If there is one thing TVN cannot do, is creating a story that is interesting for the full 16 episodes. Reviewing…
Your comment got me a little worry so I googled TvN dramas and right now I'm hoping for this series would be like "Signal" and less like "Hotel Del Luna or Prison Playbook or even Goblin”. Those series were really captivating at the beginning but fell flat near the end or draggy. Anywho, guess I need to lower my expectation a little bit.
The rock bugged me too. I figured that when he was his older brother, he gave it to his younger self and told…
I think he only became Huang Yu Xuan psych doctor after the passing of WQS. In some way, I feel like he's obsessed with the moody, depress CYR state of mind rather than the look.
I just finished this series and all I can say is the doctor character is such an f’ed up character. This series covered so many topics and they handled it very delicately without being preachy is really something. Almost every episode made my heart ache and boy do I cried so much for the 4 characters. Ahh, why did I waited this long to watch this.
This series is as good as I expected it to be but one thing seriously confuses me. Go hae-ri is working for NIS…
What I found unbelievable is Cha Dal Gun can easily take her gun and pin her to the wall easily? I would think that she should at least put up a fight.
Although I agree with everyone that they could have shortened the time spent on the moral realm and added more…
I agree with everything you said. I also love the mortal arc too and I hate JX as a character and really not into the actor acting. I agree that LX has the most character development but so does JC. To me, the mortal arc is so much more emotion in so many levels. I don’t think JX like Amo or LX as a person but the role they serve with his purpose. I think he love the idea of having someone care for him. Like how Amo care for him and LX’s mom when they were young. JX is a selfish person and all of his words ping pong from one thing to another as long as it serves his purpose. Like he wanted to kill Zhong Hao for so long, but once he found out Zhong Hao and what he can do for his revenge, he changed his mind and turned on LX’s mom. It’s the same with how he doesn’t recognized LX but only Amo but changed his words once LX is came back. Everything about this character is just repulsive.
Pretty much from the very beginning. He didn't know her but he lied and said she didn't trespass on his resting…
I don't think it was at first sight either; he pay attention to her when they were in the heaven with her dad but started to pay attention more after the end of ep2 and it gradually build up afterward. I'm rewatching and I noticed that he's very aware of her, especially when she's not around. LOL
Really liked this drama because of how undramatic and reasonable everything was. Misunderstandings were sorted…
Very much my sentimental as well. They should focus on making YT the ultimate bad guy, her storyline is more compelling and it's not very typical drama bad guy. I really like Hai Ling performance, not overly dramatic acting but very subtle throughout the series. JX just feel pathetic to me and the actor acting is just not good enough to bring out whatever the scriptwriters want for the character.
Honestly, it was a beautiful ending. it was as long as it needed to be to convey the emotions they have felt.....though…
That's my take on the ending as well. He came back and set up the trail of toys for her to find him outside. I really like how JX and LX both working as a team. I’m satisfied with the ending. Him coming back also wraps up very nicely too. They gave clue on how JC is going to get out from JC and YT conversation. Tian Jun and JC's shi fu close the door before, with one inside and another outside. Since JC's shi fu and Tian Jun are still around so they should not have any problem with getting JC out. I think it was what they were meeting for. If JC’s shi fu has enough strength to get out if they leave JC to have his normal immortal life and not involve in the GOW business.
I’m glad it had a happy ending. Only thing that would’ve made it better is if they had cut back on the mortal…
From the beginning until the end, everything she does is to bring her family honor and to be close to him. So you’re not wrong to say that she’s weak and misguided. During their conversation at the end, I think she finally get that there’s no turning back and she accepts her fate. JX is still pathetic until the very end.
The pain is real this dumb episode 58. Is making happy ending that difficult. Understand nothing yet am crying…
Its duty and the love he has for his master that why he made the decision. Yun Feng volunteers to take his place, but only Jiu Chen has enough power to combat it. Jiu Chen is the 3rd powerful person in all 6 realms of heaven.
Si Ming was complaining to Shi San that Jiu Chen want him to change Yen Hua fate, not only does he want her to have a good life but the life of a queen that get to be with the king and the king only love the queen. It's so hard that Jiu Chen might as well take his life.
I found it so stupid that JX got so petty and jealous towards the end he's acting like LX forced him to do everything…
JX is a character that I don't really get. Not sure if it's the actor that didn't do a good job. But from the beginning to the end, I found him to be a petty person, slimy and at time he acts like people owe him. I really do hate his over acting sometime. He tries to be ambiguous with his plan and play both sides but it just doesn’t come off as either good or bad. As much as everyone hates YT, I found her character evilness more compelling. Overall, I think she's the ultimate bad guy in this series.
I know. I was pissed when I watched some of her scenes then I forwarded the rest. She stayed around for too long. At least I can tolerate YT and her evilness. She's a very compelling evil character. I like Hai Ling subtle performance rather than the usual over the top evil character tends to do.
Yes, the pairing is not believable at all and I feel no chemistry. Had high hopes but No Ni is utterly disappointing…
Well, all I can say is sorry that this series disappoint you. This is not big gesture of love or fluff romance type of series. But Ni Ni can’t emote? And no chemistry between the leads? Have you watch Ni Ni’s scenes with tearing running down her face. And their kisses scenes, Chang Chen is certainly not kissing a dead fish.
