i think some are confused as to why Hyoshim reacted this way in the end and let go of a drunk Taeho as if feeling guilty when Taemin saw them together. It has, unlike some assumption here nothing to do with her "liking Taemin." Hahaha, that could not be further from the truth as she is uncomfortable with Taemin in general, and already told him so. However you have to remember that Taeho even if taking a break atm, is still her client. And she has the rule from work to not socialize with clients outside of the gym. She even said this to drunk Taeho that she has to file a written apology at work if people see her drinking with a client in private, but drunk Taeho was also cutely concerned with bringing her home personally to ensure she is safe, so they ended up sharing the taxi after all 😂 (Hajoon plays the most adorable drunk person, i swear)

So Taemin saw them and knew they were together and this could mean a lot of conflict for Hyoshim at work. Especially seeing that Taemin is VIP client and could make her life hell easily with complaining to her boss, if he were so inclined. And she is also aware that he reacted super weird about her telling him she does not want to eat with him any longer to which TM saId in his usual petty fashion: I hope you said the same to Taeho (or similar) bc this man is an actual pissbaby and should take up therapy for his inferior complex toward his cousin, yikes. Either way, HS clearly did not expect to meet TM that late at night there and this she was mighty surprised and also not feeling guilty but is definitely concerned that TM goes to her boss with it. Also, to a smaller part she is aware of the feud between the cousins and also deep down that she starts to like Taeho romantically, even if she is still denying it. Hence this all adds to it.

And honestly I have no doubt that this creep is going to use it to pressure her. In the preview he is already pisses me off with his passive aggressiveness aka Oh so you are eating out with TH bc he is on the cute side, but not with meeeeee????" Sir, mister pissbaby sir. If you had an ounce of self-awareness you would notice that HS likes TH bc he isn't full of himself, actually listens and apologizes for past mistakes made. Might learn a thing or two, but you wont since you are the center of the universe already of course lmao. 🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄

My guess is she has an ED. Her relationship with food is destroyed due to the fear it could be poisoned as it was in her childhood which certainly was the work of her fam not the housekeeper. So now even grown up she struggles to keep any food down I guess.

No problem haha. The leads also start out as disliking each other but it changes when ML hurts his back exercising (in eps 7, i think?(. Their bickering is a give/take tho and everything happens on equal footing with them.

The student brother and Mirim who lives next door to him in the dorm is a very interesting pairing too. The maknae couple started out amusing but they are just annoying by now, aka immature af and them sharing one dead braincell.

In contrast what i like about Taeho and Hyoshim is that has always been on equal footing with these two. Like they started out disliking each other equally, their bickering has always been a give a take as well, and now their tentative attraction to each other is also developing in the same speed. Like no one is ahead with their feelings and head over heels over the other. Instead it is a gradual falling and getting to know each other for both of them. It is just nicely written and believable at that.

(The way Hyoshim forgot everything, even her client for a moment as she zoomed in on Taeho's unexpected appearance in the gym had me giggle tho 😆)

I haaaaaate the way he treats her so much tho. Like with everyone, he dismisses what he does not want to hear (her telling him she is uncomfortable and does not want to eat with him again) downright to a little gaslighting/belittling because he is a petty asshole who does not tolerate when someone has another opinion than his, least of all daring to show interest in someone that is not him.

I swear if Taemin had a tiktok account it would be full of "I AM THE MAIN CHARACTER LOOK AT THESE NPC'S" vids with him filming people going on about their day and ridiculing them bc he is so much more important than they are 💀

You know how to piss off and scare Taemin? Just stand in front of him and whisper "Taeho, Taeho, Taeho." and run away, because he has clearly become TM's boogeyman 😂 His faaaaaace when Hyoshim called him Taeho by accident (bc we know he is on her mind instead hahaha)

did you miss the part where she has ABSOLUTELY ZERO interest in Taemin at all, to the point where she is very uncomfortable in his presence? That scene was just her doing her job, taemin is the one made it weirdly sexual and creepy aka interpret more into it than there is with her correcting his exercise form. It is clearly shown that it is all in his head only and one-sided. Did you not pay attention?

