i knoooooow it really annoyed me too for a while, but i promise they do get better later on. It takes a divorce…
Been a while since I watched so I don't really remember when exactly but I think they get back together somewhere in the 30-ish eps (full hour version) and it is only going uphill then with this couple. Their second chance romance is really well done like everything else in this family drama tbh
i expected it to be a serious healing drama or tearjerker for some reason and it is deliciously chaotic instead with Haesun talking to a dog at the end of that teaser 😂
woo hak doesn't have ml look idk how to explain this forsure kiho will be bo geol
yeah plus that whole bg childhood story is ML/FL is typical kdrama romance setup tbh.unless the writer flips the script on this of course (but i don't think so tbh)
There isn't love triangle .... But a girl love the ML and a boy love the FL.. And two of them is very annoying…
to answer your question and bluntly at that; The breakup happens midway thru as fl runs away and ghosts ML for a year bc it is true love you see. Lol. Which is the most contrived and pisspoor done plot poiht to bring in drama for the sake of drama, as it totally broke the flow of any story before and the character development of everyone since the midway timejump is handled as poorly with no sense of time or changes happening despite the passage of time. Total stasis, except for FL returning with a baby who is actually the only good part about this drama lmao. The leads also perpetually are subjected to suffering they never have a quiet moment that lasts more than five minutes before the next tragedy breaks hell loose over them. It is agony and exhausting to watch, tbh.

i periodically check in here to dissuade ppl from wasting their time in watching this garbage fire of a drama. Especially if you seek it out for romance... forget it, there is barely any bc writer/director destroyed quickly whatever mild buildup there was and thus the leads are always stilted and awkward with each other and remain roommates raising a baby together even after marriage. Zero chemistry. Read the top reviews for more info, which sums it up perfectly.
Much muuuuuch better fam dramas for romance to watch are:
Once Again My Father Is Strange Homemade Love Story Five Enough to name a few.
And/or try the currently airing family drama "Live Your Own Life" which feels like it was written in 2023 instead like 1970 like with this backward ass dungpile here.
The first episode was hard to get thru, not just due to their respective bad fam situations, but also it felt very drawn out. Still well acted of course, but eps 2 is better thus far and i love the detail that FL is calling Woohak "Ahjussi" which makes perfect sense as she is mentally still at 16 yrs old, so he is much older in her eyes. Reminds me of FL in Thirty But Seventeen tbh <3 Also Eun Bin had to eat a lot while filming haha

oh gosh it is today already? Damn the november is brutal... too many kdramas airing i am interested in haha. I finally caught up on the dog one with the O_O one expression ML, but it is fun nonetheless lmao. But i am behind with so many others tho lol.

Also afaik he isn't even allowed to meet/be with women in a more close manner in general, bc as prince widow he has to stay faithful to the princess and thus to the royal family. Otherwise it will be understood as treason/mockery of them.
Omg you are right. I just wish Rubi had an ounce of emotional intelligence and empathy from her character in OA…
Oh the young actress is good, for sure. Otherwise i would not want to strangle Rubi if she wasn't doing a good job with that obnoxious character lol. Hope there is more depth to her tho, as it is very one-note thus far, as said (which is due to the writing of her not the actress)
Can I get a kdrama or cdrama recommendation like this ? Smooth, without any heavy trauma, family oriented and most…
Once Again Five Enough Maybe My Father Is Strange (have not watched it yet but seems chill) Go Ahead and Meet Yourself seem to fit the bill on the Cdrama side I think.
I'm starting to think that Shim Jung Woo becoming a widower prince was the Left State Minister's plan. He knew…
i don't think you are too far off because her dying exactly on the wedding day when she appeared to be at good health before that is quite a bit sus tbh. I wonder if we are getting further into that tho.
