I agree with you about everything, except that they should or had already, received hate for Trapped. What I've…
Don't take this personally, but if true, these are totally ridiculous reasons. Did people get impatient that we had to wait for 8 movies before Harry Potter killed Voldemort? Or that killer is revealed in the last 10 minutes in any kind of 2-hour mystery movie?

And there was plenty of fluff in the second half. The fluffiest part was in the second part actually, the whole birthday celebration for Tang-Yi was one of the most romatic scenes ever. And that hospital scenes after he shoots ShaoFei...

Frist of all, I loved this show. It was a light journey about young love. That being said, this is full of missed…
I agree with you about everything, except that they should or had already, received hate for Trapped. What I've seen so far is that Trapped has been overwhelmingly positively received. It's even featured on this website under #12 as a top show. There is no BL shows list where it is not mentioned in the top 5 best BLs. Of course, I have no access (or interest) to go read reviews on Chinese websites, but considering how well The Untamed was received, I see really no reason why Chinese fans would be against long story arcs?! The Trapped cast had so many events and fan meetings all over Asia, so I think CHOCO Media should be fairly satisifed with how Trapped performed.

I do considered it a bad sign that they completely abandoned their Instagram account for MODC, and focused all their efforts on promoting the show only on FB. But maybe they think most MODC fans would be on FB instead of Instagram?

I know I'm in the minority here now, but I definitely won't be too sad to see this show end. It has been dull…
I don't feel it is a total waste of time, it did feature a more light-weighted story, however there were many cute moments where you want to just hug a plush toy and be jealous of their perfect love. I consider it a show for escapism, and not really something you can draw important life lessons or be thrilled by the character development.

I’m kinda surprised reading comments here now! In the first few episodes I was here reading comments and everyone…
Like everything, there are pros and cons. The chemistry between the characters and the acting is definitely a pro, it's just outstanding, con is the lack of plot. It's just scene after scene of fan service, making you happy and warm inside if you root for the couples. But there are virtually no obstacles for any of them, and even short term problems ("will you get into university") is handled very fast and anti-climactic. It's the perfect show when the weather is bad, you have some chocolate and warm tea and you need 450 minutes of fluff :)

OMG, I hate those reality shows.
Depends how you define gay content. If you mean two guys kissing, then no. If you mean important gay lessons such as how to snatch wigs, read people and be shady, then definitely yes ;)

I love it and support it. Sounds amazing! That is a show I would watch.
I'm thinking Techno could have a cocaine addiction, he seems happy like all the time, it's suspicious. The love child has to be Puifai and Type, since Tharn is 100% gay, so I don't see him having illegitimate children around the world. ;P

Yeah! A supporter :) I have many ideas, for example, we move Tharn and Type to a work place setting, like a tourist agency, where they organize trips around Thailand, however, unknown to each other they are both involved in tax avoidance and money laundering. Type learns that Tharn stole more money than him at a party and flips a table. They are discovered by authorities and both are sent to prison, when it's revealed that Tharn was never properly Thai, and only had an american passport. He is deported from Thailand and it ends with them declaring their undying love to each other over Skype :)

First off, THEY ARE SO CUTEEEEE. Anyway this has been a sad and depressing episode although there are cute moments…
It is actually a great community with sometimes great discussions, and even a great place to get additional information, since not everyone is active on every platform (i don't have twitter, where i feel a lot of the tharntype information comes first), however it would be nice if some people did not take the life of fictional characters so serious or even personal. Hi back :)

I just started also watching the real housewives of atlanta, so my level for drama has new hights, i guess that's why I find tharntype's drama so petty. Like, real men cheat on you while pregnant! Can't the writers of BLs watch some real housewives?! This and DBK is so weak sauce with the drama, I want Type cheating and having a baby with Puifai, and Tharn (after adequate levels of therapy and crying and meaningless grindr hook-ups) to forgive him and they live happily ever after ;-)

On Does the Flower Bloom? Dec 9, 2019
It was... an interesting experience this movie. It had some genuinely nice scenes, but zero chemistry between the romantic couple. Everytime they "tried" to hug, it looked like they were hugging a stone. On top of the very awkward kissing, one does wonder how many people from production saw this and why they did not ask the actors to repeat the scene? It tried to delve into some deeper topics, about loss and memories, but it ultimately failed to even scratch the surface, making it all very superficial and meaningless. There was even a love triangle which went absolutely nowhere. Basically, if you have free 90 minutes where you wanna look at pretty faces, maybe this is the movie for you.