Nope. Zero. Nada. The delulu is just very strong with 2ML, is all. Hyoshim however is fully uninterested in him beyond a client-trainer relationship, even is downright uncomfortable with and around him. It is completely different with ML Taeho and you will notice the difference when you watch it. She is polite but clear with her boundaries, but ofc 2ML is so wrapped up in himself that he does not LISTEN and is creepily possessive/niceguy with her. So the the only love triangle is the one in Taemin's head, along with the wedding and five kids he has already planned with HS, when in truth she only ever (starts to have) has interest in ML Taeho.

different strokes. Have seen him in various dramas by now and this actor has always been too much of a pretteh flower boy for me, and is also relying on his looks to get gigs. Kinda explains why he is stuck as SML tho heh as he ain't hired for his acting talent that is for sure 🙃

Her ahjussi reminds me of FL in Thirty But Seventeen. But that character was mentally well 17 (at first) so made sense that she called ML that for a long time. Dunno what this says about the maturity or rather lack thereof in regards of Taehee tho 😂

Yeah timeline wise aka in the drama story itself it really happened fast. Taeho went from disliking Hyoshim and bickering with her whenever he saw her to soft, smiley teasing boi telling her she is pretty in about a week. I generally like how the progress of characters and relationship is written but especially with Taeho/Hyoshim and Hyojoon/Mirim it feels very natural and gradual like it would happen irl, maybe.

Hmm i may write up a timeline of them later if that helps heh, since the crumbs we have gotten each episode with them slowly come together to a cake, especially in today's eps (11) with them drinking together heh

that was me with the trauma dumping haha. Like he spouts completely situational inappropriate horrific tales from his life to whoever has the misfortune to be in his vicinity at that moment without any awareness or care if people want to hear it or if it is the right moment for them. Especially with Hyoshim last week it was very out of place to talk about how his father always got beaten up and thus he tried to get good notes etc bc she is a literal stranger, barely acquaintance with him. Dude just because she trained you does not mean she is also your therapist. And Taemin surely likes to monologue his way thru situation with a complete lack of awareness and care for the other person. He is all "what about me" the personified Main Character Syndrome who thinks all the other people are just NPC's where he can load off his dialogue. He does not give a single damn about someone's feelings, thoughts and opinions he just wants to talk about himself all the time and how he looks and is seen by others. Like he actually THANKED and paid the staff for"taking good care of his grandmother" the same people involved in drugging and keeping her hostage. What the hell? Tells you everything you need to know about his rotten egoistical character. No sob story in the world makes it right what his parents have done to granny nor that he has the audacity to take away that totaled car from the crash that soothes TH's grief. He does not get to decide how other people deal with their grief and problems just because he perceives himself as center of the universe. What makes it worse is that he very likely sees himself as gracious and kind and "doing the best for others" without any ounce of self-awareness whatsoever, which are the woooooorst people of all tbh. Aka the perceived victim and good guy in the story when they are clearly the VILLAIN.

Juxtapose this with Taeho, who may have been bratty and rude in the beginning but actually IS a good guy that he is just hiding beneath it all as a defense mechanism due to all the hurt he has been endured. He is however genuine in his reactions and emotions, unlike TM who wants to appear nice all the time when he clearly is not. Be it annoyance (his bickering with HS), being hurt (his back and needing HS to accompany and feel for him) concern (him calling HS bc he heard she was sick and tells her he is worried) his despair and anger when they steal away his parents memento (punch TM) or soft flirty boi (you are pretty) He is very straightforward and honest which i love about his character and it is SUCH a difference to Taemin that becomes clearer with each episode. So no wonder Hyoshim is reciprocating and open toward Taeho while being uncomfortable with Taemin.
