- Yu Long sounds like 10 Miles of Peach Blossom... sounds hard to beat- Promise of Chang'an sounds like Xiao Zhuang…
I've played the game for Yulong (original is a game)... it's a bit different from TMOPB. Perhaps, similar concept but different execution. She doesn't start off as a Goddess, but mortal servant as written in description. I like the underdog element added. Xianxia stories are not much different in overdone tropes such as love transpiring over multiple lifetimes or saving celestial creatures, dragons, snakes, phoenixes (Ashes of Love) who turns out to be a romantic partner. TMOPB is a well done drama but much of the credit is due to the BL novel from which it was plagarized.
Really like Lee Joon Gi, I've only see one drama of Moon Chae Won, so I'm not sure how I feel about her yet.
She's one of my favorite SK actress. I feel she sometimes pick roles that aren't that compelling or the drama itself isn't that great. She was really good in Innocent Man (she had amazing chemistry with Song Joong Ki) and the Princess' Man. Goodbye Mr. Black and Mama Fairy and the Woodcutter didn't really exemplify her acting skills.
It's okay to be poor in dramas because you can still afford an extravagant closet of stylish outfits and argue with the male lead on the latest model of Samsung phone. Haha!
First of all thanks I heard Han Hyo Joo acting sucks especially in "W" and Son Ye Jin had a similar role in her…
OMG. I didn't read this post for a while, but you are quite rude. You wrote something rude to the author. I just tried to let you know they weren't trying to belittle you. I comment on people's comments they leave on kisskh... is that not allowed? You're grown, so act like it then. Thanks.
All of Bi's clothing in Full House was terrible. Rewatching the airplane scene, I would've purge all over that ugly af blouse too! It's funny his childhood friend/crush was a stylist but did a terrible job for his photo shoots ahahaha!
I was turned off by how you introduced your hatred of Kang Sora's character in Doctor Stranger while trying to uplift Jin Se Yeon's character lol very ironic. It took me out of the argument a bit, but you have some interesting points about the contrast of their decisions and actions in the drama. I think Sora is the stronger actor and captivates audiences better. Her acting varies within her dramas and is dynamic while Jin Se Yeon's acting is tedious and unchanging, so I think criticism comes easy for her, which is uncalled for when analyzing character behavior and not acting techniques. I almost wished the two actresses had their roles switched. Either way, great article, I haven't watched Doctor Stranger, but seems like Jae Hee's character is very complex and had a whole boatload of haters!
Had hopes for this drama as the two leads are adorable but couldn't get back into it when they both ended up forgetting each other like what the heck? I guess because we had another 40 episodes to fill. An annoying cliche painted onto the screen from the writing.
Go Ah Ra's character in Hwarang was beyond frustrating, She was a capable woman who didn't need anybody until…
Her terrible character made me like Seo Ye Ji's Princess character so much more. I'd wish she was the lead haha. Seo Ye Ji's acting poweress definitely caught my eye in Hwarang.
This is what annoyed me about Yoon Eun Hye's character in Coffee Prince lol. Could not stomach that drama because she whined and cried every time Gong Yoo yelled at her. It was so annoying.
I was not that annoyed with Han Hyo Joo in W, maybe because I like the writer since she wrote Queen Inhyun's Man and I was too into the story of inevitable forbidden romance. The story did kinda go down the drain towards the ending ngl.
Hahaha, I like Another Oh Hae Young, but I get what you mean. I don't know why she was so hung up over Eric's character. Like girl move on, he's worth shit.
Characters like Park Shin Hye from You're Beautiful annoys the hell outta me. They're brainless, monotone and boring aside from the obvious love line. They're boring on their own.
because Imperial Cuisine is a rip off of the international hit Jewel in the Palace
Maybe the concept as a whole is similar. I mean in the Imperial Cuisine story there are some differences. The FL does not become an imperial physician.
Oh heck no! This story sounds like my cup of tea. The actual maidservant is the FL, yas please. Lifetimes added, OK! Bambi is beautiful and a good actress; I cannot wait to ship~
the producer Fang Fang was also the producer for The Untamed he picked the same actors for this drama.
I mean you can only add the actors that match the roles, and I'd say it would be hard to watch a drama where WYB and XZ are not the leads because this one already have the main leads. And I can just imagine the hate Zoey will get again for being in a love line with either of them hahaha.
I was interested in the story when they said a Miao girl... I would have love to see another actress casted, would love to see different Miao celebs representing.
I was not that annoyed with Han Hyo Joo in W, maybe because I like the writer since she wrote Queen Inhyun's Man and I was too into the story of inevitable forbidden romance. The story did kinda go down the drain towards the ending ngl.

I can't wait to see more of him.
