I did watch this raw but it's so much better with eng sub. I'm very happy that he got recognition for this.
When the show first aired, I read a few first impression reviews and most was not impressed with the first episode. I personally found the 1st episode had a lot of background info. Once I picked up this series, I found out on douban that a lot of people were trying to smear this series by digging up his old stuffs. I don’t have any interest in knowing them right now.
While I'm not a fan of ZZH before this series but I'm familiar with his name in passing from c-ent websites and such. I am really impressed with both his and GJ fan club statement about not getting into fan war. I really like his personality and attitude.

They original named Wen, but since the father learned medicine from a teacher so he either got the Zhen name from the doctor or he took the doctor name. Since both of his parents passed, WKX used his original family name and gave himself the name KX. This is based on my 1 viewing with fuzzy memory.

I'm more heart broken for his character than WKX, mainly I can identified with what he went based on my own experience in the most recently raw episodes.

Yeah, we tried not to mention about censorship when it comes to this series. I personally don't care why but just enjoying this great series.
China fans tend to be very opionated but they're keeping everything on the down-low.

Now I'm a little worry for you. Most people seems to be able to see the episodes right away.T There are comments below about it.

Yeah, it pissed me off how people ZZH acting isn't all that remarkable. It's so much harder to act with just eyes and facial expressions. He also put a lot of effort into the physical aspect as well. Vulnerable but strong.
There're only a few actors or actresses eyes and facial expressions. Tony Leung Chiu Wai is the master of it and the 2nd one is Chang Chen.

ZZH disappear into ZZS. He deserves some recognition and just GJ alone.
It's very funny how Chinese fan call him "lao po" because of ZZS and when he has long hair. But they afraid to do it with his short hair. He makes them question how's that possible. LOL

The romance is still there. People are not happy that the flirting is not blatantly as much. I personally think they’re full on together and understand each other feeling.

Both ZZH and GJ are going to be on a few variety shows. I don't know all of their name but I'll look into it.
Anywho the question that being asked the most is "why everyone call ZZH lao po?" GJ's "lao gong" is non issue. I've to say they're very good with answering/dodging the question.

This is really funny because someone watch Avenuex's YT video and post the news in douban about what Avenuex said. Like she got her source from weibo and such. Anywho, they did a Bazaar magazine photo shoot before the series aired and now that they're becoming popular, it looks like they're going to get a 2nd photo shoot with Bazaar.

I beg to differ about Zhang Zhe Han acting. Gong Jun would not be able to perform his role this perfect if it wasn't for Zhang Zhe Han. I know that Gong Jun get a lot of love but don't go stir trouble about Zhang Zhe Han. Zhang Zhe Han also give a remarkable performance, just because he didn't do big gesture doesn't mean he didn't express a lot of the character emotions on screen.
They both did great and not one is greater than the other. Gong Jun character get the most attention.

I totally agree with what you said. The shidi/shixiong relationship didn't change anything. From my interpretation of WKX conversation, he think he's not a worthy disciple because of all the things he did.
I can't believe people are so hung up on this issue...

I'm joining you giving shout out to ZZH. I can so related to ZZS backstory, my heart broke for him. He did a very good job conveying it.

Totally agree, my favorite romantic movies are brokeback mountain and Happy together. I watched others but it doesn't hold a candle to those 2. They're the best kind movies.

People man. They just have issue with any series they do not like. They can be homophobia all they want, the rest of the world is working toward accepting it as part of our normal world.

Zhao Jing let the information out to force all of them to go back to Ghost Valley. It's a ploy for him to get the key hidden in there.

From all his questions and answers WKX told him. He deducted differences scenarios.
They showcased his skills without really telling you.
Ex: The thread that WKX told ZZS to be careful of when they wet to the forest. When WKX killed the fake Hanging Ghost/ Long-Tongues Ghost. The chopstick with nut on top of the cup scene. The ways how GX talked and behave.
A lot of their conversation seems like casual conversation but beneath it they both trying to figure each other out.
