes 😂 Very observant too with the ppl around him and able to throw so much subtext at your head that you will never know he insulted you bc he stays perfectly polite throughout (such a korean thing 😁)

I really enjoy how Taeho is written tbh. He is a complete package of character and is shaping up to become a fave ML of mine ❤️ . Hope they don't ruin him later lol (one fear.meme)

Not having to deal with the obnoxious rich people nonsense and having just a minute max screentime for the creeper (Taemin) was, next to Taehshim, my favorite thing in the episode today. More of that pls, which means less of these rich/entitled elitist assholes, and that is a huge plus in my eyes lmao.

i mean fair, but also life is like that. Since you cannot control whom you like or develop a crush on. However what you can control is how to handle those feelings and imo this 2ML handled it particularly well in a way that you are even questioning if he was crushing on her in the first place., supportive and respectful as he is. It is never front and center in this story either, it is always about FL and ML, particular in the latter episodes.

The ones i want to strangle the living light out are the second leads, independent of gender, that refuse to accept a no, repeatedly. and delusional keep carrying their torch for either lead and keep PESTERING them 🤮 This is love triangle in its worst form, especially since it is only one in the second leads heads while the leads are happily living their best lives, lol. (i am dealing with that in the current airing weekender Live Your Own Life and i want to beat the shit out of SML and/or get a restraining order, seriously.)

We really need more shows where both (sets of) leads have separate lovelines that never cross, tho. It happens all too rarely still which is a shame. (The few cdrama i have watched so far do this better as they always had a main and secondary couple, but ofc the love triangle/delulu ex bs is a trope there too ugh)

This 2ML is one of the few good, bearable ones because he was supportive all the way through like a big brother to FL, keeping his (potential) little crush on her to himself instead to impose his (unwanted) feelings upon her. I really liked their dynamic. Closest it can get to a family with ML being her husband and SML being her brother hehe.

Also she has told him she is feeling uncomfortable around him and doesn't want to meet him anymore before, among other things. Like, how many variations of NO do you need to see that Hyoshim did exactly that, at several occasions? But i am certain she could even perform a whole song of rejection while doing a handstand and this delulu bully would not listen. 🙄

Sure, she is more candid with Taeho in refusing him, but that is also a matter of level of comfort and feeling of equality she has with him. She knows that he is going to respect her boundaries and won't retaliate over hurt feelings unlike Taemin. Taemin is a that kind of creepy dude that refuses to acknowledge a no in its various forms and even pettily blames the woman for and gets angry at her for rejecting him. And sadly irl we have seen time and time again what happened next then when a woman dared to say no to a dude, especially a powerful one. So i can't blame her for treading carefully, given their imbalance in power and standing.