Pete doesn't know Kao didn't cheat. He's been lying about the lessons, how can Pete ever believe it was just lessons?
There is no other option, i believe it's time to sacrifice Kao, to teach everyone a lesson about tutoring in secret! The audacity!

Such contrived drama this show has, it's not even worth commenting... I have to keep reminding myself that these are last year engineers, and not first year high schoolers... All this fuss for some secret tutoring lessons, could we have Kao cheat at least?! At this point I want him to cheat with Non, then there will be some actual reason for Pete's dramatics. I think it's cool that they are intertwining the lying part with what Pete's actually bothered about, that Kao can't tell his mom and friends that they are together, so in a way Non is just the catalyst, but this is all so contrived, it would've been such a cool show in more experienced writing hands.

On Until We Meet Again Dec 7, 2019
When they were listening to music together on the bus, i was literally thinking here comes the flashback, here comes the crying haha But no! We did it! A whole episode without crying :) the scene in front of the giant aquarium where they almost kissed was very romantic. I just hope it was like that in the book, and not only an advertisement for this place.

A truly outstanding, mutilayered mini series, which would've been nominated for awards had it been made in a Western country. Great script, great actors, wonderful scenery. I'm sure you can read the reviews, where it's more elaborated, however, in this comment I would just like to mentioned that the most brilliant thing about this movie for me is how they subverted basically the plot from Madam Butterfly. The girlfriend leaves Nueng, to have a child with another man, but then returns and dies, giving the child to the 'childless' couple (Nueng and Porsche). She played madame Buttefly at the beginning and then she became her towards the end.

i just read on twitter that there i a theory that xigu is probably terminal sick or something and will die thats…
This literally does not make any sense. Why would someone study so hard to get into University and plan to have an amazing life together with his boyfriend if he is about to die? I think if he is going to die, they better make a plot twist, like 10 years later, in a hospital and him remembering their high school days, so that basically this entire story is one big flashback :)

Well, I guess, there always must be that ONE person who ruins the party and in this case it's me. I'm not enjoying…
I think everyone should be allowed to express their opinion, even if it's a negative one, people should be more mature than to allow internet comments to influence if they enjoy something or not. Back on topic, I kinda agree with you. That little semblance of plot, whether XHT gets into university or not was so anti-climactically resolved by him rushing into the kitchen and just blurting it out, with them immeditaley deciding to live together, what should we look forward to next week, if they have sex or not? It became kinda boring after this, and I hope they at least give us a nice ending, because I want the DVD to be next to my Trapped one when it is released.

I don't know exactly what to think about this serie even after 4 episodes. How is the reception? I heard people…
My main issue is that everything about this show is so.... Amateurish! Compared to DBK or TharnType, the scenes are long and boring with bad lighting and poor colors, the dialogue is cringy, plot is non-existant with so much product placement! They have some comedic moments that they pull off sucessfully and the chemistry is great between the leads... Oh, and I guess I'm the exception that kinda likes the music, it's mostly on point with emotional scenes... But that is as much praise as i can give it. I'm basically still watching because i like to relax by watching both this and DBK on Sunday.

I also agree with what you said, and I feel like most of the people commenting about Type being toxic, are seeing…
I think we could all agree that Type's behaviour is very far from being a model boyfriend or even how you should allow anyone to treat you in real life (i don't think anyone punching me once will be spoken to ever again/or still be alive to repeat that action). However, i have to disagree with you on the point that the kick in the balls was out of jealousy. I've seen the episode only once so maybe I need to see it again to judge it appropriately, but that scene was a typical men's fight for being "top dog". Tharn pushed him to the wall, kissing him, making him bend to his will, and Type wanted to reaffirm hs dominance that even though he is the bottom, he has the more dominant personality, hence "no one puts Type in a corner" situation where he kicked him. It's fun analyzing the scenes, but at the end of the day it's just a tv show and not real life.
