Yes that was so cute. He is generally genuine in his reactions, be it bickering when annoyed, pouting when not/disregarded or being a big baby when hurt. I honestly prefer that straightforwardness to Taemin's Mr. Nice Guy facade where you never know what the guy is actually thinking or wants.

And TH wanting HS to accompany him in the car in a complainy-cute way while being hurt actually shows that he is craving attention, so i really expect him to be a clingy puppy bf later on with HS haha (i bet he has a lotta attention/love to give as well tho :D) Also he was definitely jealous in saying TM is too handsome so he does not want her to train him again and faked his back acting up when she called him out for being childish about it, hahaha. Is he a brat? Sure, but he is also genuine, no pretense or hidden agenda here. Beyond maybe wanting to be around her and getting to know her better 😁 (which his "I am a softie you know and you grew on me" already expressed btw hehe)

Not surprised she is a piss princess. She never learned otherwise with her mother powdering her ass all her life and treating the rest of the family like second class citizen. Oh i have not watched the raw yet but it is an expected trajectory of Taemin tbh. He had been disproportionately petty and passive aggressive toward Taeho from the start. So don't say i haven't warned yall when he goes off the rails later on, lol. He really rubbed the wrong way from the start while i always have liked Taeho despite his cold and bratty exterior. I think HS asking why is her way of deflecting bc she already felt put on the spot with the do you have a boyfriend question. It was obvious that she did not want to talk about it with TM, and yet he kept prodding and only letting it rest when she did not reciprocate his inquiry. Yeah i also noticed that HS is way more herself with TH than TM. She is meek with TM, polite does not want to offend him while openly bickering with Taeho and dishing out everything that is on her mind, taking none of his nonsense haha. Thus is no surprise TH has grown curious about her and even feeling the first bits of attraction toward her, despite all claims of how he "does not like her."

She is also forcing Phillip to take golf lessons he does not want and hates to do bc it looks good for the son to play a rich sport, and then yet complains how much they spend on them. And they actually had a nice home before, but she wanted to move into that broom closet because it looks good to others to live there in that "rich district" and because it is close to the her bratty daughter's school. No matter how much everyone else in the family suffers under those new living conditions. i don't find him sweet tbh. Idk but there is something that bothers me with his character, that underlying sense of uncalled possessiveness maybe. He is a bit shady, too much of a mr. nice guy. Plus if you watch HS' reactions, she isn't really comfortable with him, just polite.

He is in fact, maybe without meaning to, adding to her mountain of problems with his advances. As said, i noticed Hyoshim has never felt comfortable with that, she was always keen to keep it polite but distant. And he is putting her into an awkward position too, since he is an important client she cannot afford to offend in saying outright no which is 😬

I like it way more than the original already, which given i rated it 6,0 is not that hard but still lmao. I actually did not plan to watch this show due to the homophobia and cringy humor in the og, but that was 2017 and the spin off moved with the time, thankfully.

It is fresh, quirky and simply fun and in large parts that is due to the fast pace and the cutie patootie FL who is genuinely a good person but not a doormat. Leave your sense for realism at the door tho in order to fully enjoy it. Some cliches apply but oh well, just roll with it. Oh and i love how the leads are hitting it off from the start, without any bickering very amicable. Just two kind people getting to know each other which i find refreshing after all the enemies to lovers dramas i watch(ed) lately.
