There're a lot of subtle actions so you need to pay attention to them. It may seems abrupt but his love for LX progress little by little.

I think JX may have been graceful for Ah Mo but once he saw that it's was LX, I think he's going to have other plan. Not to mention that her mark came back and he was the only one that saw it. I think we're going to have a lot of sweet moments in the next 2 days.

Yes, I understand that they’re both older than LX, but the fact that JX grow up with her mother, make it extra creepy. It’s like your long-distance uncle took an interest in you. Other than the age factor, JX tried to kill her and if his power is not seal up, she would have been dead. I don’t see any love coming from him toward her but just scheming on his part. All I see is just 2 faces.
I think LX learned and grow during her time with JC. While it comes off like she’s just doing things for him, but she has her own conviction. She thought about consequences and own up to them. She didn’t do things stupidly.

I think he falls for her even earlier than the moon cake scene. It started after the banquet and then definite around the time where she got hurts.

I agree that he was being careful in heaven but I also feel that had his plan work, he wouldn't hold himself back even in heaven realm. Once he decided to acknowledge his feeling for her, he really didn't care.
But with her being in mortal world and not remember him is making it so much more fun and exciting. I just hope that it doesn’t come off as creepy. Poor Si Ming has to keep on reminding Jiu Chen not to meddling with Ah Mo’s life.

I personally don't think it's going to be love triangle but Jing Xiu is there to cause trouble and he wants something from Ling Xi.

I also think that people are being accustomed to see big gesture of affection rather having emotion being shown in a subtle way in a lot of recent dramas.
If there’re any evidence that people need to see, I think the one instance where he doesn’t hold himself back was when she got hurt fighting Yuan Tong and he took care of her. That to me is a very big deal, she could have been taking care of by Shi San, Qing Yao or the other maid, but he personally look after her. Even prior to that, he kept on wondering where she was and asked everyone about it.

The mortal arc would have been skipped had Ling Xi revived 3 days after her execution but because she didn’t; she has to go through the mortal trial.

Yup, I think the "reborn in the mortal realm" would be skipped if she didn't get dispirited. The pacing are very fast in these last few eps. I wonder if the blue guy is going to get any kind of punishment.
