Well, I want to see a WenZhou series and not a WKX series. To me the series right now is very much a WKX series. For people that love Gong Jun, it's a no problem to them. I like them both and I feel like the writer is bias and the series is becoming the typical revenge series rather than more. I only place the scriptwriter on a high pedestal because in the interview she said the later part of series will be focus on ZZS. Having a few scenes are not enough for character development. We get to know WKX very well for the last 32 episodes. We barely know much about ZZS in the last 32 episodes. Even with his losing his senses barely get covered, most viewers like me had to look for them. If you're telling story about 2 males leads than the storyline need to be balance, not one more than other. So you can't fault me to venting.

From the interview that I read, the scriptwriter said that the later part of the series will focus on ZZS, where's it at? I don't see it at all. I feel like the scriptwriter did ZZH dirty with ZZS character. ZZS character is underwhelm right now and the editing of ep32 is very problematic to me. How is ZZS recovered so fast? And scenes jumped from one to one rather having a flow. Why didn't we heard much about Tian Chuang, they only came out to serve a purpose rather than being a part of the story telling at this point.

At this point, I think the scriptwriter inadvertently turned this series into WKX series rather a series about WKX and ZZS. All everyone worried about is WKX and totally ignored ZZS pain and suffering. Most people are crazy over fan-service scene or the red outfit than anything else. Whatever arc the scriptwriter planned for ZZS is completely missed the mark. Where’s the build up that should have happened to let the viewers know what type of person he is. If not for Zhang ZheHan added more depth to the character than what was written. We would have seen a very boring bland ZZS. Adding a scene of ZZS confronted Jin Wang is not an arc. What was the point of him suffering with the giant hooks? It served no purpose other than ZZS suffering and why’s he recovering so fast? I’m so disappointed with the scriptwriter right now, and what is up with ep32 editing?

My gift to you. I've just become his fan because of this series. I person feel that he breaths more life into ZZS character than what was written so far by the script writer.
The main lead was the draw so I'm not complaining about it. I am a little disappointed that the series as a whole is still about revenge and redemption eventhough the script writer said that she put a lot of effort into not making it as such. Overall I'm still satisfy with the series. It's a whole lot more better than a lot of other series. So no complain, just some wishful thinking.

I feel like a lot of people don’t have a strong connection with ZZS is not really because of ZZH but more of a script writer or editing, I really don’t know. I personally feel that they could have elaborated a bit more on Tian Chuang to build a stronger characterization of ZZS. But we don't see a lot of it so the whole series seems to be more focus on WKX revenge and ZZS part became less as a part of storytelling. Because of this, a lot of the plot point reveal suffered, it makes the viewers feel like “uh, how did he comes to that conclusion” rather than “ah, that what Tian Chuang was all about, that what ZZS was all about”. I also feel they didn’t show enough scenes of ZZS are slowly losing his senses. Revenge and redemption are basically being covered in a lot of series but regret and forgiveness doesn’t get cover a lot. I personally feel that forgiving yourself for the mistakes or regrets are a very hard to overcome. You internalize a lot and only you can get yourself out of it. ZZS forgive himself and decided to live his life to the fullness not because of WKX but he learned to no longer blame himself. So like the script writer said, it was very hard for her to write ZZS character, so I should somehow let it go... sigh.... I actually was hoping there’re more scenes of ZZS characterization but there’re only 8 episodes left so the majority of the series was more or less focusing on the revenge.

I went to ChengDu during my china trip a few years ago and I really like their lifestyle. Drinking tea, practice taichi, and doing some dancing at night. It's a very relaxed city with great foods.
