Yep, noticed that from the start with him. As soon he saw Taeho train with Hyoshim, he became waaaaay more passive-aggressive and petty toward him. And it only continued from there, all the little things to make Taeho feel bad/ostracized and "put in his place." He is a sneaky sob so it is subtle but noticeable if you pay attention. And if he already reacts this way toward TH for the offense of just existing in his space (and having the audacity to train with his crush) i dread to think how he reacts when Taeho starts to actively pursue Hyoshim and she reciprocates (unlike with TM) and they start dating while TM has already planned out his marriage with HS in his head. This is gonna be ugly for sure 😬
This is better written than the whole of TRHC and that drama somehow even achieved 20%+. Hopefully this drama…
In hindsight it still bewilders me how TRHC could create such buzz and relatively high ratings at times for the abysmal quality it had. It was never good attention but that dumbass of a writer operated under the motto all attention is good attention and it showed in how chronically depended he was on viewers feedback and falling into the loop of creating plots to create feedback/outrage without any rhyme or reason for the overall story. It was a mess and not even an entertaining one, particularly in the end. LYOL in contrast is already much more grounded and better structured and the writer is confident in the story she wants to tell instead of the headless chicken shit we had with TRHC. I hope its quality continues and also will reflect then positively in its ratings

I am not sure where you see kindness and care with Taemin bc he is a bully under a nice guy facade. He is making veiled threats hidden beneath kind words, takes on gladly that suggestion of putting TH "in his place" and shows a lot of passive aggressiveness and pettiness when things do not go his way in general. He is shady and underhanded but does his best to *appear* nice, which creeps me out tbh. Sure he is kind to his parents but it makes you question why he never bothered to look closer what they were doing all these years? Nor what happened to his grandmother? Or does he know and does not care? For me it seems this way because he profits from it after all. Unlike his sister who does know and hates it and her mother for it, which is among the reason she chose to stay away from the family (tho she really needs to tell Taeho ffs) Another reason why i like her and not him, And it is also not fair to blame her for letting Hyodo crash at her place. She does not know of his situation or that of HS due to him, that is fully on Hyodo, that rotten cowardly bastard. i hope he gets flushed out his hidey hole more sooner than later so he has to face the consequences instead of HS in his stead.

But in the preview at least Taeho gets to know she is sick when he is going back to the gym and it seems he seeks her out? Since he also scolds her for being out and about in another audio snippet heh. It also seems that HS finally stands up to TM and tells him to stop his advances, maybe? If so that love triangle is the shortest one ever lol and was only brought up to catch Taeho's attention toward HS and give him a little nudge needed. Though even without TM in the picture their relationship is progressing quite naturally as TH's annoyance already made way for curiosity and concern for her. They do need more scenes together tho which hopefully will happen in the next episodes. Lets see if she goes back to PT'ing him and if he can be an attentive student/client after all 😁 (I hope so, bc all the small touches and general closeness while correcting his exercise form is such a good potential to make Taeho's heart flutter haha)
As for Hs's "father" screw him, no forgiveness for abandoning his wife and his FOUR kids decades ago. He can go swim with the fishes for all i care. Unfortunately this being a family drama we may see a redemptive arc for him later on, but i hope the writer does not take this beaten path for once. We will see.

hmm 30 is much too late given how they are starting to build up first attraction from Taeho's side already (that he may not be aware of yet but he was also so pleased with himself after the phone call😂) I think we are going to see a continuous and gradual build up of their relationship from enemies to lovers bc the writer has been good in that so far. Hence eps 20 or a bit earlier like 17-18 seems much more likely than 30 heh. Like Taeho already said (in the viki subs) that dislike must have turned into affection 😁
Ratings went from 14,3 on saturday to 16,8% on sunday. So that is a steady upward trend that hopefully continues this way with now again regular airing of the episodes :D

it is a spin off, not a season 2. It is set in the same universe but has complete new chars and story. Humor got updated to 2023 so thankfully a 100% less homophobic but still quirky with over the top men flying thru the air scenes. Things like that. There is a drug crime subplot now instead of serial killing. It has a fresher more modern feel than SWSBS which has aged terribly in general imo.

It is fun tho to compare the kocowa subs (that dramahood uses) with the viki ones, bc they can be so different while saying the same thing basically. Which goes to show how much korean depends on interpretation of its words lol.
What struck me hard in the feels in ep 7 tho is the parallel between Hyoshim and Taeho showing how utterly alone they *both* are. They have no one to confine in and both are constantly living among a pack of wolves that watches and judges every of their moves.

dramahood is letting me down today, still no subs or raw eps 7, so i might as well wait for viki tomorrow 🤷♂️ From what i have seen in the raw on kisskh (skipped only thru bc audio was out of sync) it is a typical filler episode that you would usually find in the saturday slot. I hate that we are having uneven episodes now ugh. Can't they air like a double episode one time or something to even things out?
