This will also have a different storyline. Liu Ying starts out as a maid and is not a High Goddess Immortal like Bai Qian as far as I know. Liu Yang does save him when he is in the form of a snake. He does propose marriage, but then an incident takes place that makes Yuchu Longyan follow and protect Liu Yang for 3 lifetimes, but she never knew about him (or forgot) and it's not until the 4 lifetime that she begins to notice him. So I think that warrants a different level that is not exact copy/remake. Besides, the author of TMOPB plagiarized the entire story and had to pay the original creator. I don't think this game origin story of Yu Long needs to pay respects to her.

Honestly, what Xianxia drama is completely original? It's always the same premise with magical creatures/immortals and lifetimes. Ashes of Love and Love & Redemption are also very, very similar but then also a bit different.

Indirectly, I think some comments were made to drag Bai Lu. They're not as vicious but then again worst have been made against her. Out of all Xu Kai pairings, she gets the most hate. I did not watch Wu Jinyan's work, but no doubt she is talented. I think Yanxi fans are happy they gonna have a happy ending this time. Ofc Kailu shippers are gonna be sad. Ok? I have my opinion. You have yours. It's extremely narrow-minded to say they are the best TBH when great actresses like Song Yoon-Ah and Go Hyun Jung exist. Seo Ye Ji is building her rapport currently, I see her as someone elevating toward being one of the best. I have seen Reply 1994, and Go Ara was great in it. But I've seen her in previous drama, Who Are You? too. Even her movie with Yoon Seung-ho was also a forgettable performance. Reply 1994 is the only one where I enjoyed her acting. Also Moon Chae Won is my fave, so ofc I'm not gonna rule out her as not being in the top best, she's killing it on Flower of Evil.

That's on the actors... I'm talking about support staff, the people who does sound, costuming, tech who will still need their bread and butter. There is no vaccine, so I don't think any country is truly "safe." IMO this drama is tone-deaf like celebrities singing Somewhere Over the Rainbow to cheer up the masses struggling during this pandemic. But you can enjoy while I won't. :)

Well, that's why I say I didn't know what behind-the-scenes projects they were doing to reinforce support for medical systems all across the board. Why would I be naive? Seems like you are being defensive and just want to vent at me. It's an acting job like any other, I wouldn't be surprised they were paid, but if not then their bank accounts won't get that deposit in the end. Pretty sure production staff needs to eat and needs to get paid. Don't know where you are getting your sources from, but I don't know much about this production, working in the health field now, I'm exhausted asf to care about this drama.
