I actually don't know when, last I heard, they're still working on it. All I know is if c-fans are not satisfy, their rating on douban is going to take a big dive. I'm going to wait for the new edit then decide if it's worth seeing to the end. But I'm still going to check out weibo and twitter to get spoil.

Well I tweets youku my disappointment. I'm only a casually c-drama viewer. Once this series end, I'll be on a c-drama 闭关. LOL
The characters are now just plot device, so c-fans are not wrong.
BTW - the scriptwriter came out and said she didn't write a dog blood script so it's youku editing butchery....

Thank your further explaining my point. That my whole issue with this series right now. No one care about ZZS and his well-being at all. ZZS character is just a plot device at this point. Sigh....
You're not missing anything, the editing for episode 31 and 32 was a complete messed hence why they're doing back re-editing it.
While I hope the new edit turn out well and we're getting a better ending than where we are right now, but I highly doubt it.
I think now I understand why ZZH kept on saying GJ doesn't love ZZS that much because WKX came off as that right now to me. All that sweet talk meant jack to him once he got ZZS trust. I'm crying for ZZS and ZZH.

I'm more critical than you and right now the script writing and editing are very problematic. Depending how everything end. If it's exactly as what I had read. I'll give this series a 1 on here and 1 star on douban.
My love for the 2 actors will not change. I only watch c-drama in every few years or decade kind of person so I'm not the targeted viewers for a lot of these series. Peace out.

I saw that, GJ did research on ZZH by looking at his WB pages before they started filming. But 3 months of GJ singing, I've to say ZZH is a great dude. I would not have that much patience with GJ singing. LOL

After rescuing ZZS, we didn’t see WKX beat the crap out of DPJ, whereas he beats the all of the people in the beggar clan for making ZZS split blood in earlier episode.
We don’t see ZZS recovering from his wound, he up and about in a matter of a day. Not to mention that A Xiang beat on his chest where the wound should be and there’s no blood. There should be emotional scenes of WKX taking care of ZZS but they gave us nothing. Whereas we had scenes where ZZS took care of WKX when he fainted and scene of WKX took care of Han Ying. The torture that they did should be very damaging to ZZS body so why showing us that but nothing afterward. This whole thing made WKX come off a very heartless person that doesn’t care about ZZS health cause he went on and put his “fake” death plan into place.
This is why I’m calling out on the scriptwriter for turning WKX into an asshole. We had the famous scene in ep27 so to me that mean their relationship is at the point where they understand each other and WKX should know the ZZS will die with him. By creating a fake death scenario, it’s basically killing everything they build up to this point about trust and communication. How can WKX not factoring in that ZZS will die along with him based on everything that happened. Then when he comes back, ZZS is going to die in a few days. So the scriptwriter let them both suffer more pain together then give the viewers a sexy white hair WKX to call it all good. This is pissed poor script writing right here.
All of these things happened and no one make a big stink about it. It seems like everyone is okay as long as there’s a happy ending with a sexy white hair WKX.
For once, I'm very glad c-fans is raising hell because they’re going to re-edit episode or episodes, not sure how far back but def 32 and I do hope they take their time to edit the rest. I don’t want the above scenes to stay and leading to the ending. It make my blood boil.
I'm going to watch ZZH and GJ interview. They make me happy. No more comments about these last few episodes from me. Thank you for reading and sharing your opinions.

I actually don't know. My anger toward ep33 preview is not at the actors. I love them both dearly. It's toward youku and their choppy editing and so far they did some butchering with WKX and ZZS character. A lot of WKX quality that we love at the beginning we don't see them in recent episodes (not the flirting but the caring toward ZZS). Some scenes should be very emotional but it passed by like nothing. What I don't get is that everyone seem to be fine with it.
I already read someone prediction on how everything is going to play out and it's very on point right now... ¯so I'm just watching for confirmation. \_(ツ)_/¯

I'm watching the drama for what this drama offering only. I'm not going to read a book because of it. If I didn't start since the beginning, I'm not going to do it now. We're almost at the end. I'm going to see it until the end. I don't watch a lot of c-drama because most turn into shitty c-drama and there are too many to keep track of.
I'm crazy over the series because of the actors portraying the characters, not the other way around. I don't read every book for every adapted series. I have had watch a lot of Jin Yong series and I don't even need read his books to have an opinion on a series. Good acting is good acting, shitty script is shitty script. There no way to cover it up.
All of my comments had been about the series and the series alone.
Sure I come off overly dramatic but based on what was being shown so far, Youku had been choppy with their editing and it's very jarring to me. They're butchering not just ZZS character but WKX as well.
I just want to vent my disappointment with what I saw. I know most don't agree, so ignore my comments.

This is clearly the fault of the people working behind the scene. I really love Gong Jun and Zhang ZheHan. I honestly love both of them, they're very dorky and down to earth.
Damn Youku, you managed to ruin 2 characters in less than a week.

This will make WKX fans happy, me as a WenZhou, thank Youku, you're making WKX an asshole now. So this is how WKX treat his most loved one.

At of episode 32, it seems like the scriptwriter is not planning on turning him into a better person but making him an asshole.
So ZZS had been giving WKX time to open himself up and let ZZS inabout his secret. Thus far, WKX hadn’t said anything but things unfold because his secret as being a ghost valley came out. In the latest episode, there’s a theory that he’s hatching a plan with a few people to “fake” his own death without telling ZZS or Ah Xiang. Why would he do something like this? I don’t even know how they can be together after this, this is a huge betrayal.
They spent the most of the series building up the trust between these 2 characters and Youku is about to ruin the series as a whole.

At first I thought they were over-reaction but once I watched ep31 &32 and then read of the "fake death" theory. I'm just not okay with it. Youku is on their way of ruining this series.

If this is true then they are turning WKX character into an asshole, that's not how you treat the person you love the most. Especially after his conversation with Ah Xiang about who he loves more. How can they be together after this betrayal? I am hoping Youku go back and re-edit the rest of the series not only to correct the flow of events and not make WKX into an asshole. Just my 2 cents. Yeah, I'm going to beat this topic to death. And don't tell me that's how it is in the book. I'm talking about the drama and how it unfolds thus far. Youku is on their way of ruining this series.
