It's indeed heading toward as the WKX journey series, as how it intended for all of GJ fans. I didn't start this series because of WKX journey series; I started this for the WenZhou journey. SO give me that.

They're very successful in making viewers feel more sympathy toward WKX than ZZS.

Yeah, I don't know why people kept on mention the events in the book and don't get why the drama is ruining the characterization of ZZS. All of my frustration is gearing toward the trajectory of how everything unfolds.
They somehow somewhere turn ZZS into an object that is being use in way that need rather than a flesh out character with progression.
Not only are they ruining the character ZZS but they are about to ruin WKX as a freaking heartless bastard.

I feel like it’s a combination of scriptwriter and the editing. I hope I’m wrong but I feel like they may have cut a lot of ZZS scenes because of Gong Jun popular. Heck his red costume trend more than over what happened to ZZS.

I think when you watch episode 32, it becomes jarring that they don’t give a crap about ZZS character.

A lot of people don’t really care cuz they get WKX in a beautiful red costume. Sigh. Where the heck is my ZZS character development. The only thing that I’m hanging on with the character is ZZH acting.

They're going to re-edit not sure if 31 too but definitely 32. C-fans are asking for more of ZZS scenes so hopefully we get to see them.
There're only a few episodes left, if I feel like they're edit with too much focus on WKX then I'm going to lower my rating in douban and here. A lot of people in douban feel the same way about the handling of ZZS character, they are showing ZZH a lot of love and support.

I feel the same way, it seems like they cut a lot of scenes with ZZS recover or something. Like he's up and about in one day.
I thought I missed something when I watched the battle scene. After everything that happen, I feel like the editing team is trying to editing the episode in a way to get it trending.

I think they're editing the show to capitalize on their character. Just my opinion.

Yeah, it was so disjoined and out of nowhere. I love all of the WenZhou scenes but I don't like how they treat ZZS character. Mainly because a lot of tweets that degrading ZZS character.

They're having too much revenge scenes. We know too much at this point. I watch this because of their collective chemistry and I would like to see a balance character development for both.

Even if what ZZS is about to do is also about WKX. They managed to turn everything into a WKX problem. Han Ying dead too.
Someone complained that I posted too many negative comments. Oh well...

This is part of the series character development so I'm going to say what needed to be said. They did ZZS character dirty. They had ample of opportunities to develop the character but they didn't. Revenge type of series are being told in countless series. This series is about 2 males lead not one lead and one support. A great series need to have a well round character development for all major characters not just one or 2.
You can just ignore my comments if it get on your nerves.

Yeah, the scriptwriter was like, you get to see ZZS story in the later part. WHERE IS IT? This is now WKX series no matter what everyone said. I don't know if the editing team also purposed shift the storyline because Gong Jun is becoming popular?
Watching the last 2 eps pissed me off so much. I'm so glad c-fans are giving them hell.

I'm not going to read the story. I'm venting about the drama and how it played out. I'm not making the actors responsible, I'm blaming everything on the scriptwriter and the editing team.
The scriptwriter said more focus would be on ZZS in the later part of the series. I want to know where is it at now?
They're screwing up a lot of thing in regard to ZZS character but I kind of let it slide but everything has a tipping point.
The latest development is a WKX character assassin if it's true. Don't build up how much WKX love ZZS but when it really matter, WKX is the one that stuck the knife the deepest.
They freaking did ZZH dirty at this point. Without ZZH, this series wouldn't be this good with only Gong Jun. It takes 2 actors to create dynamite chemistry not just one sided.

I'm really happy that c-fans is raising hell about it. They freaking ignoring ZZS losing his senses and now this bs editing. They haven't really shown any characters really care about ZZS up until this point too.
But WKX situation is really a character assassin if it's true. The heck with the build up of how much he love ZZS up until now. And with ZZS willing to die for him too.
I'm too emotionally invest in this character right now. LOL

Man, I really have a bone to pick today. With what happened to WKX and c-fans are buzzing that a few people are in it together. Why in the world would WKX left ZZS out of the plan? All of his talk about "I'm waiting for you to open up to me "and then bam, "yeah I'm just going to plan with everyone else but not you" is going to work. They literally is going to character assassin WKX character if this is true.
Miss scriptwriter, you have a lot of explaining to do. Considering people are having a lot of high hope for you.
I'm 1000% in agreement with c-fans that Youku needs re-edit ep 31 and 32. . Otherwise I think people are going to flush the high rating down the toilet on douban. At least I am.
I will still support Zhang ZheHan and Gong Jun.
