OK, so how does SML go from liking FL to all of a sudden liking gorilla glue? That was such a weird transition…

Yes, she did. Episode 17 at 18:50. "How Su Tian died? I already told you -clearly- 5 years ago. But you didn't listen"

Actions speak louder than words. He can claim he trusts the FL all he wants, but you don't give someone THIS look and ask her THIS question if you trust her.

She already did. Episode 17, 18:50 mark, when they were talking at the tree.Min Hui: "How Su Tian died? I already…
He did tell her that he believes in her. But he also gave her those untrusting eyes.

Actions speak louder than words. But in this case, his word choice is also very hurtful. Immediately asking Min Hui "Is it like what he said?" shows that he doesn't trust her, regardless of how much he claims that he does.

I don't think he's in the wrong to pursue the truth. I honestly don't even think he's wrong to have doubts of a person he's only known for a few months. And she definitely isn't wrong for feeling hurt and not wanting to be in a relationship with a man who doubts her character. No one is really wrong in this situation. It's just the nature of a young relationship that they need to develop further.

He wronged her, so of course he should be the one chasing after her.
Despite them having a child already, it's a premature (probably not the best word) love. They've only been together for 3 months prior to the 5-year timeskip, and maybe a couple weeks after the timeskip. They're still building up their relationship, so Idk why people HAVE to see them together all the time. I think it gets stale. I enjoy seeing all sides of a relationship. Lovey-dovey moments after a couple gets together gets stale for me fast.

Guess we’re back to square one with FL. Girl, if he wants to know what happened, just tell him! He loves you.…

Title The Love You Give Me Spoiler
People upset about the FL, saying she doesn't listen to the ML... are we watching the same drama?
The FL DID give the ML a chance to explain the lawsuit. He just didn't want to fully explain what happened (that it was his sister/Hardy who did it behind his back). It's later revealed (on ep 15-16?) that the ML actually did consider filing a lawsuit, which is why he feels too guilty to shift all the blame to Hardy and his sister. The FL is 100% right to be upset with him.

The FL is also right to break up with him after the Chen Jia Jun / Su Tian incident. She DID explain to the ML what happened to Su Tian 5 years ago, but he didn't and still doesn't believe her. The ML isn't wrong to pursue the truth, but at the same time I can't help but sympathize with the FL because the man she loves has doubts about her integrity. She forgives him (because he isn't wrong to pursue the truth), but she still breaks up with him because she doesn't want to be in a relationship where she isn't fully trusted. Is it wrong of her to do so? Should she stay in a relationship with someone who proves time and time again that he doesn't trust her? Would you?

I watch for the ML (watching all of the actor's leading dramas), but I'm 100% siding with the FL to break up with the ML until he proves they can be in a healthy, trusting relationship.

You're talking about the plot, right? The storyline and character traits aren't the actors' faults.
yea WYW and WZQ are just reading & acting off the scripts given to them lol

I would like to say that wang yu wen is not good for wang ziqi because she is same as previous drama Push ML and…
Clearly, it's the ML who doesn't trust the FL, not the other way around... and I say this as a fan of WZQ.

What’s that whole thing about Min Hui saying she doesn’t really wear heels when she wear heels pretty much…
Maybe only at special gatherings?
I glanced over a few scenes, and she didn't wear heels in any of them.

So, the reason why the ML didn't clear up the lawsuit misunderstanding is because he actually did consider going through with it. I thought it was just the writer dragging out the misunderstanding in the laziest way possible by not having the ML simply explain what happened. I'm glad this is the case because I rather have an imperfect ML than having a bad taste in my mouth for the drama due to lazy writing.
And yet again he's shown to be a jerk in the flashback/end of ep 16. If he wasn't so handsome, I don't think this would be a ML I'd cheer for 😂

I don't know why some of y'all are blaming the FL. When she gave the ML the chance to explain, The ML kept saying useless things instead of just explaining what happened. Blame the stupid script instead. I'm livid that these 2 always get shitty, lazily written scripts. A random 12-year-old could probably think of a smarter way to create misunderstanding & angst.

episode 13 was painful to watch omfg like how hard was it to explain that it xin qi never wanted to file a lawsuit?…
It's not that she refuses to hear Xin Qi out, it's that Xin Qi literally didn't want to explain. All he needed to do was say Hardy f'ed up and it was the "chairwoman" and that he didn't know about it until a few minutes ago.
Such a stupid, lazy way to create a misunderstanding. Same thing happened in Once We Get Married. These 2 leads deserve an actual good script/story -_-

I'm liking the main couple (+ Quan Quan) more and more, and the side couples less and less. I found the 2nd couple cute at first, but their love feels so superficial at this point.
Everyone else seems to dislike Zhou Ru Ji, but I love seeing the ML bicker with the 2ML. As long as ZRJ doesn't "cross the line", I don't mind him.

Just finished ep 5 and wondering if anyone else uncomfortable with how he entered her home without her permission…
I think it depends on whether he actually "guilt tripped her into letting him stay there".
It was ultimately Quan Quan's approval + him persuading the FL by explaining the importance of having a father that allowed him to stay. If he went full-on guilt tripping her, then I would feel uncomfortable, but he didn't.

I can do anything just to watch Wang Zi Qi facial expressions!!!!
Give him a proper high-quality drama and he'll 100% be up there with the top actors. The amount of charisma and charm this man has is hard to put into words.

My Mom and Sister highly recommended this drama, I cant really trust their recommendations anymore 🙄🤣 So,…
imo
It's an ok show. The only reason to watch would be for the family dynamics of the ML, FL, and their child. The story isn't anything interesting. I personally enjoyed Once We Get Married more (same FL and ML) because it has a touch of angst & stirs up emotions more. So far, this has been more light-hearted. Maybe it'll change in the coming episodes.

I like secret child tropes so i'm up for this one. Will watch it after done airing. Anyways, is their first drama…
One of my favorites. It's objectively a "low quality" drama but the FL and ML chemistry is one of the best I've seen and single-handedly carries the drama. What's the point of any love-focused drama if the FL and ML have no chemistry, right?
Keep in mind if you don't like the 2nd couple, you can feel free to skip their parts.
