i don't get any notifications of your msg either, weird. Right now i am trying to finish Homemade Love Story... at eps 36 now and loving it. While the main plot is a bit meh (i watch these parts on double speed), the leads are so good here: smart, perceptive, outspoken, proactive... and this in a family drama of all things lol. They also have one of the most healthy relationships i have seen in a kdrama. Reminds me of May I Help You in their level of support and communication with each other. Lots of cute skinship too (like hugs, holding hands) and ML is build like he gives the best hugs. A koala indeed heh.

Also started Twinkling Watermelon, it is nice, has a back to the future-esque feel to it. And i am trying to make progress in The Worst Of Evil because Wookie, The Killing Vote bc Park Hae Jin and Kidnapping day but after Behind your touch concluded i am a bit mystery-thrillered out atm. I have also picked up Be Melodramatic and One The Woman to see if they are worth my time but so far not any of them has grabbed me yet. Waiting for Wed and DWY tho first and foremost <3

Yes, i would love that. Maybe set S2 after another timejump, and them being a married power couple solving episodic cases ala taxi driver 2 together (the format) Would be awesome tbh

Try From Now On Showtime, if you have not yet seen it (which is likely as it is a pretty overlooked show sadly)

It has the same tropes of supernatural events, tragic past lives, comedy, destined love/reincarnated lovers, curses, chaotic lead dynamic, thriller/spooky elements, and well done slow burn romance and character development. ML is the loner staying away from people here (outside his magic shows), not FL tho they both have the same bickering but also wholesome supportive and wholesome "I am the one truly knowing/understanding you" dynamic in their quieter scenes. Just has 100% more (lovable) ghosts hehe.

Really not sure what to make of Taemin yet. He seems a bit shady to me, as if his niceness only lasts as long it serves him & things go his way. His reaction seeing TH train with HS was really off/disproportionate and a bit of a🚩 tbh. Like this guy was so pressed about it and HS simply doing her job that he gave TH a hard time in the company afterwards. I smell an incoming inferior complex. I don't like him much rn, bc he feels too much like Mr. Nice Guy™ who insults you as soon you reject him/do things he dislikes tbh, lmao,

Taeho at least is straightforward when he is annoyed etc and shows/lets you know it (like in the PT session lmao) instead of a sneaky backstabber. I can respect that, especially since he has found his match in Hyoshim who does not take any of his bratty shit 😂

Also, important to mention is that it has a non-linear narrative, aka it is not as straightforward in its storyline as other rom-coms, but the pieces will come together later on, dw. It also has thriller/mystery and some light melo-elements so it is more of a genre mix than pure rom-com. You will see :D

Three. He was a unassuming guy turned psychopath in Welcome2Life too. So it is not outlandish to always suspect his characters of hidden agenda lmao

Taeho's and Hyoshim's bickering is sending meeeee 😂 He is annoyed that she, as PT corrects his form and she is throwing it right back at him in reminding him that she is the trainer here, not him. I love how they go toe to toe with each other, like it is on equal footing instead of one of them beating down the other. Enemies to Lovers done right so far and their bickering just exudes chemistry. Taeho definitely has found his match, in more than one way. Bleeeeessssssss 😆

if you like a good mystery thriller that keeps you guessing, than yeah, tone shifts halfway thru. Yebun does not get any smorter tho 😂

he killed because he was excited to see their last memories flashing in their eyes and with him being a complete psycho that is as good as any motive tbh. I actually prefer it sometimes when there is no grand plan for murder, but the killer just enjoys it bc it makes it all the more evil.

To imply that his mother is no longer around to take care of the kid. Because well, this psycho killed her then calmly took the kid to make himself look like a loving father. Diversion, deflection etc Easy as.
